It didn’t exactly receive the same attention as another Royal wedding , but Prince Albert and Charlene Wittstock got hitched today in a small civil ceremony. The event took place inside the palace in Monaco. Wittstock, the new, official Princess of Monaco, is a former Olympic Swimmer. She’s the first woman to hold this title since Grace Kelly, Albert’s mother who died in a 1982 car accident. Rumors spread on Thursday that Wittstick had bailed on the engagement, but the Palace quickly put those to rest and the world will see this couple in all its wedded bliss tomorrow: They have planned a lavish religious ceremony and gala. Hong Kong#39;s 419 scarlet fever infections in 2011 are already the highest annual total in the city, and more than three times the figure for the whole of last year. There were 142 cases in the first half of June. “We have seen an unusually high number of infection cases this year,” the spokesman said, describing the situation as an “outbreak”. Hong Kong has declared an outbreak of scarlet fever, an illness potentially fatal among children, after hundreds were infected in the teeming city, th
Laila Ali welcomed Sydney J. — the middle initial is in honor of Conway’s late grandmother Jurldine — on April 4, and already mother and daughter have established a girls only ritual. When Laila Ali and her husband, former NFL star Curtis Conway, decided to have a second child together, she thought she wanted another boy so that her son CJ, 2½, would have a little brother to play with. “Before I got pregnant with Sydney I started paying attention to girls with their moms and I thought, ‘Oh, I
This all started a few weeks before Justin came to Spain. I was looking at the Fan Club here, when suddenly I saw that Justin will be doing a signing in Spain ! I started crying all over the house and quickly called Inés. She did not understand anything because I was so nervous . I repeated it and we said that we had to convince our parents to take us. Her parents didn’t let her so then it was my turn . My mum said: “That day you have school, so no Irene”. I was like: “Butbutbutubutbutbutbut mum, it’s Justin Bieber!”. So everyday I would repeat it 200 times, and finally my parents said okay! My friend Inés also ended up coming with me. When that day arrived, we could not sleep. It was 29-11-10. That morning we went to school while my dad was waiting in the lineup. Finally it was time to go. When we were on the street, we saw LOTS of Beliebers. There was a lot of people, but we were the frist on the queue, so Justin will sign our CDs, and we also bought his bracelets. When Justin arrived we couldn’t stop screaming. He signed Inés first, and then to mine. I said, “Thank you” (yeah, in English, and I’m from Spain). He smiled to me and Kenny said, “Gracias, gracias” ( in Spanish) and I started to scream. Then he sang some songs, and he was very nice! Never say never and you can have a Bieber experience like this too. Thank you Justin, we love you! -@spain_justin Continued here: This all started a few weeks before Justin came to Spain. I…
My name is Lilee and I live in Townsville, Australia . One thing that really bothers me is that people instantly assume that I am ‘in love’ with Justin Bieber just because I am a fan of his, but for me this is not the case. I can honestly say that I simply just appreciate his music and nothing else. On December 9th, 2010 myself and my two friends Nicole (@thatnicolekidd) and Candace (@candiebritton) bought our VIP tickets through a pre-sale and were lucky enough to get second row center stage seats. Before this I had never cried over anything Bieber related but I think it was purely over the fact that we had prayed for these exact seats in the exact section and God had answered our prayers. I honestly mean that. Finally, April 22nd 2011 came and we flew from Townsville to Brisbane which was where the concert was. As we were waiting in the Brisbane Airport my friends and I were saying how this didn’t seem real when just at that moment this older couple were walking towards us. I couldn’t figure out who they were but I just knew that I knew their names. Suddenly it hit me that they were Justin’s Grandparents. His Grandmother walked past us and I said hello. She replied and I said I’d see her at the concert on Tuesday. She replied “Yes Tuesday. See you girls there!” She was absolutely friendly and more than happy to talk to us. So that night we went into Brisbane city and were walking near the Hilton hotel when these 3 guys walked passed us. I thought one of them was Scrappy but I wasn’t sure so I didn’t say anything. But then he started talking and I just knew it was him. About 20 minutes later we walked to McDonalds where we found Scrappy and a bunch of other guys sitting down. I worked up the courage to approach him later on out on the street and he was absolutely shocked that I recognised him . He introduced us to some of the other crew members as he conversed with us. They all made fun of my accent and I got about 10 photos with Scrappy and a random video. Before we left he told us he’d wave to us at the concert since he knew where we were sitting. The next day we went back into the city and met a bunch more people from the crew including Scrappy again. He told us that Justin had gotten stuck in Bali due to problems with his jet. I met Michael Vargas 3 times that day and night, Legaci, the other back up dancers , more stage crew members, Marcus (the One Less Lonely Boy) who is incredibly funny and we spoke to Scrappy again. The next day was April 26th – concert day. We basically spent all day getting ready. When we arrived at the Brisbane Entertainment Center everyone had to line up at security. My friends and I were at the front of the line and across from where we were you could see into the windows at the top of the venue. At one point, Ryan Good walked by and so did Justin. He opened the window and waved and was hoping up and down trying to tease us. Of course everyone went crazy. It was adorable. So when we got inside the venue to our seats Scrappy was doing his thing on stage and waved to us as promised. Several times girls kept screaming and pointing to backstage as if they’d seen something. I looked and I saw Justin’s head running away. This only got me more excited for the show. When DJ Tay James was on stage doing his thing Scooter walked on stage to talk to him and I managed to get a photo of Scooter looking directly at my camera. In the first song of the show I held up this tiny sign which read, ‘Hey Dan, @teamkanterAUS’ with an arrow pointing down at me. You see, I own that account and Dan Kanter follows me on it and has tweeted and rt’d me a few times. I literally held the sign up for 2 seconds when he saw it and pointed at me and mouthed ‘OMG, THAT’S YOU?!’ with a massive smile on his face. Of course I and my friends lost it. Dan threw his first guitar pick to me and I caught it. During the night he threw me another one so I have 2 of his guitar picks. He also kept throwing them at my friends and one of them was lucky enough to catch one. Dan was constantly smiling and waving to us all night. Legaci also recognised us and randomly waved which was awesome. At the beginning of ‘Baby’ Michael Vargas was standing directly in front of me when he randomly remembered me from the day before I guess, and so he pointed at me and waved. After the concert, we drove into the city. We randomly decided to walk down some random part of the mall when who do we see? Dan Kanter and Scrappy. They were at some bar with Allison Kaye, Scooter’s assistant and a bunch of other people from the crew. I didn’t even wave at Dan, he just recognised us, waved and then came straight over to us. I shook his hand and introduced myself. He wouldn’t stop thanking me for the account I made for him and he also told me that he had hoped to meet me on the Australian leg of the My World Tour. I died at that point. Haha. He is honestly the sweetest, most humble and genuine person I’ve ever met . We had a normal conversation with him for about 20 minutes, got photos etc and he told us that Justin and his crew are planning on coming back to Australia next year! That same night we also ran into Ryan Good, Scooter and Carin. The next morning we were sitting in the bar at the Sofitel when Dan walked in and came over to our table and was like ‘What’s up guys?’ I don’t think I’ve ever come across any ‘famous’ person in such a ‘normal’ way. He was just like anyone else. Before he left we spoke again. Ryan, Allison, Alfredo, Scooter, Kenny, PJ and Carin were also there. Kenny, Alfredo and PJ stayed behind while the others left for Sydney. We knew Justin was on bed rest so we bought $75 purple flowers and a card which his Grandpa so kindly took up to Justin for us. Candace and I had to fly back to Townsville that night and Nicole was staying for Chris Brown’s concert. Before I left we had a conversation with Alfredo and got photos. The next morning back in Townsville I check my twitter to find I have a mention from someone saying “So you’re one of the girls that gave Justin flowers. Did you get the note from his Grandma?” I freaked out and called Nicole and our other friend Anj (@anjieg) who were still in Brisbane. Long story short, Nicole ran into Justin’s Grandparents before they left for Sydney and we got our note. One of our friends Maddie didn’t get the chance to come to Brisbane for Justin’s concert so her and I spontaneously bought flights to Adelaide and left 2 days later without concert tickets. We knew God would provide for us so we went anyway. In Adelaide we met my friend Anj who was also going to the concert there. We had hoped to be one of the lucky ones who got given tickets by Scooter or Kenny but sadly they didn’t seem to come out. We waited outside the venue in 5 degree weather all night. I knew we couldn’t give up. Exactly half way through the show these 3 random girls came out and gave us their tickets!! We sprinted through the venue screaming, ran down the stairs and into the Auditorium where Justin was half way through performing ‘One Time’. Maddie lost it. She was so upset that all her friends had already seen Justin and she hadn’t but now there she was.. in the same room as Justin Bieber. We couldn’t believe how Good God had been to us. We travelled all the way from Northern Australia to the very bottom of the country with NO tickets to go to a SOLD OUT concert and we managed to get in. It’s all about faith. The next day we met Justin’s drummer in an Alley way where we just had a casual conversation about life and traveling. He was amazed we’d traveled so far with no tickets. After that I met Justin’s Grandparents again where I thanked them in person for holding onto our note in Brisbane. I met Ryan Good and Alfredo Flores again. I also met Dan again who recognised me and screamed “OMG HEY! DID YOU GO TO THE SHOW LAST NIGHT?!” I’ll never forget the people I met, the friends I made or how incredible both of Justin’s concerts were. I am forever grateful that he took the time to write myself, Anj, Nicole and Candace a thank you note and I am completely amazed at how lovely, friendly and genuine everyone on Bieber’s crew is. Team bieber forever. April 22nd-May 6th, 2011 Continue reading here: My name is Lilee and I live in Townsville, Australia. One thing…
My name is Daphne. I’m 13 years old & well this is how it all began. This was my first concert ever and I’m very glad it was a Justin Bieber concert. It was in Houston, Texas home of the CHUCK NORRIS! I was so excited! My friend which who I went with knew Ryan Good. We were all hoping Ryan would help us meet Justin but we knew that was never going to happen. We called and left a voice-mail but he never called back. I was sad but I was still happy that I got to go to his concert. As we were in line to get into the stadium, we saw Ryan Good and went up to him. There were so many girls that were surrounding him. My friend went over to him and said “Ryan do you remember me?! From the wedding!” Ryan then said “Yes! I remember you and I’m actually looking for ya’ll! Follow me” I was so happy we we’re about to meet Justin Bieber as well as Ryan Good (obviously) As we were going inside, he gives our wristbands. The color was yellow that said Justin Bieber with a heart next to it. Ryan said we had to take the elevator cause the stairs were full. I was about to cry & the whole time I was thinking Never Say Never . We were in line for about 30 minutes. It went by fast. Finally we were next in line! I was shaking. I was about to meet my Idol. When we were about to go in, I heard a guy laughing, as I gone inside the curtains, there he was, there was Justin Bieber. He looked amazing. I was shaking the whole time. I went over to go hug him, my cheeks were super red. I couldn’t believe it. We took our pictures and I hugged him again and we left. As I left, I then saw Kenny! 11/06/10. ♥ Read more: My name is Daphne. I’m 13 years old & well this is how…
My name is Dayna and I’m 14 from Sydney, Australia (far left in pic). I just wanted to say that I love this site so much and I have been reading the stories for almost a year and never (oops) ever thought that I would one day be writing my own! It was always a dream but I didn’t think it would be a reality. NEVER SAY NEVER ! My friend Annie and I entered billions of competitions since forever. The one competition that changed our lives was on bieberfever.com. Here is the video we made if you want to see it. On Wednesday the 27th of april Annie got an email saying WE HAD WON MEET IN GREETS TO HIS CONCERT THE NEXT NIGHT . Annie rang me straight away and neither of us could talk, it was literally THE best moment of my entire life, like I swear I literally could not breath. On the 28th April we arrived at the Acer Arena and got special purple wristbands with his name. While in line to meet Justin, we met Dan Kanter, who was SO sweet and we saw Justin’s grandpa , HES SO CUTE! I was already so star struck! We then got called over and taken into the room! As soon as I walked in and locked eyes with Justin my heart literally skipped a beat, I could not believe it. We walked over and he said ‘Hey Girls’ in his sexy little voice. Annie was crying and Kenny put his arm on her shoulder and told her to stop crying really nicely and then Justin agreed! We all got into a photo and then were being pushed out but asked for a hug and he was really sweet and said ofcourse, you can or something! He is such an amazing hugger and I will never forget it, he smelt soo good as well! After I hugged him, I told him to please find the hat that we made him and told him it was the same as ours (we gave it to the people collecting the presents along with all the letters) and he said “Aww, yeh sure” and I said “Thank you so much Justin” and he said “My pleasure” in his little flirty voice. That was incredible. As I was walking out I felt his eyes on me and turned around and he was staring right at me, I could not believe it, I then said “I LOVE YOU JUSTIN” and he did the biggest smile and then I was out the door. I reached my aim to get him to smile! I was literally so shocked when I met him I forgot everything else I planned to say! Everyone in that room experienced the most amazing thing. He was such a sweet and down to earth person and EVEN HOTTER IN PERSON!! I expected him to be all outgoing and confident but he actually appeared to be a little shy and just like a normal teenage boy which was incredibly cute and I really value that. Afterward, I could not stop crying, my biggest dream in life actually came true. I started crying the next day at school as well for ages because it actually hit me it was real. During the concert, he pointed and smiled RIGHT AT me and Annie because he saw us jumping up and down waving our hats. I almost fainted! At the concert I also met his main dancer and got a wave from Carin. I know I will remember this for my whole entire life and will always treasure it more than I can explain. I wanted to let you all know to NEVER SAY NEVER because clearly dreams DO come true, and you will all meet him one day and are all the best fans! ONE BIG HAPPY BELIEBER FAMILY.
