Source: Bambu Productions / Getty Anti-Vax Mom Hands Out Chickenpox Lollipops For Halloween A mother who is a strong advocate for anti-vaccination took to social media this week to let everyone know about her decision to give out tainted lollipops this Halloween . The Australian woman–who identifies herself online as Sarah Walker RN–posted in the private Facebook group “Stop Mandatory Vaccination,” saying that her son contracted chickenpox and she planned to “help” other children by spreading the virus through candy. “So my beautiful son [redacted] has the chickenpox at the moment and we’ve both decided to help others with natural immunity this Halloween!” she wrote. “We have the packaging open and closing down pat and can’t wait to help others in our community.” What….the f***? Walker’s message ended up making it out of the anti-vax community and a screenshot and shared on Light for Riley , a page dedicated to protecting “babies & families from vaccine-preventable diseases” in honor of Riley Hughes, a baby boy who died from whooping cough. Though the mother claims to be a registered nurse at the “Royal Children’s Hospital, Brisbane” on her Facebook page, Queensland Health confirmed that she was never employed at any of its medical facilities. After getting negative responses to her chickenpox plan, Walker took to Facebook once again to double down on her plan, despite backlash online. “Dear internet trolls,” she wrote. “You think you’re right by judging me and my trying to report me and get me fired. I don’t care. The health and wellbeing of my baby is far more valuable than any job…You say I’m vile and gross like I have done something that hundreds of thousands of parents haven’t already done. How many times do you see children dropped off to day care or school when they’re clearly sick and contagious? Exactly!” She continued, “I’m offering life long immunity for the price of a couple of blisters and a few days off school.” Luckily, whether or not Walker actually went ahead with her weird scheme, Queensland Health told News.com.au that the risk of chickenpox transmission from such lollipops would be extremely low, since the virus does not survive long on surfaces. But, if she were to be found guilty of food tampering, or making false claims to do so, she could be facing serious prison time.

Source: Alex Trautwig / Getty Reports Show Trump’s Border Wall Isn’t Working According to The Washington Post , mexican drug dealers have repeatedly cut holes all up and through Trump’s border wall by using commercially available power tools, opening gaps large enough for people and drug loads to pass through. U.S. agents have reportedly confirmed “multiple breaches” to sections of the wall. Smugglers are easily using cheap saws to cut holes in the base of the wall and then are able to push the 18- to 30-feet tall posts to the side, making it possible for people and contraband to go through the structure. Officials are dumbfounded after Trump proclaimed the wall “virtually impenetrable”. But smugglers are finding ways to easily get through, whether it be climbing lower sections with makeshift ladders or by cutting holes in weak points of the structures.

Source: Alex Wong / Alex Wong Former Starbucks Manager Files Discrimination Suit After Firing Shannon Phillips managed various Starbucks locations in four different states over the course of 13 years, but after being fired, she’s filed a lawsuit against the coffee chain. According to reports from The Daily Beast , the white former employee is claiming that she was the victim of racial discrimination when she was terminated in wake of the wrongful arrest of two black men at a Philadelphia store last year. “Weeks after the arrests and surrounding media coverage, [Starbucks] took steps to punish white employees who had not been involved in the arrests, but who work in and around the city of Philadelphia, in an effort to convince the community that it had properly responded to the incident,” the lawsuit states. The suit is referencing the highly publicized incident from April 2018, where Rashon Nelson and Donte Robinson ended up being cuffed and escorted out by police officers for sitting inside the Starbucks as they waited on a work associate to arrive. At the time, the company responded by re-evaluating how their employees deal with customers supported by company-wide racial bias training. Now, Phillips alleges that Starbucks was internally targeting its white employees–including her–after the mishap. According to the suit, said “discrimination” allegedly started about a month after the arrests, when Phillips was forced to suspend a “white employee (who had not had any involvement in the arrests)” for “an allegation of discriminatory conduct” which she says wasn’t true. Phillips was allegedly told in a meeting with her supervisors that the manager she was tasked with suspending had been paying non-white employees less than those who are white–but she disputed the claim, stating that store managers cannot determine salaries. Phillips ended up being fired the next day because “the situation [was] not recoverable,” claiming that the excuse was a “pre-text for race discrimination.” Shannon Phillips is seeking compensatory and punitive damages over the “embarrassment, humiliation, loss of self-esteem, mental anguish, and loss of life’s pleasures.” As for Starbucks, the company has denied these claims.

Source: Justin Sullivan / Getty Johnson & Johnson Recalls Bottles Of Its Signature Product After Finding Trace Amounts of Asbestos According to CBS , Johnson & Johnson recalled 33,000 bottles of baby powder after federal regulators found trace amounts of asbestos in a single bottle purchased online. The recall reportedly only pertains to lot number “22318RB.” A spokesman added that the company is still gathering information and investigating the issue. This recall comes on the heels of several lawsuits the company is facing. Recently, the company agreed to pay nearly $117 million to settle litigation over its marketing of trans-vaginal surgical mesh devices. Last week, a Philadelphia jury awarded $8 billion in punitive damages against J&J after their drug was linked to the abnormal growth of female breast tissue in boys.

Giunta / Getty Tamron Hall Denies Selling Cocaine After Producers Scrub Her Confession From The Show According to Daily Mail , ABC producers had to axe a portion of Tamron Hall ‘s talk show after she confessed to viewers she used to ‘facilitate’ selling cocaine when she was a teenager. Audience members were blown away during Tuesday’s taping when she reportedly admitted to ‘facilitating’ the sale of the drug with her college boyfriend. Production then had to scramble to cut it from the pre-recorded program. Hall released a statement: “I never dealt drugs” and said that a segment of her show was edited out due to “legal reasons. During an interview with Prison Rights Advocate Topeka Sam, I shared a story about a bad situation I got myself into when I was 19. I never dealt drugs,” said Hall. I am now nearly 50 years old and was reflecting on a bad judgement call that could have turned worse,” the talk show host explained. “I say but for the grace of God, there go I. “It was part of an open and honest conversation about women, incarceration and mistakes made,” she continued. “For legal reasons a portion of that segment was edited from the show. I hope my show can be a forum for sharing stories without shame or judgement — including a conversation we’re having Friday on opioid addiction.” Hall’s new ABC talk show, Tamron Hall , premiered last month, marking the first time that she returned to daytime television after leaving Today two years ago.

Many fans are still confused about what his Sunday Service actually is, comparing it to some weird cult. Plus, the fact that Ye just purchased an entire city in Wyoming doesn’t help his case. Everything surrounding Kanye has been questionable since he sported the red MAGA hat , then wore it again in the presence of the weirdo in office, referring to him as a father figure all while his biological father is 100% alive and well. Even so, it seems like his Trump supporter antics Kanye have’t helped him very much in the legal department. While his wife Kim Kardashian is getting prisoners freed left and right, the US Trademark Office is handing Kanye a very fat “L”. TMZ Reports that Kanye West can’t own the term for his merchandise and other purposes because someone else already owns it. Ye applied for exclusive ownership of the mark, “Sunday Service,” to slap it on clothing, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and tops. But, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office shut him down because, basically … someone’s already working that corner!!! Kanye started selling “Sunday Service” branded merchandise in April, during his Coachella weekend two Sunday Service debut performance, but applied for the trademark later on in July. Makes you wonder if the current owner got smart and applied for that trademark right after Coachella to seize the moment. Yeezy can still fight to appeal the decision, but he probably won’t come out victorious. Whoever dropped the ball on this is probably enduring the coldest Kanye rant of all time as we speak. The ladies made headlines years back after giving birth to children by Lil Wayne just 3 months apart. Nivea, who was engaged to Wayne at the time says at first she didn’t mind getting back into a relationship with Weezy, knowing Lauren was expecting. “When we reconnected, I had three [kids],” Nivea said. “I wasn’t pregnant. That’s not the reason he proposed to me or anything like that. I took it for, ‘You accepted mine.’ If this occurred before us and we’re just now getting back to it, why wouldn’t I accept that son if you’re telling me you want to marry me? So that was that.” Unfortunately, their engagement fizzled and Nivea actual credits Lauren for helping her get through a touch time. Nivea on connecting with Lauren and forming a friendship: “We called each other to get information because she and I were both previous relationships of his in our younger years as well. But it was our first time ever talking. We talked about all kinds of stuff from the past and in that we connected as friends. It’s still a testament to the type of man he is because all of his baby mothers, we’re all cool with each other. We get now that the children are here, damn it! They’re here now.
