He’s not out of the woods yet… Mendeecees Harris Faces 20 Years For Drug Charges Via Democrat & Chronicle Mendeecees Harris, 33, pleaded not guilty in federal court in Rochester Friday to a drug conspiracy charge. Harris has a key role in the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop. Because of a 2001 drug conviction in Maryland, Harris faces a 20-year mandatory sentence if convicted here. Harris is one of three New York City men accused of roles in a pipeline of heroin and cocaine to the Rochester region. The other two — Ronald Walker, and Harris’ brother, Tyrus Harris — were arrested last year and are jailed awaiting trial. Prosecutors allege the three trafficked more than $2.5 million in drugs between 2005 and August 2012. Walker and Tyrus Harris also have pleaded not guilty. At Friday’s hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Feldman, Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Sherman said he would request that Harris remain jailed without bail. Damn, that might mean a lot of cold nights in Yandy’s bed if Mr. Sherman has his way. The criminal indictment does show that police in August seized more than $1.5 million in cash from safety deposit boxes and homes linked to the alleged conspiracy. Also seized were a 2012 Land Rover and more than $406,000 in jewelry. Authorities are also pushing for the forfeiture of properties in Georgia and Baltimore. Wilson Ramos: Rescued in Venezuela!

Wilson Ramos is safe and sound. The Washington Nationals catcher, who was kidnapped earlier this week at gunpoint in his native Venezuela, was discovered by local authorities yesterday and has reconciled with his family, The Washington Post reports. “It’s a special moment for his family,” Ramos’ agent, Gustavo Mercado, said in a statement to the newspaper. “We’re all happy. We’re grateful.” FBI Agent Chris Voss confirmed the incident took place due to the “money [Ramos] could produce,” while five people have been arrested for the abduction. “I don’t know who those people were,” Ramos said. “I know they’re Colombians by their accent. Three guys grabbed me there in front of my house, they took me to another SUV and from there they took me into the mountains… thanks to God, everything turned out well.” The ballplayer also thanked the police and National Guard commandos who rescued him, saying “the boys did a great job.”

Herman Cain Jokes About Anita Hill on Camera

Presidential hopeful Herman Cain, already facing allegations of sexual harassment from four women, was caught joking about Anita Hill during a campaign stop this week. A college professor, Hill infamously became the poster woman for such claims when she made them 20 years ago about Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas. A Fox News camera caught Cain laughing about Hill during a campaign visit to Kalamazoo, Mich., Thursday, when a supporter brought up the professor’s name. “You hear the latest news today? Anita Hill is going to come …” a man told Cain. “Is she going to endorse me?” Cain joked, as he and the crowd laughed heartily … Herman Cain Anita Hill Joke Herman Cain insisted later that he wasn’t trying to insult Hill. “We walked into this room and … one of my supporters said, ‘Anita Hill was trying to contact you’ and my response was, ‘Is she going to endorse me?'” he said. “He said it in a humorous way. I gave a humorous response.” The Republican continues to fend off allegations that he sexually harassed four women when he was head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Karen Kraushaar allegedly received a settlement to leave the group along with another woman. Sharon Bialek alleges Cain tried to grope her at a later date. Joking about Hill, while essentially harmless, is not likely to help Cain, who some say has been less than forthcoming, shake the story that has dogged him for weeks. How will the sexual harassment allegations impact Cain?

Kris Humphries is preparing for battle. The power forward, who reportedly had been refusing to go through with his divorce from Kim Kardashian, has now hired Lee Hutton, a Minnesota-based attorney who represents a number of pro athletes. But where is Humphries? “He doesn’t want a war. He’s lying low,” a source tells E! News about the free agent, who is still without a job, as the NBA lockout extends into Thanksgiving. A war, meanwhile, is evidently taking place within the Kardashian household. A new report cites major tension between Kim and her siblings , as they are sick of her fake, attention-starved ways. Sister of Nicole Brown Simpson Blasts Kris Jenner as "Pathetic"

In her new memoir, Kris Jenner dedicates a chapter to the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson , writing that O.J’s victim ex-wife actually called Kris the day she died because she wanted to show her friend a box of items that allegedly proved the football great had been abusing her for years. But Denise Brown, Nicole’s sister, has now spoken out and says Jenner is nothing but a pitiful liar. “Kris Jenner is pathetic,” Denise tells The National Enquirer , denying Jenner’s claim that she called Kris the day after Nicole died and asked about this box of evidence. “I had just found out my sister was murdered,” said Brown. “The last thing on my mind was whether or not Nicole showed anyone any pictures she had in a safety deposit box… In fact, I didn’t even know my sister HAD a safety deposit box with pictures of her abuse until the beginning of O.J.’s trial – months after she was murdered.” Denise says she’s “disappointed” that Kris is exploiting her sister’s passing, concluding with a message to this sad, money-starved reality star: “For the past two-and-a-half years, my family has had some relative peace regarding all of this stuff… Please, Kris, don’t profit off of my sister’s horrible death.”
