People magazine reports that the “Get Him to the Greek” star got into a “tussle” with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport and the paparazzo then bizarrely took it upon himself to place the actor under arrest. Airport police were called to the scene after a “report of a battery involving a celebrity and a commercial photographer,” and the alleged victim made a “private person’s arrest,” according to a police statement. The funnyman married his longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, on Saturday at his Beverly Hills home. People magazine reports that 120 guests, including Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington and fellow comedian Eddie Murphy, watched the pair swap vows. The couple’s daughters served as flower girls and guests celebrated the nuptials under a tent in Lawrence’s backyard. In addition to getting married, Lawrence has been mulling a different kind of pairing on the big screen. The star revealed to MTV News earlier this year that he might team up with Will Smith for another installment of the action-packed “Bad Boys” series. “I got Big Willie to come down and see me about the movie. I felt special,” Lawrence told MTV News in April. “Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like ‘Bad Boys,’ you have to take notice. I met with [director] Michael Bay, and he said he’s onboard too — so it’s real.” Lawrence said the decision to bring the buddy-cop series back to theaters is in the hands of a Hollywood bigwig. “We’re just waiting on [producer] Jerry Bruckheimer to let us know when it’s really real.” In an interview with MTV News the following month, Bruckheimer seemed open to the idea of a Mike Lowery-Marcus Burnett reunion. “We’re talking about it,” Bruckheimer said. “Will Smith came up with a terrific idea for a screenplay, and we’ve been working on a script, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed.”

Megan Fox Engaged To Brian Austin Green, Rep Confirms

By Jocelyn Vena Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox Photo: Steve Granitz/ Getty Images It seems that Brian Austin Green put a ring on it: A rep for Megan Fox confirmed to MTV News on Wednesday (June 16) that the “Jonah Hex” actress is officially engaged to the former “90210” star. The couple were engaged once before but called it off in February of last year. The news of their engagement was first reported Wednesday by UsMagazine.com . The magazine reported that Green popped the question on June 1 while the pair was vacationing in Hawaii, but a source said that in the excitement of the proposal, the two lost the ring. According to the source, the 2-carat ring, which the pair chose together, is reportedly still missing. “I saw her jumping up and down,” a witness said about the proposal, which reportedly took place at the Four Seasons Hualalai hotel in Hawaii. “Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand.” Another eyewitness added, “Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for it. No one found it.” Fox and Green (the latter of whom has a son, Kassius Lijah, from a previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil), first began dating in 2004, despite a 12-year age difference. Fox has been vocal about her preference for older men . “Boys in their 20s are a waste of time,” she explained to Elle. “They have nothing to offer conversationally. They’re immature. I feel like I have a better shot with someone in his 30s.” In the same interview, Fox added that it was Green’s maturity that makes him attractive to her. “He’s a man. He has an ego. He went through [fame] already and he doesn’t want it back — it was horrible,” Fox said. “So he has sympathy. Kristen Stewart To Shoot ‘On The Road’ In August

The 20-year-old actress is about to jump into globe-trotting publicity mode as the June 30 release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” draws near. Now, her August is fully booked as well: KStew is set to being filming “On the Road” early that month in Montreal. According to the Montreal Gazette, the film will begin shooting on August 2 in Quebec’s largest city. Producers have already set up an office at Cite du Cinema, the city’s largest film production facility. After filming there for most of August, the shoot will shift to New Orleans for a month, then head to Mexico for a few weeks and finally return to Montreal before wrapping. Adapted from the iconic 1957 Beat generation novel by Jack Kerouac, “On the Road” stars Garrett Hedlund (“Tron Legacy”) as Dean Moriarty, the disaffected drifter at the center of the story. Stewart will play Marylou, Dean’s wife. Filling out the rest of the cast are Kirsten Dunst and British actor Sam Riley (“Control”). Francis Ford Coppola is producing, and Walter Salles (“The Motorcycle Diaries”) will direct. “I am very much attached to a movie that has been trying to get made forever,” Stewart said earlier this month. “Not that this is going to help it, but maybe I can just brag a little bit. I am super excited about it, too. I am about to play Marylou in ‘On the Road.’ So that’s a big deal.” The shoot should end well in advance of the start of “Breaking Dawn” filming this fall. Lovato, appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Monday night, said she was tired after going to see a Maylene and the Sons of Disaster concert the previous night. When asked if boyfriend Joe shared her fondness for “hard-core Southern rock metal band,” Lovato said, “No, we’ve talked about it. … I played it for him and he’s like, ‘Whoa that’s crazy.’ ” While they might not agree on what kind of music to listen to (Jonas has admitted to being a big fan of indie rock band Vampire Weekend ), not surprisingly, they haven’t even broached the subject of starting a family. “You know, it’s a little early to talk about that,” Lovato told Kimmel. All joking aside, the couple will appear on “American Idol” this week, where they will sing their duet, “Make a Wave,” from the new Disneynature flick “Oceans.” (Jonas appeared on “Idol” earlier this season as a guest judge .) “Yes we’re doing a duet. I’m afraid of Simon, so I’m good [about not being judged by him while on the show]. … The song’s coming out and it’s great,” she explained. “It’s not about being in love. It’s whatever you interpret it to be.” Lovato currently stars on the Disney series “Sonny With a Chance,” but she got her big start in entertainment alongside a certain big purple dinosaur. “I was on the ‘Barney’ show for about two seasons. Mariah Carey’s Remix Album Canceled

Singer is ‘back in the studio working on some new surprises,’ rep says. By James Montgomery Mariah Carey Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage Mariah Carey’s planned remix album of her recent Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel — called Angels Advocate — apparently has been scrapped in favor of what her reps are calling “some new surprises.” The album had been scheduled for a March 30 release, but earlier this week, Carey fansite Mariah Daily Journal cited a management representative as saying the album will not be released. “We are looking to go possibly to another studio album or Christmas album. The decision hasn’t been totally made yet. It’s a creative process that cannot be rushed,” the rep reportedly said. On Monday, a spokesperson for Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, did not directly confirm that the album had been canceled but said, “We’ve released a few of Mariah’s hot remixes on iTunes and Mariah’s back in the studio working on some new surprises.” Two tracks slated for the album — “Angels Cry” (featuring Ne-Yo) and “Up Out My Face” (featuring Nicki Minaj) — are currently available on the iTunes Store. The IDJ spokesperson did not elaborate on what the “new surprises” might be, and did not specifically mention plans for a Carey Christmas album. Her last foray into the genre, 1994’s Merry Christmas, was a massive success, and spawned the instant classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” a song which continues to receive Holiday airplay to this day.
