Kim Kardashian Posts Engagement Ring Pic, Reaction: YES!!!

Kim Kardashian has issued her first public statement since getting engaged to Kanye West last night, and it’s comprised of a single word: YES!!! That’s what the reality star wrote on Instagram today, along with an up-close at the 15-carat engagement ring presented to her by West inside AT&T Park on Monday. Check out the enormous stone here:: As previously detailed, Kanye surprised Kim by blindfolding her… walking her inside the home stadium of the San Francisco Giants… and having the giant outfield video screen scream his heartfelt plea: “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” After Kardashian responded in the affirmative, friends and family members came flying out of the dugout to congratulate the couple, all while a 50-piece orchestra serenaded Kimye with songs by Nicki Hilson and, of course, Kanye himself. Fireworks and Roman candles also exploded into the night sky, as the occasion marked both the couple’s engagement and also Kim’s 33rd birthday. This posting is Kardashian’s first reaction to the life-changing news, while Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian have also responded and sent their best wishes to Kim and Kanye. Nick Cannon is a lucky man. The America’s Got Talent host turns 33 today and wife Mariah Carey gave Internet users a pretty good idea of how she plans to celebrate the occasion with her man, posting a selfie online and including with the cleavage shot a caption that reads: “Happy Birthday to my Hubby @NickCannon…’my baby I’m waiting on youuuu”hahaha! KKLB! GHL!!!! Mwah!!!!.” Mariah Carey Selfie While this may seem like an overshare to some (because it is), remember: Mariah isn’t exactly shy about her snack trays to begin with. She suffered a wardrobe malfunction on Good Morning America in May and has never met a low neckline she didn’t embrace. Not that we’re complaining, of course.

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner have stolen the break-up thunder from Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom . Confirming a rumor that has been floating around for months, the couple announced today that they are separated. “We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the Jenners tell E! News , adding: “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.” Kris and Bruce Jenner: Living Separately Talk of Kris and Bruce living apart has been circulating since June when Khloe actually told Jay Leno that Bruce has his own home during an appearance on The Tonight Show. Kris, specifically, has been asked about the chatter many times and yet has always brushed it off as tabloid nonsense. “We love each other and just laugh about it,” she told E! in November. “These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years.” So either something has changed since then or Kris has been misleading folks for a very long time. Just last month, sources said the Jenners might divorce, have been separated for months and have been sexless for years . Now we know at least one – and mostly likely two – of those allegations are accurate. We’ll have plenty more on this story over the coming days, including inevitable Tweets and Facebook messages from Kim Kardashian and company – but considering the loving front they put up on television, we must ask: Do you feel duped?

Selena Gomez is no longer a Disney actress. That will become especially apparent in early 2013 when Spring Breakers hits theaters. In the film – which Selena described as “racy” this week in a radio interview with Elvis Duran – Selena joins a bikini-clad Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson as young women who get in trouble with the law, only to then get bailed out by a drug dealer and forced to do some of his dirty work. This one is for you, Justin Bieber … “The movie is different,” Gomez said in that same interview. “I will be 20 this year. I am an actress; I love my job. I want to do things that are gonna challenge me and push me and make me think, ‘Oh, this is different, this is interesting, the script’s great.’ Harmony [Korine], the director is amazing and I got to work with a great cast, so it is what it is.” Included in that cast is James Franco. “He’s great. He’s very smart. I was completely intimidated,” Gomez said of the former Oscar nominee. “He gave me things that pushed my performance. I really, really appreciated it.” Selena also appreciates her fans, as well as her status of a role model. She says she embraces it. “In some aspects I’ve given that title and I take full responsibility for it,” Selena said. “I worked for Disney Channel. My show was the best thing that happened to me. “I got to have a great fan-base. There were girls, who were my age, 16, when I started and now they’re 19, 20, with me so we kind of grew up together. So in a way, some of my fans have already grown with me.”

Camille Grammer: Returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

Guess Camille Grammer couldn’t quit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after all. An E! source says she will, in fact, return to the Bravo hit for its third season. Grammer, who all but officially left her role as a series regular on the program earlier this year, is now heading back to the reality show in some capacity. She will be making cameos throughout next season, reports say, including an appearance at Kyle Richards’ birthday party, which she attended last weekend. Over the coming weeks, Kelsey Grammer’s former wife is expected to continue to shoot even more scenes for next season. So much for Camille being fired. “I didn’t want to expose my personal life so much anymore,” the 43-year-old explained last month regarding her departure from the highly-rated reality series. “I had done that and was over that. I care very much for my children, and that show tends to take me away from them. I really want to focus on them right now.” Well, at least to a point. Following six months of dating, three months of an engagement and millions of dollars worth of endorsements, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries got married today in Montecito, California. The bride wore Vera Wang, celebrity guests included Ryan Seacrest, Linday Lohan and Nicole Richie and… who are we kidding? Details about the event have been available for weeks! Expect many photos, quotes, videos and Tweets about the ceremony/reception to surface online over the coming days. Then, of course, there will be the four-hour extravaganza on E! in October. Michael Jackson Album Sales: Not Invincible

Michael Jackson’s posthumous new album, Michael , sold 228,000 copies in the U.S. and hundreds of thousands more abroad in its first week. The domestic haul lagged only Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (259,000) and Susan Boyle’s The Gift (254,000). Not Invincible , but very formidable. While perhaps a bit of a letdown by MJ standards, the “new” material was unreleased for a reason, and his sales trounced Crystal Bowersox . Not surprisingly, the late King of Pop’s label notes that he ” shipped platinum ” in 14 different territories, meaning a million or more units were sent to those areas. That’s different from his sales, which weren’t nearly that high, but it’s indicative of the interest his camp feels Michael will generate over the coming months. MJ hit #1 Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden. He was #3 and #4 in Japan and the UK, respectively, but sold more than 100,000 copies in each. The moral of the story? While will.i.am and Ne-Yo don’t approve of the album, and the Thriller days are long gone … the man is still pretty darn legendary. Obama bars lobbyists from Federal advisory boards

Hundreds, if not thousands, of lobbyists are likely to be ejected from federal advisory panels as part of a little-noticed initiative by the Obama administration to curb K Street's influence in Washington, according to White House officials and lobbying experts. The new policy — issued with little fanfare this fall by the White House ethics counsel — may turn out to be the most far-reaching lobbying rule change so far from President Obama, who also has sought to restrict the ability of lobbyists to get jobs in his administration and to negotiate over stimulus contracts. The initiative is aimed at a system of advisory committees so vast that federal officials don't have exact numbers for its size; the most recent estimates tally nearly 1,000 panels with total membership exceeding 60,000 people.
