Real Housewives of New Jersey Reality Check: Gay Slurs and Veal Parmigiana

Last week on The Real Housewives of New Jersey , Danielle hired a few ex-cons to protect her at a cancer benefit. The night was supposed to be about a sick baby, but with Danielle and her shifty-eyed parolees present, the event turned into a circus freak show that bore conspiracy theories and insults — the most controversial of which, an offensive term for gay men, was addressed in last night’s episode “It’s Not Me, It’s You.” Click through to see which moments hit the Real/Fake Jackpot this week.

Just How Much Directing Did John Hillcoat Do for His Red Dead Redemption Short Film?

How do you follow up a bleak, underperforming, confusingly marketed film like The Road ? If you’re director John Hillcoat, you get hired by Rockstar Games to make a 30-minute film to promote the new game Red Dead Redemption , using only in-game assets. The short premiered on Fox at midnight last month; now it’s online, and…this is basically just a compilation of the scenes that are already in the game? Who knew?

Feedback — Just Cause 2 And iPad Gaming Edition

You don’t have to deal with my awkward pauses anymore, as Adam Sessler has returned to Feedback , albeit with some disappointing news: he didn’t find the intrepid Yeti during his fever dream. Abbie Heppe, Adam, Jake Gaskill and myself tried to soothe our crushed hopes and dreams with discussion about Apple’s new iPad and the launch games available for the device and much, much more.

Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer Details Teased With Grin-Inducing Screenshot

Rockstar Games plans to reveal a muddied trough of details about the multiplayer modes found in their much anticipate open-world western Red Dead Redemption this Thursday. And to make the wait for said details just that much more painful, Rockstar went ahead and released a new screenshot (above) from the game’s multiplayer mode that has me positively giddy. Unofficial multiplayer details leaked a couple weeks back, and revealed that Redemption wouldn’t use a traditional lobby system, but rather just let players freely wander the game world where they could then meet up with other players, form gangs and then jump into the various multiplayer modes. I sincerely hope this is true, and thankfully, we won’t have to settle for speculation for much longer. I absolutely can’t wait to form my own Wild Bunch, and face off against other gangs in epic shootouts in the dusty streets and wild saloons of the Old West. Although, this isn’t terribly surprising since I

Red Dead Redemption To Receive Massive Promotional Campaign

There are many comparisons to be made between Rockstar Games’ upcoming western title Red Dead Redemption and the developers’ money-printing Grand Theft Auto series. It’s no wonder then that Rockstar plans to throw an unprecedented amount of support behind the game. Rockstar general manager Neil Stephen recently told MCVUK that not only will the developer be “spending a larger proportion of our TV budget pre-launch than we ever have before,” but Red Dead will be the first game Rockstar will promote on the big screen. “We think the cinematic nature of the game makes it a perfect fit for cinema and we will be executing a nationwide ad campaign targeting the audiences of Robin Hood , Iron Man 2 and Prince of Persia .” There will also be movie theatre posters that will somehow let you download game content via Bluetooth, and Rockstar has also made deals with IGN , Gamespot , YouTube, Microsoft and LoveFilm to give away movie downloads and Xbox Live content. Considering Rockstar sees Red Dead Redemption as the official jumping off point for their “next blockbuster gaming franchise,” it’s no wonder they’re throwing so much ad support behind it. Guess we’ll find out if it pays off next month when the game moseys onto store shelves. Source: MCVUK (via Gamasutra ) Red Dead Redemption – Microsoft – Grand Theft Auto – Game – Rockstar Games

Playstation 3 Game God of War Erotic Ad of the Day

There was a time when I tried to get an ad from Rockstar Games for Grand Theft auto. I was like that game beats up hookers and is based on stealing and being bad and was a perfect fit for this site. They rejected me. In my mind it was going to be my big break, I was going to get the 100,000 dollars they pay all the other sites to advertise, and I was gonna be able to leave my wife, move to the islands and fuck locals while eating coconuts and shit, but instead they fucking rejected me. They told me they weren’t interested in being on my kind of site and that pretty much paved the fucking way for me to never land an ad deal, barely breaking even on the money I do make, cuz hosting the site costs a fucking fortune, not that you care…but I do…and when I see ads for videogames like this God of War bullshit, that is pretty much an animated lesbian orgy, something the virgin loser gamers with no game have already jerked off to a dozen times the last hour, cuz they have build up, I get pretty mad. It’s like Playstation can endorse this shit but not my shit….and the whole thing makes me pretty fucking angry, but since you’re probably a virgin loser gamer with no game, it’s my job to post this for you to fall in love with more inanimate things….cuz real girls are so complicated while computer generated girls are so open minded cuz they are all programmed by other virgin loser gamers with no game, so they know exactly what you want.
