Brett Rossi Overdose Was Just a Bad Reaction to Prescription Meds, Source Claims

Yesterday, we learned that porn actress  Brett Rossi was hospitalized  after overdosing on an unspecified drug.  Today, an anonymous friend of Rossi’s has stepped forward to claim that Rossi – who also goes by the name Scottine Sheen – simply had a bad reaction to a new medication prescribed by her doctor. “Her hospital stay was due to an adverse reaction to a newly prescribed medication,” the source tells Us Weekly. “The rumors that she had her stomach pumped due to an overdose are completely false. Scottine has always been an advocate for living a healthy, sober lifestyle and has never had a history of substance abuse in her past.” The insider adds that Rossi will not be making a statement about the incident any time soon, and has asked that the media respect her privacy. Rossi got engaged to Sheen back in February. However, despite several rumors that the couple has quietly eloped, Sheen and Rossi broke up last month. It was initially reported that the breakup was amicable and mutual, but yesterday, several outlets reported that Rossi had overdosed because she was distraught about losing Sheen. As much as I hate lingerie campaign pictures because I find them fucking boring…every once in a while I get semi impressed…I mean impressed isn’t really the right word…but I am so jaded when it comes to this shit…I’ve been doing it for 30,000 fucking posts…over 10 years…it’s like eventually all the girls, all the photographers, all the brands, all the concepts all blend into one giant pile of irrelevant bullshit that doesn’t matter in the overall picture of the state of the world. It’s not newsworthy, it doesn’t affect our lives, it’s just some nonsense to help sell some other assholes panties for a lot of money… But today, this Emma Stern Nielsen, a model I’ve followed on instagram but didn’t know I followed on instagram, in a campaign for some company called Triumph, that hired a Vogue photographer named Ellen Von Unwerth, who is knows for being fucking awesome at taking semi erotic fashion pics, brought a fucking win… It’s like this Emma Stern Nielsen is the new apple of my eye, object of my desire, sure I’ll forget her in 3 minutes, but right now, all I want to do is suffacte on her face as she rides me like a Mechanical bull… She’s good.

REPORT: Justin Bieber Hooked on Drugs, In Need of Rehab

According to a new report, Justin Bieber may not simply be a spoiled, entitled, havoc-creating celebrity who throws eggs at his neighbor’s home purely out of ego. He may have a drug problem. Justin Bieber Scandal Rewind Well-connected insider tell TMZ that Bieber has serious substance abuse issues. He allegedly uses sizzurp – a mix of codein, promethazine, Sprite and a Jolly Rancher on a frequent basis. This substance, popular in the hip hop world, has been known to cause seizures. But that’s not all. Bieber also pops prescription pills, such as Xanax, and regularly gets drunk and smokes marijuana. How bad are these problems? Those close to the artist have been pushing for him to attend rehab, though it doesn’t appear as if Justin is listening. A few days ago, good friend Lil Za was arrested for drug possession (likely Molly, a form of Ecstasy) and some believe Bieber paid off his pal to take the fall for him. Bieber has remained silence ever since a video surfaced that appeared to verify he egged his neighbor’s home. Police subsequently raided Justin’s residence and are going through possible evidence that links him to the crime. He may face felony vandalism charges.

Kris Jenner Supports Khloe Kardashian: She’s Strong, A Blessing

Khloe Kardashian may now be single. But she’s far from alone. Days after her daughter filed for divorce from Lamar Odom , Kris Jenner has talked to E! and expressed nothing but support for Khloe in this time of need. “Khloe really is so great. She’s strong,” Jenner says . “The good news is that she’s busy… she’s got such a big heart but she also is very sensitive. She’s got that tougher exterior and sensitive inside, but she’s good. She’s got all of us all around her.” Earlier in the week, Lamar Odom’s daughter also spoke on her dad’s split from the reality star – though she didn’t really seem to care on bit about it. Jenner, though, referred to Khloe as “a gift” and “one of my biggest blessings” and added that the break up with Odom won’t be easy, but it was for the best. “I think that when you have a tough decision to make and you finally make it, it’s always a relief to come through that process, but it is a process,” Kris noted. “So we’ll see.” Khloe Kardashian Slammed By Lamar Odom’s Daughter Kardashian and Odom had not been living together since June. The latter’s substance abuse problem has been well documented and he has even admitted to cheating on his wife. Still, an insider tells E! that Lamar is “deeply saddened” that his marriage was over, even if he wasn’t shocked by the divorce filing. “He knew it was coming and it was only a matter of time,” this source says. “He felt like he gave his all to try and save the marriage, but ultimately he wasn’t able to.”

Oscar De La Hoya: Back in Rehab For Substance Abuse

Oscar De La Hoya has checked into rehab facility as he continues to fight his substance abuse, the former boxing champion confirmed in a statement. The move comes on the eve of the biggest fight of the year for his promotion company Saturday night, when Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes on Canelo Alvarez. “I will not be at the fight this Saturday to cheer Canelo to victory since I have voluntarily admitted myself into a treatment facility,” De La Hoya said Tuesday. The fighter added that “I explained this to Canelo and he understood that my health and long term recovery from my disease must come first.” The 40-year-old Oscar De La Hoya first admitted two years ago that he was an alcoholic and drug user and had been in treatment for those problems . He said just last month that he sometimes attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings up to six days a week, but had slipped at times in his treatment. “The fight life, that was easy,” he said. “This is a battle I have every day.” De La Hoya, a.k.a. “The Golden Boy,” is a partner in Golden Boy Promotions, which promotes Alvarez and is promoting the fight against Mayweather. He has appeared several times on Showtime’s All Access show cheering on Alvarez in what is expected to be one of the most memorable fights in history. De La Hoya won world titles in six classes and an Olympic gold medal in 1992. He retired in 2008 after being stopped by Manny Pacquiao in his last fight. We wish him nothing but the best in his efforts to get/stay healthy.

J.R. just can’t keep his nose clean… J.R. Smith Suspended For 5 Games For Violating NBA Substance Abuse Policy Via ESPN Knicks guard J.R. Smith has been suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program, the league announced Friday. Smith is recovering from offseason knee surgery and might not be ready for the beginning of the regular season. The NBA says Smith’s suspension will begin with the first game of the season for which he is eligible and physically able to play. The Knicks re-signed Smith in July to a three-year contract worth approximately $18 million with a player option for the third year. Shortly after he re-signed, Smith underwent patellar tendon surgery and an arthroscopy for a tear in the lateral meniscus of his left knee. He is expected to miss between two to six weeks of the regular season, according to a timetable provided by the team. S-M-H The NBA declined to comment specifically about the manner in which Smith violated its Anti-Drug Program. According to a summary of the program provided by the league, a third positive test for marijuana results in a suspension that is “five games longer than the player’s immediately-preceding marijuana suspension.” That is the sole scenario under which a five-game ban is administered. Friday’s suspension was Smith’s first under the Anti-Drug program, although he’s been suspended several times during his nine-year career for other infractions. He was suspended seven games in 2009 for his role in a crash that killed a passenger in his car in 2007 and resulted in a 90-day prison sentence. Smith was also suspended 10 games for his involvement in the Denver Nuggets-Knicks brawl in 2006. More recently, Smith was banned for Game 4 of the Knicks-Celtics first round playoff series in 2013 after he elbowed Jason Terry in the previous game.
