London Lost Fans to Risk Blood Clot For World Record

The cast and crew of Lost may have left last night’s 62nd Emmy Awards empty-handed but overseas fans of the show are hellbent on winning a different kind of honor for J.J. Abrams’s series by watching all 121 episodes in one sitting at London’s Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square. If they succeed, the dedicated fans will set the world record for longest continuous cinema sitting… at three days . Deep vein thrombosis be damned!

Prince Charles’ Foundation Closure Amidst Fraud Investigation

The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health, founded by Prince Charles, is shutting down in the middle of police investigation.  British police arrested a former official for alleged fraudulence and money laundering. The investigation was said to expedited FIH’s closure. A 40-year old man and a 50-year old woman were arrested to a complaint about fraud at the charity. FIH is a small British charity promoting conventional medicine with alternative therapies including acupuncture, aromatherapy, homeopathy and massage. FIH was created in 1993, it is sometimes referred to as being one of The Prince’s Charities of which The Prince of Wales is President. Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Has Broken Left Leg

Duchess of Cornwall Camilla (Camilla Parker Bowles), second wife of Prince Charles, has a broken leg while hiking in Scotland, royal officials said Thursday. According to the Clarence House,the 62-year-old royal was walking in the hills Wednesday when she slipped and fractured the leg. The break was confirmed by an X-ray Thursday. The duchess would be wearing a plaster cast for the next six weeks and still intends to carry out her official engagements. Clarence House declined to say at which hospital the Duchess of Cornwall was being treated or where exactly she fell. Camilla has been staying at Birkhall, Prince Charles’ private home on the queen’s Balmoral estate in Scotland. He and Camilla typically spend their summers there, fishing and walking in the Scottish countryside, according to Charles’ website. Rumors of a royal wedding are intensifying as CBS says it’s no longer a question of “if,” but “when” Prince William and Kate Middleton will walk down the aisle. They’re both 27, and have been together, “more or less,” for eight years. The latest rumor is that William and Kate have come to an “understanding,” if not an engagement.
