Stars and couples clashed over each other's outlandish behavior. Part 2 was teased and it looks like it may be even more bonkers than Part 1. The 2019 Golden Globes were held on Sunday night, and like most Americans, you were probably either unaware the ceremony was taking place at all, or your response was an apathetic shrug and a vague curiosity about what else is on. But apparently for Lady Gaga, the Globes were like the Super Bowl, the Game of Thrones series finale, and a VFW meat raffle all rolled into one: As you’re probably aware, Gaga starred in the 37th remake of A Star Is Born this year. The film constituted a major step forward in her career, as — having long ago conquered the music realm — she now had an opportunity join the ranks of one-name icons like Cher and Madonna who went on to stake their claims in the world of prestige cinema. A big part of announcing yourself to the world as a legitimate acting talent, of course, is making a splash during award season. And in that respect, Gaga stumbled out of the gate in her race toward the Oscars. The pop icon didn’t leave last night’s ceremony empty-handed, mind you. She took home the prize for best original song for “Shallow.” But she’s won a music Globe in the past. This year, Gaga had her eyes on a different prize — the best actress in a motion picture drama award that wound up going to Glenn Close for her performance in The Wife. “She was flipping the f–k out afterwards and literally in tears,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online. “She had her acceptance speech ready and written and rehearsed and was certain that she was going to come home with several awards.” Apparently, the singer’s team led her to the mistaken belief that the category was a lock in her favor. “Gaga was asked countless times what she was going to do when she wins and had it in her head that this was in the bag,” says the insider. “When she lost she could hardly contain her tears. She was not happy at all and had to take a breather after to contain herself. She never thought she would lose to Glenn Close!” Obviously, there’s no shame in losing to a legend like Glenn Close, but Gaga was under the impression that the Globes would solidify her place as a major actress. Instead, the HFPA simply confirmed once again that she’s a major musical talent — a fact that was already universally accepted. “She is grateful, obviously, for ‘Shallow’ taking home the award, but she was really certain that the movie would take home a bunch more,” says the insider. It would be a massive understatement to say that Kim Zolciak has been having a rough time lately. Kim has suffered one PR crisis after another in recent months, and it doesn’t look as though her troubles will be letting up anytime soon. Most of the drama has centered around Kim’s parenting skills (or lack thereof). First, she was criticized for posting bikini photos while her son was in the hospital recovering from a nasty dog bite. Shortly thereafter, critics claimed that Zolciak “pimped” her daughter , Brielle Biermann, on social media, offering sexual favors in exchange for a chance to meet John Legend. Kim claimed she was joking, and she probably was, but still … not a good look. Like we said, it’s been a rough few weeks for the reality star, and now it looks as though her finances are in as much a state of upheaval as her home life. Rumors that Zolciak is broke have been circulating for quite some time now, but over the weekend, the 39-year-old seemed to basically confirm that she’s struggling with an unsexpected Instagram post: That’s Kim’s boat. She posted the above photo of it in hopes that one of her fans would take it off for her hands for the princely sum of $170,000. “Serious inquiries only!!” Kim captioned the photo. “FOR SALE KILLER DEAL. Boat and trailer $170k email elitesales07@gmail.com LINK IN MY BIO!” The post might not be such a red flag on its own, but appearing as it does amidst rumors that Kim is in a full-blown financial panic, it seems to indicate that the problem is even worse than we initially thought. Kim knew how such an advertisement would be perceived, and it seems she wouldn’t have posted it unless she was desperate. Kim’s huaband, Kroy Biermann, was earning big bucks as an NFL player, but his career seems to have prematurely come to an end. With six kids and a lavish lifestyle to support, it looks as though Kim is now struggling to make ends meet. Zolciak recently returned to The Real Housewives of Atlanta after vowing she never would. She later revealed that it was the promise of a paycheck that lured her back. “Everything has a price,” Kim said in a recent interview. “I’m just giving it to you straight. Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. When we heard that Kenya Moore has to choose between her new husband and her job , we figured that it was a no-brainer. Being on The Real Housewives of Atlanta brings money and fame, while marrying brings statistically shorter life expectancies for women. But Kenya is clearly experiencing that “love” emotion when it comes to Marc Daly. That’s been clear from the get-go. In fact, Kenya’s clearly so enamored that she’s showing him off on Instagram. Ever since Kenya Moore’s secret wedding , we’ve been itching to learn more about Marc Daly. But, famously, he’s reluctant to appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta . (And by “reluctant,” we mean adamant, because it doesn’t sound like he’s budging even though it could cost Kenya Moore her job ) Reportedly, Marc has an issue with the negative way that he says that black men are portrayed on the series. He didn’t get specific, but we think that he joins others who have pointed out that RHOA portrays black men as lacking while showing white men as providers and desirable partners. (There are a lot of thoughtful critiques of how reality television portrays black people, and the trends are not pretty) We’d point out that, even as much control as producers and editors have, he might change that perceived portrayal by appearing on the show. Also, from day one we were concerned that Kenya Moore could get kicked off of the show over having a secret wedding. After all, it kind of spoils the image of “reality television” when something as big as a wedding happens off-screen. But Marc seems unwilling to step in front of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cameras. He’s clearly not universally camera-shy, though. Because look what popped up on Kenya Moore’s Instagram page on Sunday: Now, we might not know as much as we’d like about Marc Daly. But that is a man who can really fill out a shirt. And we totally get why Kenya is so besotted. (Seriously, Kenya Moore praises Marc Daly a lot) And we’re so happy for her that she’s found love. Finally . After 46 years . But we do question if Marc, or love itself, could be worth sacrificing her reality TV career. But maybe it’s unfair to put all of that pressure (or blame) on Marc. After all, The Real Housewives of Atlanta hired Kenya. If she’s too boring to put on television, that’s probably on her. If the show’s producers and editors can’t find a way to include her on the series, that sounds like it’s their problem. In neither case does Marc, who never signed up for the show to begin with, sound like the bad guy. And while Kenya’s been slow to open up about him, it sounds like Marc is a real good guy. The whole thing is almost enough to make you believe in romantic love, right? Almost . We really do hope that all of the parties involved can reach some sort of resolution soon. Whatever that might mean. (And there are some rumors floating around that she’s still negotiating, so maybe this story will have an all-around happy ending) It looks like, if push comes to shove, Kenya will choose love, and that’s all well and good. Last week, we learned that Ben Affleck is dating Lindsay Shookus , a 37-year-old Saturday Night Live producer, whom he reportedly met while rehearsing an appearance on the show. Affleck just finalized his divorce from Jennifer Garner in April, but the couple has been separated since 2015. So surely there’s no great scandal in Ben moving on and dating someone new at this point, right? Ha! One insider tells Radar Online that Ben and Lindsay hit it off from the first time they met, and “There was an immediate spark,” says a source close to the situation. “Ben and Lindsay flirted and stayed in touch through Ben’s appearances on SNL.” Apparently, Affleck and Shookus weren’t great at keeping things on the down-low, and Jen found out about the affair after realizing that Ben had made several extravagant jewelry purchases. “Jen met face-to-face with Lindsay and demanded she return the jewelry,” the source revealed. “Lindsay says she’d return it, but only if Ben asked for it back.” Yes, the insider claims there was an actual face-to-face confrontation between Garner and Shookus. Yes, Demi Moore was rushed to the hospital last week, but multiple sources now report that the star’s problems have been obvious to friends for a long time now. According to the latest issue of Us Weekly , friends have been concerned for months over Moore’s drug use and self-destructive behavior, most of which stemmed from Ashton Kucher’s public affair with Sara Leal. “She’s been really down, and she’s surrounding herself with young people to make her feel better,” said an insider, adding that Demi has been intent on staying as thin as possible for years. “She’s been mixing pills and Red Bulls, among other things.” It’s been this desire to remain young, sources claim, that’s led to Demi hanging out so often with daughter Rumer Willis … and which also allegedly led to an incident in L.A.’s Venice neighborhood a few weeks back when she set her sights on Zac Efron . She “tracked down” the former High School Musical star at a shindig, supposedly, and “seemed out of her mind at this party,” an onlooker says. Efron, of course, is 24. He was two years old when Ghost came out.
