The actress – who was actually involved in a nude photo scandal years ago and who now stars in the raunchy Spring Breakers – has teamed with girl group YLA and released a 30-second tease of their recently recorded single, “$$$ex.” “We just wanted to dance and get crazy,” Hudgens wrote on Tumblr. “You don’t have to go to Spring Break, you can bring Spring Break to youuu! I guess part of the Vanessa Hudgens contract with Spring Breakers was that she’d show her little pudgy body naked, even though she’s been naked in pictures before, if they let her have the theme song, that turns out to be a huge pile of shit, not that you’d expect anything more from a low level, Disney High School Musical star, that grew up so disconnected from what is good, that all she knows is brought to her by executives with contracts in hand. So the Spring Breakers aren’t in the media enough the last 6 months. From hired paparazzi on set, to magazines and controversy over Disney sluts gone wild, having threesomes and getting naked like it was their cell phone when they were 17 and dating a gay dude. And why not have me buy into the shit, as an excuse to post the amazing clip from the OG spring breakers movie Harmony Korine drew inspiration from in making this movie, what will be his biggest commercial success…despite his whole pretending he’s an artist bullshit angle… Here’s the story from I don’t even know where “They sent me a clip of this girl walking across the room with three or four Coke cans on her ass, and we cast her, based on that video,” “In his entourage, everybody smokes weed from the beginning of the day to the end,” explained Korine. “So we’re inside this house in St. Petersburg, and the fucking weed smoke was so insane and Gucci was basically catatonic. Spring Breakers fared fairly well in a limited box office release last week. And the movie so far has generated a decent amount of attention because, well, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens get into a threesome. But director Harmony Korine has given fans another reason to go see this raunchy film: James Franco’s portrayal of a drug dealer named “Alien.” “I spent a year just sending him images and talking to him, designing the character,” Korine told Movie Fanatic of working with the actor on the role. “I never saw him do it. He didn’t want to rehearse. When he put in the cornrows and the gold teeth and I heard the accent… I was like ‘whoa.’ He was a maniac.” We presume he means that in the most flattering way possible. It’s Thursday and Oz The Great and Powerful has topped $300 million worldwide at box office, according to Deadline . So, the Franco File is going to celebrate with a clip of what is arguably the best part of the movie: the black-and-white pre-CGI opening credits sequence. Alas, there’s no footage of our hero, the artist James Franco half-assing it through the Emerald City, as David Edelstein might put it , or yelling “Look at this shit!” over and over at the Alamo Drafthouse. But his name is prominently displayed in old-school fashion right at the beginning of this thing, with lots of hypno-wheels spinning in the background — which is exactly how we think of James. Enjoy.
