Miss Universe 2015 Will Be Miss Austria

I know this year’s Miss Universe contest hasn’t even started yet, but after checking out these pictures from the press junket in Miami, I’m already set to crown this year’s winner: Miss Austria . Now I know some of you cynics out there will say there’s no way I can tell that without seeing the show first, but I use a very accurate points system: it involves measuring the size of my pants tent to the millimeter. Trust me, it never fails. » view all 46 photos Photos: WENN.com

Nick Jonas Recalls ‘How To Succeed’ Fan ‘Craziness’

Jonas Brother and co-star Michael Urie, who end their Broadway run Sunday, tell MTV News the fans ‘say some pretty wild things.’ By Jocelyn Vena Nick Jonas Photo: MTV News Nick Jonas will end his run in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” when the Broadway show closes Sunday. The singer, along with his co-star Michael Urie, will no longer play business rivals on the Great White Way, but do continue to hold fond memories of their time in the show. When MTV News caught up with the actors recently, they recalled some of their favorite fan encounters during their tenure in “How to Succeed.” “The craziest fan encounter? The great thing about the fans is that they are polite during the show,” Jonas said. “At the beginning of the show, they have an opportunity get excited, and then throughout the show, they are very polite.” Everyone’s polite — at least, until Jonas got his smooch on. “Occasionally, they’ll have little outbursts of craziness,” he remembered. “It usually comes for me during the kissing moment during the show. They can say some pretty wild things I can hear out of the corner of my ear. It’s fun.” Urie joked, “I actually stand offstage during the kiss and scream things like, ‘Nick, Nick, oh Nick,’ with about that [deep] inflection.” All joking aside, Urie did have some warm, fuzzy encounters with the show’s fans before every performance. “Before the show, it’s fun to come into the theater every night, because there are people waiting. Sometimes there are people camped out waiting that aren’t even there to see the show,” he said. “They’ve already seen the show or they’re seeing the show in the future, and they’ll be like, ‘Hey Michael, good show.’ And they’re very cool and easygoing.” Both Jonas and Urie joined the show in January. Their run was expected to go until July 1, but they’re closing a bit early. With the show ending Sunday, Jonas will now devote more time to recording a new album with his brothers. The Jonas Brothers are currently hard at work on their follow-up to 2009’s Lines, Vines and Trying Times . Have you seen “How to Succeed”? Share your review in the comments below! Kristin Cavallari, Lo Bosworth Call ‘The Hills’ Ending ‘Spectacular’

‘To see it come to and end is always bittersweet,’ original star Lauren Conrad tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Tim Kash Kristin Cavallari Photo: John Shearer/WireImage “The Hills” ended Tuesday night with a wink from the show’s producers, and while it might have been a surreal way to end a show that was grounded in reality for six seasons, the stars of the show enjoyed the mysterious scene final scene . Lo Bosworth, who has said that seeing the show again is like watching “home movies,” had only one way to describe the finale. “The ending, I felt, was spectacular,” she told MTV News. “I think the fans will forever question: Was it fake or was it real? And I don’t think I will be answering that question.” “That day of filming, it was surreal to me, because they wouldn’t tell me what we were filming,” said Brody Jenner, who shared that an ending with Lauren Conrad had been shot as well. “I think the show has always battled with what’s real and what’s fake, and this ending was perfect, because you still don’t know what was real, what was fake, and it’s kind of like L.A., in a sense. I thought it was very clever, and I was happy with it. I was stoked they were ending it with me. I was flattered.” “I mean, I think we both couldn’t have been happier with the ending. We were speechless,” Kristin Cavallari said about the final scene, which saw her get into a waiting car destined for the airport and a plane to Europe — or so we thought. Instead of pulling away, the camera pans out to show the entire production, including crew members and cameramen. With the “fourth wall” dropped in the final moments, what does the show’s original star, Lauren Conrad, think about the show ending after all these years? “I think it’s sad to see something that was so great, to see it come to and end is always bittersweet,” she said. “But I think they had a great run. They went on for so long, and I think it’s nice they wrapped up everybody’s story and it’s a happy ending.” Were you surprised by the way “The Hills” ended? Tell us in the comments! Green Day Contest Winners Rave About Surprise Show

Winners of MTV’s ‘American Idiot’ contest got big surprise at end of musical. By James Montgomery, with reporting by Nick Neofitidis Green Day perform on stage at “American Idiot” on Broadway on Thursday. Photo: MTV News On Thursday night, winners of MTV’s “American Idiot” contest were not only treated to a great show — but a surprise mini concert by Green Day , with the band playing “American Idiot” and “Basket Case,” too. So, all in all, it was a pretty great night. “I think I had heart failure! It was the most amazing experience,” contest winner Fallyn Ruzzi told MTV News following the show. “I mean, the play was great, and then Green Day played songs, too!” Ruzzi was just one of the 300 lucky winners, who flocked to New York’s St. James Theater hours before the performance was even scheduled to begin, waited in line to pick up their tickets to the musical, and then got to witness a post-show performance by Green Day, who took the stage and blasted through “American Idiot” and “Basket Case.” It took most of the audience completely by surprise. “We had heard Green Day weren’t even going to be here,” Ruzzi said. “It was amazing when they came out!” But what did Ruzzi — and other winners — think of the show itself? Well, as might expect, they were blown away by the production. But, like most hard-core Green Day fans, when they first heard the band was taking “Idiot” to Broadway, she had her doubts. “I didn’t like the idea of Green Day coming to Broadway at first — I thought it was a bad idea,” Ruzzi said. “But then I heard the songs from the Berkeley Rep [performances] and I just fell in love with it.” Echoing those sentiments were Ruzzi’s friend — and fellow Green Day enthusiast — Toni Ann Graffigna, who was also skeptical of the album coming to the Great White Way, but, after seeing the show, she’s now firmly a believer. “I wasn’t that crazy about the idea at first, but it’s Green Day, you gotta give it a chance,” she said. “The whole show touched my heart. I would see it every day, if I could. I almost cried … I’d recommend everyone to see it, even if you don’t like Green Day, just come out and see it.” Related Videos Green Day’s ‘American Idiot’ On Broadway Related Artists Green Day

‘The Hills’ Stars Call Final Season ‘Bittersweet’

‘It’s sad! We’ve been together for so long,’ Audrina Patridge says of sixth and final season, debuting April 27. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Kelly Marino Stephanie Pratt and Lo Bosworth Photo: MTV News In the just-debuted “Hills” trailer, fans got a sneak peek at all the highs and lows expected in the show’s final season , debuting April 27. While it might be a surprise to viewers that the show has decided to hang up its hat, the stars anticipated that, like all good things, this too would come to an end. “It’s sad! We’ve been together for so long,” Audrina Patridge told MTV News over the weekend. “I’m going to be 25 this year, so that’s been my life for the last five years. And it’s sad to let go of that, because it’s something that I’ve become so used to, and it’s so easy and natural. But at the same time, it’s nice to graduate, and I’m ready to move on and do the next big thing.” While Kristin Cavallari’s time on the show was considerably shorter than Patridge’s, the show’s new star said it still isn’t easy to say goodbye. “When I found out that this was the last season of ‘The Hills,’ I was kind of expecting it. I wasn’t expecting it before the season actually premiered, though,” she said. “It’s bittersweet. I think it’s kind of time, and everyone’s ready to move on and do other things, but it’s … going to be sad.” Like Cavallari, Lo Bosworth appeared on both “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills” and says that seeing the show come to an end is a bit of a strange experience. “We were, I think, anticipating it was going to come to an end, but it’s sort of surreal, ’cause this has been our lives,” she said. “And to have that change is sort of scary, but we’re all really excited.” Stephanie Pratt thinks now is a good time to end the show, since everyone’s lives are a lot more settled now than when the show started in May 2006. “I called Lo right after I heard just to see if she knew. … I pretty much figured it was the last season,” she said. “We all have really grown up, and we really don’t go to nightclubs every night anymore. We’re just, like, more mature. I mean, we still fight with each other, but it’s the sixth season. I’ve never known a reality show to go as far as ‘The Hills.’ ” What was your reaction when you found out “The Hills” was ending? Tell us in the comments! “The Hills: Final Season” premieres April 27 at 10 p.m. ET/PT followed by “The City” at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Related Videos ‘The Hills’ Final Season Trailer Premiere
