Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and husband Prince William arrived in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon for the United States leg of their North American tour. After their plane touched down at Los Angeles International Airport on a flight from Canada shortly before 4 p.m., the royal newlyweds walked down the staircase and Kate stepped foot for the first time in the States. Suge Knight Arrested For Assault with a Deadly Weapon as Per Usual

Marion “Suge” Knight was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, involving a firearm. He was pulled over and taken into custody early this morning. He was also taken into custody for driving on a suspended license. Knight is still in custody and bail is set at $65,000 … pretty small amount for Suge. Authorities said that Knight was arrested in connection to an alleged crime that occurred shortly before his arrest … but they wouldn’t elaborate further. A witness in the incident told police that the rap executive pointed a gun at another car this morning – while sitting in the driver’s seat of his own SUV. No word if the target was Akon or Yukmouth . GANGSTA : Suge Knight’s 23,869th arrest sounds pretty violent. Dude has a mean streak, though we would too if our mom named us Marion. Please don’t murder us . Reports say after cops received the information, officers located Suge’s car in the Los Angeles area and initiated a “high risk stop” – i.e. guns were drawn. Officers drew their firearms and ordered Suge – and two women – out of the vehicle.

Claudia Schiffer Gave Birth To New Baby Girl

One of world’s most successful model Claudia Schiffer gave birth to her third child with film producer Matthew Vaughn. A baby girl was birthed Portland Hospital in London last Friday. The couple has not yet revealed the baby’s name yet. Schiffer and Vaughn are proud parents and this newly born cherub joins siblings Caspar Matthew and Clementine. “I am much  more self-confident today,” Schiffer said in an interview with Welt am Sonntag shortly before giving birth, “because of my children and my husband. I  know what I am doing, what I want [and] I am in control of myself.” The German supermodel has recently posed nude and hugely pregnan in German Vogue magazine for its June 2010 edition. (Photo source: wikileaks.org) The Web site Wikileaks.org revealed a graphic video on Monday showing U.S. forces firing repeatedly on people along a Baghdad street last July 12, 2007. This video shows military personnel aboard the Apaches indicating they spot the suspects toting several AK-47s and several RPG’s. But WikiLeaks contends that the Reuters photographers were only carrying cameras, which the military mistook for weapons. According to WikiLeaks.org, the attack victims included Reuters photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen, 22, and his assistant and driver Saeed Chmagh, 40.
