The Originals Season 3 Episode 1 Recap: Yes, Sires

What’s past is prologue. So William Shakespeare wrote in The Tempest. If this is the case, however, the past for Klaus Mikaelson may be the prologue to a very dangerous future, based on The Originals Season 3 Episode 1 at least. After closing one chapter in May, this CW drama opened up a brand new one on Thursday night. Yes, there were still loose ends to tie up from Season 2, namely the fact that Davina is Queen Regent (and having her power challenged by older queens in the Quarter) and also that Hayley is once again under the werewolf curse. The latter proved to be a problem after a company named Kingmakers Inc. bought up all the land in the bayou and hired independent contractors to kill as many wolves as they could find. Once Elijah came across these contractors, he dispatched of them in classic Elijah fashion. But he also found a truckload of dead wolves and wondered if one of them is Hayley. We know it is not because Davina used some kind of spell to summon Hayley and tell her she must do something for her because she can see her daughter. Elsewhere, we met a detective named Will Kinney who sometimes uses Vincent to help with cases that appear supernatural. He also called on Cami (who has been serving as Klaus’ actual psychologist) during the premiere to figure out what’s going on with victims that appears to have been killed by a vampire. But this was the meant of The Originals Season 3 Episode 1: Via flashback, we see that the Mikaelsons (Finn, Kol, Elijah, Klaus and Claire Holt as Rebekah) decide to go undercover as a royal type of family in order to live a “normal” life soon after they are turned. They keep an underling named Lucien alive in order to help them with this guise and he proves to be very useful in offering the family advice on how to lie and how to live in an upper class society. Fast forward many centuries and Lucien shows up in New Orleans. It’s clear right away that he’s a vampire and that Klaus turned him. He warns Klaus that vampires around the world are feuding and they’ve realized that the best way to do away with their rivals is by killing the Original that sired them… because this would take down the entire line. He also hints that there’s some White Oak remaining. After using his psychic to prove his point that trouble is ahead, Lucien claims to be on Klaus’ side. His life is tied to Klaus, after all. But we close the episode by seeing that Lucian is behind Kingmakers Inc. We also cut to a scene in some distant land, where a woman is so disturbed by the news she receives in a letter that she kills the servant who brought it to her. This woman is named Aurora. We met her in the flashback when Klaus and company were undercover, with Lucien saying she a beauty they should stay away from. So, in other words… WTF?!? It’s safe to say we’ll learn a lot more about Aurora and Lucien and this pending danger on The Originals Season 3 Episode 2 . And it’s VERY safe to say we’ll be tuning in to see where this new storyline goes from here. Will you?!?

The Originals Season 2 Episode 7 Recap: While You Were Sleeping

Elijah flashed back to his childhood and suffered through a restless day of sleep on The Originals Season 2 Episode 7 , courtesy of Esther’s witchy ways. When he awoke (courtesy of an antidote Klaus tracked down in the bayou), quite a few developments had taken place. To wit: Watch The Originals Season 2 Episode 7 Online KLAUS KILLED HIS FATHER . His biological dad followed Klaus out into the woods and helped him find the magic herb that would awaken ELijah. He talked to his son about the peace he would find as a werewolf and seemed to make a sincere impression on Klaus. But he also said that he knows Hope is alive (via his werewolf intuition or something) and this would prove to be his fatal undoing. Yes, Klaus believed that his father had honest intentions about helping to protect Hope. But what if Esther got a hold of him? What if she cast some spell on him and learned the truth? It was too risky. Klaus could not afford any chance his daughter would be in danger. So he sliced his father to death with a sword and left his corpse as a present to Esther. VINCENT AND KOL WERE CAPTURED . Hayley, Josh, Aiden and Marcel used Cami as bait to lure Vincent/Finn in, taking advantage of his feelings for his pupil. But they were nearly overpowered on their own once they had Vincent cornered in the church. So it’s a good thing Jackson accepted his responsibility as the alpha when he did, swooping in to rescue Hayley and giving Cami a chance to snap sme magic handcuffs on Vincent. Kol, meanwhile, spent more of the episode bonding with Davina. He showed her a tomb he used to frequent in 1914 and explained to her how he knows some dark magic. But he needs her help. Their chemistry makes them stronger as a team and, if they work together, they could make a dagger into the kind of weapon with which they could stab Klaus and leave him in a box. When you watch The Originals online , you’ll see how Marcel is able to apprehend Kol after he brings Davina home to sleep. So we left off with Klaus and Elijah smiling over their handcuffed brothers, planning to use them in some way against Esther… who captured Camille to close out the hour. The Originals Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: The Worst is Yet to Come

Neither of the Mikaelson brothers were left in a very good place to conclude The Originals Season 2 Episode 4 . Let’s start with Klaus: after eavesdropping on her phone call with Davina, he determined that Mikael had been taken to her family’s cabin for protection. So he went up there with Cami, the latter stopping for the two to bonds over some drinks first. Watch The Originals Season 2 Episode 4 Online And while it seemed like Cami was making progress in getting through to Klaus, explaining how he ought to appreciate the small things in life and how revenge won’t make him happy, Klaus ended up ditching her on the dance floor. He ran to the cabin and called out Mikael, who showed up after Kaleb (who was on hand to help Davina with a broken ankle) freed up from Davina’s spell. The fight was on! At one point, Mikael did stab his non-son with the white oak stake, but he missed the heart. Klaus retaliated by sticking Papa Tunda’s painful weapon into his non-father’s stomach. It made a home there and caused non-stop pain for Mikael. But Klaus did not kill him. He placed Mikael in a car’s trunk and drove away toward the end of the episode. Viewers, however, saw Mikael awaken, reach in and pull the weapon out. Elijah, meanwhile, agreed to help Hayley and a werewolf named Aiden. The latter had been charged by Vincent to help turn a number of children, who possessed the werewolf gene, into werewolves. This meant they had to kill at least one human. But Aiden didn’t like the idea, mainly because one of the kids was his little brother. So Elijah (and Marcel and Oliver and Josh) teamed up to combine forces and they were successful in leading the kids to safety. However, Vincent eventually caught up to Elijah and captured him along with Esther. He was left chained up when the episode faded to black, his mother saying she wanted the family to be back together, but only once Elijah and his siblings have been purified. ELSEWHERE: Gia is coming into her own as a character. Elijah taught her how to rip someone’s heart out this week. Vincent is still acting as Cami’s psychology professor person. Josh and Aiden are sort of hot for each other. They had been flirting on some dating app and then met at a bar after all the crazy werewolf/vampire action went down. What did everyone else think of this installment? The introduction of Aiden? The capturing of Elijah? We Still Coming: Viral Wedding Text Exposed as Hoax, But Real Story is Almost as Good

The viral story of a wedding invite a bride accidentally texted to a stranger who showed up anyway to crash the thing has been revealed as a hoax. The wedding photo is real and the real story behind it is pretty darn good, though. This Instagram text exchange between newlywed “Kristen” and a stranger who told the bride, “We still coming,” was made up by some random web user. That user based on this real photo of the wedding party with their new friends that was posted to Reddit by the newlyweds, Ian and Amy Hicks. “The text is pretty funny. The #westillcoming? That’s hilarious,” Ian said. “But this is really such a great story, because it’s true .” “It happened to us.” The Hicks’ wedding took place in June at the Colony Club in Detroit, after which the duo drove around the city in an antique trolley for photos. Photographer Adam Sparkes suggested they stop by the abandoned Michigan Central Station for a few shots, and there, they met rap group 7262. Filming a new music video, complete with custom Monte Carlos. “Amy and I go off to the side and get a few pictures,” Ian recalls. “Before I can even turn around my groomsmen are already over there talking to the guys. So our photographer was like, ‘All right, let’s go over there.'” The rappers clapped for the happy couple when they came over and joined the pair for pictures, then guys of 7262 invited the wedding party to dance. Ian, Amy and their guests obliged, dancing to their song “Anthem.” The couple said the photo first went viral after someone pulled the shot from Ian’s Facebook page and posted it to Reddit, but it gets weirder still. “My little brother, one of the groomsman … one of the rappers got his number a month later and was like, ‘Hey, we’re posting the video to YouTube today,'” Amy said. “We didn’t even know that they were filming us.” Apparently, the wedding group’s moves wmade the final cut. The bridal party is shown getting down in the (NSFW) “Anthem” video from 7262’s Jojinoo and Mojo: 7262 – Anthem How’s that for a wedding story you’ll never forget? It’s gotta be pretty high up there, although there have been others over the years that give even Ian, Amy and the guys from 7626 a run for their money.
