Nicki Minaj is doing what she does best in the latest issue of V Magazine: Popping her rear end. Keeping it real. First, in a spread snapped by photographer Mario Testino, the female rapper shows off her rather impressive asset: Then, she tells the publication about why her lyrics are sometimes considered controversial. “I always push the envelope because I’m Nicki Minaj. I have to,” she says. “No matter who I’m on a song with, I feel like I have to say at least one thing that no one else is willing to say. “Whether it’s Madonna or [ Britney Spears ] or Beyoncé, they always tell me, ‘YES. Be yourself. Talk your s–t.” Of course, as a result, plenty of s–t has been talked about Minaj by her critics. But this doesn’t mean Nicki doesn’t see herself as a role model. “I love women who take control, who set standards, and who believe in themselves enough to lead the way in terms of their career. I’ve done that. When I win and when I lose, I take ownership of it, because I really am in charge of what I do. “There are a lot of strong male rappers, who’ve influenced me a great deal in terms of my skill, my flow, and my business-savvy side. But at the end of the day, I still want to inspire women.” This issue of V hits newsstands on November 13, while the new Nicki Minaj album , “The Pinkprint”, comes out on November 24. “You can expect a great intro piece that really walks you through where my mind has been the past two years, and there’s a strong love and relationship section that has been lacking lately on the radio,” she says of the CD. “It’s not the glossy stuff, but the nitty-gritty, the fights, the heartbreaking things that people don’t really touch on in rap. And for my core, I have the hard s–t. Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have welcomed their first child together, and their baby daughter has been given a name fit for a Disney princess … Briar Rose! The name is an obvious homage to Sleeping Beauty , as it was the alias given to the lovely Princess Aurora to protect her from Maleficent’s evil curse. Bilson and Christensen, 33, “are so excited,” an insider says, and it sounds like their families and friends are too. “Everyone is beyond thrilled for them.” The O.C. alum was the guest of honor at a baby shower on August 31, featuring family, former classmates, and stars like Jamie King and Natalie Portman. Instead of gifts, attendees brought a birth bead to be made into a necklace for her “use the beads for strength during labor,” a source said at the time. Bilson and Christensen first met on set of the 2008 film Jumper and got engaged in December 2008. They quietly called off their engagement in 2010. Reconciling three months later, the two have been together and inseparable ever since, and enjoyed a month-long babymoon in Barbados in June. Congratulations to the new parents! Disney announced this week that it has teamed with Alfred Angelo Bridal to create a gown based on the highest-grossing animated movie of all-time. The company even posted a photo via Instagram, captioning the post: “The rumors are true- meet “Elsa”, our Frozen-inspired wedding gown with @AlfredAngeloBridal! #Disney #Frozen #wedding #dress.” Frozen, of course, continues to be everywhere these days. They’re making it into a movie, and Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are playing the moms. My dream role would be the daughter. I think they’re shooting it while I’m doing The Vampire Diaries , but that’s the kind of thing I love. Angelina Jolie’s adorable daughter Vivienne will soon make her film debut alongside her famous mother in Maleficent , according to reports. The four-year-old will have a small role in the project, a re-telling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty from the point of view of her horned, evil nemesis. Vivienne will play a younger version of Princess Aurora, played by Elle Fanning. Walt Disney studios confirmed the casting of Viv this week.
