Belated ‘Big Brother’ Beef: Lolo Jones Bald Shames Tamar Braxton, Tells Her To Do THIS With Her $250K

Source: Sonja Flemming/CBS / Sonja Flemming/CBS Tamar Braxton Vs. Lolo Jones This Celebrity Big Brother beef just won’t let up! Tamar Braxton and Lolo Jones are at each other’s necks again on social media, and clearly they both want smoke. Lolo shared a video of herself on Instagram prepping for the Summer Olympics, and shaded the hell out of former Celebrity Big Brother alliance member Ricky Williams, who evicted her from the house. She wrote, “Praying I get thru practice … also Lord if you could give me a new pair of lungs bc I can’t breathe and my asthma pump is 50m away. Oh Wait Lord one more thing Also could you help me forgive Ricky Williams?…But like not right now but like maybe in 10 years I will be ready.” View this post on Instagram Praying I get thru practice … also Lord if you could give me a new pair of lungs bc I can’t breathe and my asthma pump is 50m away and my teammate is clearly recording me AND not trying to assist me with life saving skills in Jesus name I pray . Oh Wait Lord one more thing Also could you help me forgive Ricky Williams? …But like not right now but like maybe in 10 years I will be ready A post shared by Lolo Jones (@lolojones) on Feb 22, 2019 at 1:43pm PST   Tamar didn’t find the caption to be funny at all. She commented under the olympian’s post: “Yeah forgive @williams because at this point you are doing the MOST!! It was a game Lolo and to be honest we all bullsh***d each other. Getoverit.com #stillloveya” The CBB winner may still love Lolo, but judging by the runner’s clapback, she doesn’t feel the same about Tay Tay. Lolo clapped back telling Tamar that she was just joking with the caption, but: Use the $240K and buy some more wigs. Can’t wait to see ya. We all know that Tamar isn’t letting anyone get the last word. She wrote back, “I will buy me a wig right after you buy you a husband.” Do you think these a just jokes? Or is it on site for Tamar and Lolo?

Safety Is Sexy: Pyeongchang Sets A Record for Most Condoms Distributed At Winter Olympics

FABRICE COFFRINI/AFP/Getty Images Winter Olympics Sets New Record For Condom Distribution In 2018, The Olympics ain’t playing when it comes to safe sex–and Pyeongchang is going above and beyond to make sure that every athlete is safe at the Winter Olympics. South China Morning Post  has reported that 110,000 condoms will be given out this year. With the total number of athletes only reaching 2,925, that’s a little less than 40 condoms per person, which makes it the largest number distributed in the history of the Winter Olympics. If that supply runs out, the site also claims that condoms will also be available in men and women’s restrooms in addition to the media and medical centers throughout the Olympic Village. Convenience Co donated 100,000 of the condoms for “a successful hosting of the Winter Olympics and the prevention of the spread of the HIV virus.”100,000 condoms were passed out during the 2010 Vancouver and 2014 Sochi games respectively, but during the Summer Olympics in 2016, Brazil passed out a whopping 450,000 condoms. More people do compete in the Summer Games than the Winter, though, so that’s to be expected. Pyeongchang’s Winter Olympics runs from Feb. 9 to Feb 25. Continue reading

Laurie Hernandez on Dancing with the Stars Win: It’s Like a Gold Medal!

Laurie Hernandez has won Dancing with the Stars. Oh, sorry: SPOILER ALERT! It’s true, however, that the gymnast defeated a pair of other athletes on Tuesday night to claim the iconic Mirrorball Trophy alongside professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Of course, Hernandez won a Gold Medal at the Summer Olympics just a few months ago. So there’s no way this reality show-based honor can possibly compete with that previous accomplishment. Right? “Honestly, I feel like they tied (with) each other,” Hernandez told USA Today of winning Dancing with the Stars and winning the highest prize one can win as an American athlete. This seems like a stretch, but hey: We’ve never won a Gold Medal or a Dancing with the Stars season. So what the heck do we know?!? “The Olympics, as a little kid, it was such a big goal that I created for myself and I was able to push through and make that happen,” she explained, adding of how DWTS compares: “I’ve always loved to dance and my passion was dancing as well as gymnastics, so winning the Mirrorball was insane and amazing.” Hernandez knocked off James Hinchcliffe (and Sharna Burgess) and Calvin Johnson (and Lindsay Arnold) to claim the Season 23 title. In July, meanwhile, she helped her team win women’s all-around team competition in Rio and also took home a Silver Medal in the balance beam. Not a bad year, huh? Aside from showing off extreme dancing talent, Hernandez also wore her emotions on her sequined-sleeves at many points during the competition. As you can see in the video posted above, she broke down in front of the judges after dedicating a routine a couple weeks ago to her late grandmother. Chmerkovskiy, who has now come out on top of Dancing with the Stars twice, said he finds Hernandez very inspiring. He just hopes that others, most notably young fans and viewers, do as well. “I wanted to set an example through her … for her generation that anything is possible,” Chmerkovskiy told the newspaper. “To stay hungry, to stay humble, she’s a testament to that.” Hernandez agreed. She isn’t backing away from the pressure or expectations. “I do want to inspire others…When I was a little kid, I looked up to other people, so I hope I can inspire little kids,” she said. She’s off to a great start, that’s for certain! Do you think Hernandez deserved to win Dancing with the Stars? Where does she rank among all-time champions? And has any celebrity has a better 2016 than Laurie Hernandez?!? WOW! Weigh in below with your thoughts, opinions and comments. View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars Pros: Ranked!

Hannah Storm Breaks Down Over Death of John Saunders

Hannah Storm was faced with every reporter's worst nightmare on Wednesday afternoon: She had to announce the death of a colleague and good friend. On live television. The SportsCenter anchor was hosting ESPN's lead show from Brazil, in honor of the Summer Olympics, when the shocking news came down that John Saunders was dead . A fixture at the company since 1986, Saunders passed away suddenly at the age of 61. He had served for years as host of The Sports Reporters, whole covering everything at the cable network, from professional hockey to Major League Baseball All-Star Games to college football. “John was an extraordinary talent and his friendly, informative style has been a warm welcome to sports fans for decades,” said ESPN President John Skipper upon his passing. “His wide range of accomplishments across numerous sports and championship events is among the most impressive this industry has ever seen. “More importantly, John was a beloved and devoted family man who cared deeply about people and causes, as evidenced by his long-standing efforts as a passionate board member for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. “He was one of the most significant and influential members of the ESPN family, as a colleague and mentor, and he will be sorely missed. “Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this extremely difficult time.” Incredibly, this was the second time Storm had been on live television when a co-worker died. She was also forced to react in the moment when Stuart Scott died of cancer last year. Watch her handle the responsibility as nobly and as professionally as one possibly can under such a circumstance:

Oscar Pistorius, Double Amputee, Advances to 400 Meter Semifinals

SPOILER ALERT: Oscar Pistorius made history today at the London Olympics. History that it’s hard to believe will ever be duplicated. The South African sprinter, who was born without fibulas and had hid legs amputated below the knee at 11 months old, qualified for the 400 meter semifinals today with a season-best time of 45.44 seconds. Known as The Blade Runner, Pistorius became the first amputee to ever compete in Olympic track. “I’ve worked for six years … to get my chance,” said the 25-year old, who will run again tomorrow night. “I found myself smiling in the starting block. Which is very rare in the 400 meters.” It took many years for Pistorius to receive permission to compete here. Many doctors and experts believe his prosthesis actually give him an advantage because they enable him to do less work as he runs. But many hearings later and Pistorius was given his chance. As you can see, he’s making the most of it.

Kayla Harrison Overcomes History of Sexual Abuse, Wins Gold

There are endless impressive stories at the 2012 Summer Olympics – from Michael Phelps setting a medal record to Gabby Douglas winning the all-around gymnastic title to Oscar Pistorius advancing to the 400-meter semifinals – but no one has a story quite like Kayla Harrison. The judo Gold medalist (in the 78-kilogram division) has overcome an unimaginable past, as her former coach pleaded guilty in federal court in 2007 to charges of illicit sexual conduct. Harrison, 22, was listed in court papers as “K.H.” or “the victim.” Kayla has been open about the experience, which she says mostly took place on trips around the globe when she was 16. Emotional during the medal ceremony yesterday, she said soon afterward: “Kind of just reflecting back on my life. Everything it’s taken to get here, and everything that I’ve gone through. I’m America’s first gold medalist in judo – and always will be.” Harrison’s ex-coach, Daniel Doyle, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and has been expelled for life from USA Judo. Kayla has clearly moved on successfully, using her past as motivation. For herself and hopefully for others. “Never give up on your dreams,” Harrison said on Thursday. “I mean, if I can do it, anybody can do it. Things have happened, but now, my life is a dream. I’m living my dream right now.”
