This Amber Portwood situation keeps getting worse and worse. Which is really saying something, because it was terrible from the very start. You probably know thar Amber was arrested in July after allegedly assaultig her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. You probably also know about the shocking audio recordings, in which Amber can be heard beating and verbally abusing Glennon . But did you know there was another victim in all this? Well, there is — and now, like so many others before her, she's taking Amber to court. Check it out: 1. Jailbird Amber’s mugshot collection might not be as big as Jenelle Evans’ but the woman is no stranger to police custody. 2. Inmate Mom Amber has been arrested several times before, and she’s even served hard time for her violent ways. 3. Not Her First Rodeo So if anyone understands how the bail bond system works, it’s Amber. But as we’ve seen in the past, knowing that she’s doing wrong is not enough to prevent Portwood from carrying through with her actions. 4. Amber Alert Rather than going the traditional route and using her sizable fortune or taking out a loan to get out of jail, Amber took advantage of an old woman. 5. The Worst According to Starcasm, a woman named Rhonda put up $2,000 to get Portwood out of the clink after her July arrest. And of course, Amber never paid her back. 6. Help Me, Rhonda So who is Rhonda? Well, she’s 60 years old, and she has no apparent ties to Amber, which has led many to the conclusion that she’s simply a fan of the show. View Slideshow
Last week, it was a bit of a shock to see who went home on Dancing With The Stars . This week, Ray Lewis had to sit out from dancing, as training had awoken an old sports injury. He has to have surgery on the tendons in his foot. Producers were able to scramble and come up with a substitution, but that wasn’t the night’s only surprise. … Former winner Rashad Jennings stepped up to fill in for Ray, performing a Cha Cha with Cheryl Burke. This special substitution presented their best interpretation of what had been planned for Ray. Honestly, producers have to fill timeslots right down to the second. Then came Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko performing a Tango. Lauren moves well, but she is not super confident or giving off the right vibes. It seems to be a mental thing, rather than physical. The judges decreed: 6 7 7 Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten were a joy as they performed the Rumba, and not only because of their choice of music. But also that. This was a surprisingly sub-par performance for Hannah, but only because Hannah is a great dancer. It was still very good. The judges agreed, handing out: 7 7 7 Karamo Brown and Jenna Johnson did not exactly wow the panel with their Jive. Remember, even the most fun formal dances are about controlled movements. Karamo’s were a little erratic, which was disappointing. The judges want to see better from him, and awarded him: 5 5 6 Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber performed a Rumba. This was a jarringly good performance and showed noticeable improvemen. Ally’s movements were beautiful and a pleasure to watch. The judges felt the same way, doling out: 8 8 8 Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson also came in with a Rumba. Kel’s dancing was a little stiff. It looks like he really just needs more experience with dance and he can improve — which is the point of the show. Though he ended up in the danger zone by the episode’s end, Kel received a 7 6 7 James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater were nothing short of majestic as they danced a Rumba. At this point James at least has some competition, but he continues to bully everyone with his graceful dancing and his charisma (despite one slip up). The judges ruled: 8 7 8 Kate Flannery and Pasha Pashkov continued their marked improvement since the first episode with a Quickstep. She really did well, with only one slip up. In fact, Kate seems to have an instinct for dance that makes her a joy to watch. That’s how the judges felt, too, as they handed her: 8 8 8 Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Val Chmerkovskiy danced a Tango. Sailor treated audiences to an almost too dazzling smile and moved with the grace of a professional. This is where you really see dance as an art form. The pleased judges handed her: 7 8 8 Lamar Odom and Peta Murgatoyd were … less improssive with their Tango. Lamar actually showed an observable improvement because there were moments when he really did well. But only part of the time. A number of slip-ups earned Lamar: 6 5 5 Sean Spicer and Lindsay Arnold weren’t fooling anyone with their Cha Cha. Sadly, it seems that Sean lacks a sense of rhythm as much as he lacks a sense of morality. He was too fast, he was too slow — at some point, he just seemed lost. Audiences understand the gimmick of having an infamous refrigerator-thief who should be behind bars for his role in the Trump regime on the show. But with a score from the judges of 5, 5, and 5, how long is he really going to stick around? Ultimately, Sean, along with Lamar and Kel, skated by this week because of Ray Lewis’ departure. It’s been over five months since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life. Lovato checked into rehab after the incident and spent 90 days dividing her time between two top-notch facilities and two teams of experts. These days, the singer is out of treatment, and insiders say she’s fully committed to the hard work of recovery. Lovato has been sharing frequent updates with her fans on social media, and yesterday, she took to Instagram to post some holiday photos. While it appears that Demi had a very merry Christmas, she’s also experienced some frustrations as of late, and she took to Twitter last week to clear the air. “If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF,” the singer tweeted on December 21. “Otherwise people stop writing about my recovery, because it’s no one’s business but mine. I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME. “Someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today.. but until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up shit that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal.” Lovato continued: “I would love to set the record straight on all the rumors out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to. All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support. “I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so fucking much thank you.” While fans have been eager for updates on Demi’s health, most of the responses to her tweets were messages of support and promises to respect her privacy. It’s certainly understandable that Lovato would prefer to avoid public scrutiny during her healing process, and given her close relationship with her fans, we’re sure she’ll offer more information when she feels the time is right. Bristol Palin thinks she's let her kids down. The mother of three opened up to Dr. Drew Pinsky on the Teen Mom OG reunion special that aired this week, detailing her awkward co-parenting situation with the fathers of her children and lamenting some of her life choices. Palin was mostly critical of herself, however. What did she say on air? How did things get to this point? Scroll down to find out… 1. When Teen Mom OG Started Filming… … Bristol was in a relatively happy marriage to Dakota Meyer. They were (and still are, of course) parents to girls named Sailor and Atlee. 2. But Then? The wheels came flying off this relationship. Fast. And hard. 3. PTSD Sucks! Meyer was in the Marines. He lost most of his platoon to an attack in Afhganistan in 2009. We’re talking very serious stuff here. 4. Bristol Wasn’t Exactly Sympathetic, Though Palin told the camera on her very first Teen Mom that her husband’s PTSD has been “hard on our marriage.” Which we can understand, but still: harsh! 5. Meyer Opens Up: “We got in a big gunfight and everybody with me is dead,” Dakota said of the battle that took his friends. “When I first came home, train wreck is not even, that’s an understatement. Anxiety got me real bad.” He added that his children are the “reason I get up every day,” saying they “add to the quality of life, they’re everything.” 6. Damn, Dakota “My anxiety has been going nuts, it’s been crushing me, I’ve been having nightmares,” Meyer explained to his wife at another point. “I’ve tried to tell you over and over and asked you for help a thousand times. Though some have said that Bristol Palin can't handle being a Teen Mom OG star , she has certainly faced her share of drama. But one element of her life seem to have stabilized in very recent weeks. Lately, Bristol has been talking — no, gushing — to fans and followers about her ex, Dakota Meyer. She says that the two of them have been doing a stellar job of co-parenting Sailor Grace, whom they share. And Bristol isn't the only one who's happy with their arrangement or raving about the other online. Dakota has had even more to say about Bristol. Are these two getting back together? 1. Bristol and Dakota are in a good place The pair of exes have had some difficult, trying times. That’s why they are exes. But from what they are both saying, it sounds like things are so much better these days. 2. Bristol gushed about Dakota During a recent Instagram Q&A, Bristol awarded her ex a glowing review. 3. Things are improving! “We have made incredible strides the last several weeks,” Bristol announced to fans. 4. Remember a week ago when Dakota Meyer said things between himself and Bristol Palin were ” the best [they’ve] ever been .” Well… a lot can change in a week. On this past Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG , viewers watched Bristol and Dakota basically end their marriage, as both sides apologized for their mistakes and both acknowledged Meyer’s PTSD had become too much for the relationship to handle. It seemed as though the divorce was mutual and, hey, at the time, maybe everything was amicable. In a new MTV-sponsored video, however, Palin advised viewers not to rush into relationships and pregnancies, telling her audience the following: “I got engaged and pregnant within a month. Planned a wedding. And I was like, ‘I can’t get married.’ Called off the wedding. Went through the whole pregnancy by myself. “Friggin sucked.” That scenario does sound like it would friggin suck. And Palin made it sound even worse when she said she felt guilty that her second child essentially had no father and, as a result… “I got back together with him. Got married right away. Had another baby right away. And then we got divorced just recently.” Meyer, however, has taken EXTREME exception to this portrayal of both himself and the situation between him and Palin. He grants Bristol the basic facts of her pregnancies, but points most of the blame in her direction when it comes to the decisions she made and the way she handled it all. “Yes, we got pregnant right after our engagement,” he captioned a photo of himself and his daughter Sailor, 2. “We planned a wedding with our families and friends and Bristol decided to leave me a week prior . I spoke with her family every month and made it clear I would be the father of my child. “I reached out to her before Sailor was born and asked what the plan was to co-parent. She told me to go through the courts to establish paternity.” Moreover, Meyer argues, if Bristol felt so guilty… if she actually wanted him in the picture… why wasn’t he invited to the birth of his child? “I found out my child was born on Twitter,” he wrote this week in response to Bristol’s video, adding: “Can you imagine being a dad and not being allowed to be at your child’s birth? She denied my paternity until it could be proven, at which point Sailor was born. “For Bristol to state that Sailor didn’t have a dad is laughable. “What really happened is Bristol kept our daughter from having a father present at birth and until the courts ruled that I was her father.” Meyer concluded his angry post like this; “I can promise you this, Sailor and Atlee always had a dad, and always will have a dad.” Pretty straightforward and to the point from Meyer. And we can understand why he’s so upset here. Palin is doing what all Teen Mom cast members almost have to do: stir up drama. She and Dakota can’t just have a friendly divorce and pleasant co-parenting arrangement and nothing more because why would viewers tune in each week? But Meyer is a veteran. He suffers from anxiety and depression and constant nightmares because everyone in his platoon except for himself was killed years ago in a battle in Afghanistan. This is anything but your run-of-the-mill Teen Mom or reality show fodder. After all he’s been through, Meyer isn’t about to sit back and let his life story be turned into a ratings or publicity-grab by his ex-wife. And, really, can you blame him?!? Well, this is a one heckuva gosh darn surprise, you betcha! Last month we learned that Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer are back together after separating last year. Yesterday, it was announced that Bristol and Dakota are engaged (for the second time). And just moments ago, the happy couple revealed to the world that they’re married, via a joint statement issued to Entertainment Tonight : “Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be,” the Meyers wrote. “We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!” Well, we guess the heart wants what it wants. And sometimes it thinks it wants something, then it changes its mind, makes the other heart take a paternity test, and then decides that it does in fact want it wanted in the first place. Yes, to say Bristol and Dakota have endured a rocky road to the altar would be putting it very, very mildly. Bristol called off her wedding to Dakota just days before the couple was scheduled to exchange vows in May of last year. Interestingly, the couple’s families still gathered for what must have been one hell of an awkward barbecue in Kentucky on the day that the nuptials were supposed to take place. Sarah Palin was reportedly spotted screaming at Dakota at the shindig, leading many to believe the Marine Corps veteran had cheated on her daughter. Bristol and Dakota battled over custody of daughter Sailor Grace, and at one point, things got so ugly that Bristol forced Dakota to take a paternity test . Seriously. That’s one heck of a story to tell the grandkids. Amazing that it wasn’t the final chapter. According to reports that we find incredibly hard to believe, the couple grew close again during Meyer’s visits to Alaska to see his daughter. And today they dropped a wedding bombshell on us all. So … congrats? Maybe we’re just cynical, but we’re gonna hold out and see how this thing goes before we get too excited. Don’cha know.
