Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio in Sydney

“They were both so nice and down to earth,” Featherdale marketing manager Kellie Ames tells Australia#39;s Daily Telegraph. “There was certainly no diva behavior. Leo was asking about the endangered animals. They loved the koalas and the wombats. We also brought out baby saltwater crocs.” It#39;s an animal attraction! Leonardo DiCaprio took a break from filming The Great Gatsby in Sydney to spend some quality time with Blake Lively. A few days after marking her 24th birthday, Lively jetted of

My name is Claudette, I’m 15 and from Sydney, Australia….

My name is Claudette, I’m 15 and from Sydney, Australia. My Bieber experience started on the 26th April 2010. At 3am, my friends and I trecked it to the overseas international passengers terminal where there were already hundreds of screaming girls. We stayed there until 5am when we were told Justin wasn’t coming, which after that we sprinted to the Sunrise Studio. There were also hundreds of people there too. We were right at the front of the glass, but because I hadn’t slept for 14 hours, my friends decided I had to go home because I was about to pass out/vomit. We got home and I tried to get some sleep, but I was woken by the sound of screaming girls on TV. I looked and saw Justin performing on Sunrise! I was SO devostated that I didn’t get to see him. Eventually I accepted it and got over it. This year during Justin’s My World tour, I went on the 29th April with my 3 friends…BUT….we  didn’t  have tickets. We got there straight after school, about 2 hours before the concert. We found out that the concert was COMPLETELY sold out, so we walked around for 2 hours seeing if anyone had spare tickets. People did, but not enough. The concert started and we were with about 15 other people without tickets. There was one guy who kept on coming out, and he would give girls tickets. I felt like crying! Half an hour goes by, and the guy comes out again and gives more people tickets. My friends wanted to leave, they had given up but I told them NEVER SAY NEVER! About 1 hour into the concert, this guys comes back. He started talking to the security lady and I sprinted up to the glass, pressing my face against it, balling my eyes out. They point to me and my friends, then she comes to the door and tells us to come in. AT THAT MOMENT I BROKE INTO TEARS, HYSTERICALLY CRYING. IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING MOMENT OF MY LIFE. We walked into the concert just as he was getting egged! Although me missed a lot, it didn’t matter to me! FROM THAT MOMENT, JUSTIN TAUGHT ME TO NEVER SAY NEVER! After that night, I dedicated my whole weekend to finding Justin! The next day I tracked down his hotel. We walked inside and sat down. Then we heard people singing Happy Birthday. As we turned the corner, we found KENNY, RYAN AND ALFREDO! We got photos with them and sang happy birthday to Kenny. Later on I met Dan Kanter, and also Jacob Pena, who was Justin’s tutor for the tour and spent 2 hours walking around the city with him helping him buy a hat! You can see all my Bieber vids here . Justin followed me on Twittter three weeks ago! I burst into tears that night. Then Kenny tweeted + followed me and also Dan DM’d me! I honestly don’t know where my life would be right now if I didn’t have the inspiration of Justin. He has taught me so much and I will forever be a fan and I pray that he will come back to Australia sometime soon! – @claudbieberswag   Read this article: My name is Claudette, I’m 15 and from Sydney, Australia….

I’ve been reading other peoples Bieber experiences for…

I’ve been reading other peoples Bieber experiences for ages and I’m so excited that I can finally tell my own!  I recently moved to New York City from Sydney, Australia and up to Monday 20th June, I didn’t really have any reason to be enjoying it! But that all changed when I went to Macy’s to buy Someday. After I bought the perfume, I asked the lady when the launch would be and how I could meet him. She told me the launch would be the coming Thursday and the only way I could meet him was to buy a package for $135 which included 2 Someday perfumes, a laptop case, hair mist, body lotion, and a pass to take a photo with Justin. I asked her to refund the perfume I just bought so that I could buy the package on Wednesday, but she told me it would only be available to the first 325 girls. Now I already knew that with us crazy beliebers on the case, so I would be camping out over night. The next morning I got to Macy’s and 9am and I was 4th in line so I already knew I would be meeting Justin – that alone was enough to keep me awake all night. 25 hours later running on 30 minutes of sleep, I finally got my package. Thursday 23rd June, I went back to Macy’s and ended up waiting another 5 hours in line, but I knew it would all be worth it. For ages, I’ve been trying to get Justin to follow me on Twitter, so I thought why not try to ask him in person? I knew I would freeze up and be too starstruck to speak so I wrote my Twitter name on a piece of paper to give to him. So, all up 30 hours later it was finally my turn to meet Justin and like I thought I was completely starstruck; not to mention it was extremely rushed and it was all over in 20 seconds. I handed him the piece of paper and he said, “Oh for me, thank you” I took the picture, and it was literally over before I knew it. When I was on my way to pick up my photo, a lady stopped me and asked if I would be interviewed. I was shaking, I couldn’t stop smiling and I had to say yes. After the interview she told me I was great on camera which made my day that little bit better. I got my photo and went home and I can honestly say that Thursday was the best day of my life! ‘Australian Idol’ Judge Jay Dee Springbett Found Dead

Sony exec’s cause of death has not yet been established. By Jocelyn Vena Jay Dee Springbett Photo: Brendon Thorne/ Getty Images “Australian Idol” judge Jay Dee Springbett was found dead at his home in Sydney on Thursday. He was 36. He was discovered after friends called authorities when they couldn’t contact the former “Idol” judge. He was already dead when authorities arrived at his Woolloomooloo apartment, according to the Sydney Morning Herald. As of press time, nothing else was known about the cause of death, although authorities believe nothing suspicious happened. The U.K. native moved to Australia in 2004. He worked for Sony Music and joined “Idol” down under during the show’s final season in 2009, replacing Kyle Sandilands. He was known as the show’s resident “nice guy” judge. That year, Stan Walker was crowned the champ and later went on to become a successful artist in Australia and New Zealand. The show aired on Network Ten in Australia, and a spokesperson for the network released this statement: “Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jay Dee’s family at this very difficult time. Jay Dee was an asset to the final season of ‘Australian Idol,’ [and] we feel honored to have worked with him.” As a record executive, Springbett helped shape the careers of artists including Guy Sebastian, Human Nature, Rogue Traders and Natalie Bassingthwaighte. “Jay Dee was so very enthusiastic and passionate about his family, his music projects and his plans for the future,” Sony Music Entertainment Australian and New Zealand CEO Denis Handlin said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “[He] was a great friend and larger-than-life charismatic character who will be missed enormously.” Fremantle, which produces the “Idol” shows, also expressed condolences in a statement. “The ‘Australian Idol’ family is deeply saddened by the passing of Jay Dee,” the statement reads. “Our thoughts are with his family and all at Sony Music.”
