Jailed after getting kicked out of a second rehab center in four months, Chris Brown will likely spend the next month behind bars, and possibly a lot longer. Chris Brown Arrested in Rehab Chris Brown was jailed Friday after getting thrown out of the Malibu rehab facility where he’s been living for nearly four months, per judge’s orders. It’s still unclear why he got the boot from the rehab center, but TMZ reports it was not related to drug abuse or violence. In any case, he was told to get out. And go directly to jail. By virtue of getting arrested for assault in D.C. last fall, Chris violated his probation for beating up Rihanna in 2009, and had his probation revoked. However, the judge in the Rihanna case ordered Chris to stay in rehab until April 17, when his D.C. assault case goes to trial, to see how it plays out. When Chris broke the (unspecified) rules and got booted, however, the judge had Sheriff’s deputies haul him to jail … where he may stay for awhile. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, will go to court Monday to ask the judge to let him either go to another rehab facility or go on house arrest pending the D.C. trial. Given that this is the second rehab facility that booted Brown, who is being treated for anger issues, PTSD and bipolar disorder , he faces an tough fight there. Also, prosecutors wanted him in jail instead of rehab from the start, so they’re not likely to go any easier on him now … to say the absolute least. In the D.C. case, Brown has a strong defense, but if he’s found guilty, he could land in prison for breaking the law while on probation for beating Rihanna. If he’s acquitted or the case is tossed, his probation would be reinstated.
