A few hours later, Superintendent Eddie Johnson held a press conference where he laid out some of the police department’s findings and explained his frustration with what he calls a “concocted story”. Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty SZA & Kendrick Lamar Won’t Be Performing Oscar-Nominated “All The Stars” According to an exclusive report from Variety , Kendrick Lamar and SZA won’t be performing at The Oscars this year. Despite efforts from The Academy to secure the TDE labelmates for a performance of the their Oscar-nominated collaboration, “All the Stars” on the upcoming Oscars telecast. The reason for the two not performing their track from Black Panther Soundtrack , according to a source close to the situation, is both logistics and timing. Lamar was also noticeably absent from Grammys this year, after reports that he declined performing for that broadcast, as well. All four of the other nominated songs–“When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs” (Gillian Welch and David Rowlings), “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from “Mary Poppins Returns” (Bette Midler and Marc Shaiman), “I’ll Fight” from “RBG” (Jennifer Hudson) and “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born” (Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper)–will be performed. A previous plan for The Oscars was reportedly to showcase only “All the Stars” and “Shallow,” but that was quickly changed in the face of backlash and nominee solidarity, also following a report from Variety about that plan. “All the Stars” was nominated for four Grammys this year, including nods for both record of the year and song of the year. “King’s Dead,” another one from the Black Panther Soundtrack , earned Kendrick Lamar and his partner Jay Rock a Grammy for best rap performance, while Ludwig Göransson’s original score won a Grammy for best score soundtrack for visual media. Even though their lack of performance has been confirmed, there’s still no word on whether or not Kendrick Lamar and/or SZA will be in attendance at the Oscars ceremony.

Miranda Lambert has finally broken her social media silence since she and Blake Shelton finalized their divorce on Monday. And it looks like Miranda and Blake are in a good place…maybe. Miranda and Blake deleted their Twitter pics of each other, making their divorce official. But now, they are apparently BFF. At least that is the image they are trying to convey. Blake started the friendly Twitter dialogue by directly tweeting to Miranda. “Hey @mirandalambert can u believe there’s people who haven’t bought @ashleymonroe new album? Isn’t that shocking?!!” he said. Just one minute later, Miranda replied, “@blakeshelton no I can’t because it is the best work she has ever done! I love it! We love you @ashleymonroe “ The tweets seemed a little overly sentimental and prescribed, prompting one fan to question their authenticity. But Blake denied the claim: “Nope.. Not at all buddy.” Another skeptical fan tweeted to Blake, “losing respect because of this whole charade.” Shelton, apparently fed up with his fans’ doubt, snipped back, “Well rest assured not one s— is given..” Blake has been hyperactive on social media in recent days. The 39-year-old singer has been posting a battery of updates, which have been unrelated to his divorce, since Tuesday. Unlike Blake, Miranda, 31, has been mum until today. It appears that the divorce has taken an emotional toll on Lambert. The songstress pulled the plug on a performance in Canada, which was scheduled for July 8, two days after Shelton filed for divorce. Miranda’s BFF Ashley Monroe recently released an album and hosted a release party this week. Miranda attend the party despite her recent divorce. An observer mentioned that Lambert looked great and was emotional at times as she joined Monroe on stage. Despite her supposed emotional state, Shelton and Lambert continued to exchange tweets on Friday. They even joked about the new photos of Shelton pushing a stroller on Thursday as he walked to and from The Voice studios. “@blakeshelton I knew it…. You WERE pregnant!” Lambert joked. “This calls for a drink!” Shelton retweeted the message and responded, “Ha!!!!! Busted… I wasn’t JUST a fat ass. Drinking shall now begin…” It is hard to believe they are truly getting along so well. Both parties have been accused of infidelity. Reports even claim that Miranda confessed to cheating on Blake. Additionally, country singer Cady Groves hinted at having an affair with Blake. With this much drama and potential cheating, it is easy to believe their tweets were a front to maintain their squeaky clean image. In their official divorce announcement to fans they said, “This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.” Certainly, their Twitter behavior doesn’t reflect the sadness or anger they probably feel. In fact, she looks like what she’s always wanted to be – a legitimate, Oscar-nominated actress with an actual career in Hollywood! Yes, Lindsay is looking like Emma Stone these days. Benedict Cumberbatch is both very sorry and very embarrassed. Last week, the Oscar-nominated star was discussing the state of African-American actors in Great Britain with Tavis Smiley when he remarked: “As far as colored actors go, it gets really difficult in the U.K..” referring to the success of those such as Chiwetel Ejiofor and David Oyelowo in 12 Years a Slave and Selma, respectively. While Cumberbatch may have had his heart in the right place, he was subsequently criticized for using such an outdated term, prompting an apology from the man behind Sherlock. “I’m devastated to have caused offense by using this outmoded terminology,” he said. “I make no excuse for my being an idiot and know the damage is done. I can only hope this incident will highlight the need for correct usage of terminology that is accurate and inoffensive.” The Imitation Game star concluded: “The most shaming aspect of this for me is that I was talking about racial inequality in the performing arts in the U.K. and the need for rapid improvements in our industry when I used the term.” What do you think, fans? The BBC miniseries The Honourable Woman didn’t seem like the most obvious place to find some good nudity, but between Maggie Gyllenhaal baring boobs, butt, and backburger, as well as Lubna Azabal ‘s terrific topless scene, this is one you won’t want to miss! Finally it’s the Blu-ray debut of the Oscar-nominated 1988 comedy Married to the Mob , which features the terrific ta-tas and tush of Nancy Travis !
