While fans eagerly await to hear an official cause of death ruling on the legendary Prince, Dr. Drew Pinsky is weighing in with his theory. The Celebrity Rehab host believes the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer may have been the victim of an “accidental overdose,” according to The Hollywood Reporter . After news of the singer’s death broke, TMZ reported that Prince had been treated for an overdose to Percoset just six days prior. His plane made an emergency landing and the star was administered a “save shot,” typically given to counteract effects of opiates such as the aforementioned prescription painkiller. Prince had a history of hip problems and was believed to be taking Percoset to relieve symptoms. After the plane incident occurred, reps for the artist told press that Prince had been battling the flu, and his worsening symptoms are what necessitated the landing. Dr. Drew, for one, doesn’t buy it. “They don’t land planes for the flu,” he said. He speculates that Prince had taken a “combination of oral opiates and Benzodiazepines,” which he says is “extraordinarily dangerous.” View Slideshow: Prince: Stars React to the Death of Iconic Singer While perilous, Drew affirms that physicians prescribe the cocktail “all the time.” He goes on to explain that the potentially lethal combo “stops you from breathing and you die.” “It’s easy for that to happen with that combination even as prescribed,” he confirmed. However, Drew postulates that Prince didn’t have a problem with addiction, but that the overdose was likely an accident. “Although opiates figure into this story, it doesn’t really sound like an addiction story,” he said. “Even if it ends up being drugs that caused him to stop breathing, I would put it more in the accident category than the addiction category,” he continued. “But still, an otherwise healthy middle-aged man with hip pain should not be on opiates chronically. Period.” Drew’s statements bring to mind the accidental overdose and death of another music legend, Michael Jackson. in 2011, Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter after administering a fatal dose of Propofol to the late pop star. If you watch Game of Thrones online , but you’ve never read the George R.R. Martin novels on which the show is based, you might be pretty sick of book-readers ruining the plot twists the way Ramsay Bolton ruined Theon Greyjoy’s love life. Fortunately, we have good news for bibliophobes and fans of dong-related humor, alike. A page from the GoT Season 6 has leaked online, and now you can be in command of all the spoilers (and dick jokes) by doing about one one-billionth of the reading. The image on the left was posted on social media by a French actor named Elie Haddad, who’s playing an undisclosed role in the upcoming season. The original tweet was quickly deleted, but since this is the Internet and GoT we’re talking about, fans immediately began zooming in on the pic to try and decipher the text. While it doesn’t reveal the fate of Jon Snow or anything major like that, it does fill us in on where the Khaleesi wound up after being surrounded by Dothraki raiders in the season 5 finale. And as is pretty much always the case with GoT, there’s some peen talk, as well. According to our generation’s sharpest minds, the full text of the conversation (between two random Dothraki) is as follows: “I like her.” “She’s paler than milk.” “I bet she gets nice and pink when you pinch her.” “I’d like to know what a Khaleesi tastes like.” “Good. You can suck my dick.” And then, presumably, someone gets all pissed off and disembowels someone else, and a set of boobs wanders into the shot. Like we said, it doesn’t reveal much, but it does seem to confirm that Dany was captured by the Dothraki in one of the final scenes of Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 10 . Will they recognize her as the widow of Khal Drogo? Will she be able to recruit them to join her ever-growing army of disgruntled badasses? Will there be more wang-based dialogue? The answers are: we don’t know, we don’t know, and most definitely.
Thus far, season 5 of Game of Thrones has given us a the death of a Wildling king , the promise of two fan favorites finally crossing paths, and some seriously disobedient dragons. Thanks to teasers and interviews with the cast, we have some idea of what to expect going forward (including more torture from Ramsay Bolton . Oh, please don’t let it be this week! We’re not ready!), but if the GoT showrunners have taught us anything thus far, it’s that they’ve always got plenty of surprises up their baggy maester’s sleeves. Of course, Cersei’s second-creepster-in-command, Qyburn, also makes an appearance in this episode, so maybe she’s got something in store for her rivals. Unfortunately, it looks as though Ramsay will also rear his ugly head this week, so don’t say we didn’t warn you about the nightmare fuel that’s sure to be coming your way.
