While Kanye West played concerts and yelled at people in wheelchairs to stand up this weekend, his wife played tourist in Australia. Much to the chagrin of one very unhappy koala. Indeed, Kim Kardashian took daughter North West to the zoo this morning, enjoying a few hours on the Sunshine Coast at a facility founded by the late animal conservationist Steve Irwin. “Thank you @AustraliaZoo for having us today. So many good memories #AustraliaZoo,” Kardashian wrote on Instagram soon after leaving, captioning a photo of herself and a resident who looked anxious to be put down by the reality star. According to Us Weekly sources, the famous family was given a private tour of the zoo, with Kim getting up close and personal with some cheetahs, birds and crocodiles. Kanye is scheduled to perform his final tour stop in Sydney tonight and then father, mother and daughter will (private) jet off to their next location. And no one will be happier to see them go than this poor koala. At least he now has a story to tell friends. And at least his home wasn’t destroyed by loggers . North West Watches Father Kanye West Perform For First Time via Daily Mail Travelling to Australia as a family has been a huge experience for Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West, but it looks like the whirlwind trip down under will hold a special place in their hearts. It’s been revealed that while in Perth, one-year-old daughter North saw her superstar dad perform for the very first time. Talking to Ten Eyewitness News on Friday, Kim, 33, said her little girl was ‘mesmerised’ by her superstar father, as she watched him for the first time right here in Oz. ‘I took her out at the first show when we landed here in Australia to watch from the side,’ she said. ‘It was the first time watching her daddy perform – she was mesmerised!’ On the night of the Perth concert, which was last week, fans came to see Kanye but got more than they bargained for when his famous wife and made a last minute appearance with their daughter. Snaps from inside the arena show Kim looking on adoringly from a VIP section as Kanye took to the stage for his first Australian show. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star touched down in Perth almost an hour before the show began and slipped into the crowd with North, who was later spotted at the side of stage with mum, wearing earplugs to protect her from loud music. Talking to Sophie Monk and Jules Lund on 2Day FM, the raven-haired glamazon discussed motherhood and the perils of international flights with a baby. ”She’s such a good traveler,’ she said of North. ‘But I caught a cold because she got a little runny nose. On one of our connecting flights I just wanted to sleep, but when you have a baby you just can’t.’ And while she’s away from her famous siblings, Kim revealed that they catch up via Face Time, and that even North get’s in on the action: ‘‘My daughter is just getting into where she thinks it’s really exciting to Face Time.’
Kanye West is okay, folks! We mean… he’s crazy egotistical and he’s stuck being married to Kim Kardashian and everything. But he’s okay health wise at the moment. The rapper was taken to a hospital in Australia on Wednesday after suffering a migraine, sources confirm to E! News. But it was only a “precaution” and West is now doing “fine.” Kanye “didn’t have a major health scare or seizure,” the insider assures E!. In fact, Mr. Kardashian even went on to perform for his Yeezus tour just a few hours after getting an MRI and leaving doctor’s care. We’ve heard he’s now resting comfortably at a Sydney hotel with Kim and daughter North West , as Kanye has two more concerts to perform later this week in that city. The world famous couple was spotted shopping in Sydney’s central business district a couple days ago, hitting such stores as Zambesi on Flinders Street. I was sitting in class scrolling through Twitter when Justin finally tweeted about the Australian tour dates coming out. I was freaking out! My friends and I made plans and the day the tickets came on sale we all tried but unfortunately missed out. There were multiple days but we failed to get Sydney tickets and had to split up. I went to Melbourne and was lucky enough to get VIP tickets in the front row. I couldn’t believe that I was actually, legit, getting the opportunity to meet Justin! It didn’t seem real and since I had a lot of school work to do, I tried not to think about it. Coming up to the day of the concert, I was going through a lot and didn’t even want to go to the M&G because I knew it would be over instantly and then my only piece of happiness left would be gone. I flew to Melbourne early that day and went to the arena to pick up the tickets. The lady was like, “Yep 2 tickets” and we screamed because we were meant to have 3. We started panicking and then she checked again and was like, “Oh yes 3, come back to the arena before 5:30.” When we came back, we went and got our wrist bands and got in line. Ryan came into the room and said, “You can go down and watch Cody Simpson but you MUST be back in here by 8:05.” We watched Cody do a few songs and before 8:05, ran back to the room. We walked down the stairs and got in line. The line moved so quickly and before I knew it, it was my turn to meet Justin. I was trying to act calm and walked up to him. He was perfect. So beautiful. We said hello to each other, took the photo, and hugged, thanking him for everything while holding his hand and looking into his eyes. When I walked out of the room it hit me and the tears started. I couldn’t believe I had met my world. We walked back into the arena and got in our seats and waited for the concert. It was amazing! While being in the front row the whole time, Justin looked at us and pointed! At the end of the show, one of the security guards gave me Justin’s drumsticks which I couldn’t believe. The night turned out more perfect than ever and better than I imagined. Justin you are truly wonderful. Thank you so much for everything. My name is Rachel, I’m from Sydney, Australia and this is my third Bieber experience. It was June 2013 when I was sitting at work on my break, wishing I had gotten tickets to Justin’s tour. That’s when I checked my phone and almost chocked on my food! My friend Tiarna had sent me heaps of messages that said she had gotten us MEET AND GREETS & 3RD ROW. I tried so hard to keep my cool at work, but when I got home I screamed and threw myself on the floor. How could I be this lucky? Meeting Justin again for the 3rd time? I counted down the days until November 29th, and suddenly it was here. Tiarna and I stayed in Sydney, got our hair done, spent ages making sure our make up was perfect, and constantly checked our outfits to make sure we looked okay. We mingled with heaps of other beliebers in the VIP party and they were all lovely, I finally felt like I fit in. During this time, Justin had tweeted, “Silly face on my way to Sydney’s show.” I screamed and everyone in the room turned to me, and I yelled that Justin was on his way! Everyone started screaming, crying and throwing themselves around the room, some even threw themselves onto me for a hug! We were so excited. I got closer and closer to the black curtain, watching girls come out, either completely in shock, or starting to cry and shake. I finally reached the black curtain and peaked inside. I saw the top of Justin’s golden hair as he was looking at the floor and then he looked up at the camera! I went into full shock. Everything I had planned to say to him, gone. Tiarna squeezed me so hard, she was having a panic attack. We got closer until he was right in front of me, and security let me walk up to him. I stared at the word “Brooklyn” on his jumper, which at the time was a blur, and all that came out of my mouth was, “I love you, I love you so much Justin.” I held onto him so tight and turned and smiled. I don’t even remember seeing a camera, or anyone else in the room for that matter. He felt so warm, and smelt expensive. After the flash, I turned and looked up at him and said, “Thank you, I love you so much” and he looked down at me in the eyes AND WINKED AT ME. As I got pulled away, I ran my hand down his right arm and held his soft, warm hand for a second. He didn’t break eye contact with me until I let go. I walked out of the room and burst into hysterical tears. The rest of the girls still waiting in line, all pointed at me saying, “Aww she’s crying.” Once I was at my seat at the runway Cody Simpson was on stage, and I don’t even remember what song he was singing because I was still crying so much. I pulled myself together before Justin came on and it was the most amazing tour I had ever experienced. I was so close, I could see the detailing in his tattoo’s and the sweat dripping down his forehead. Justin started singing ‘Be Alright,’ and I started crying again as that song had gotten me through a lot of hard times in my life. I was filming him sing as tears rolled down my cheeks, and then one of the spot lights stopped on me, and Justin see me crying. As he sang, “For you, oh, I would walk a thousand miles,” he pointed straight at me and smiled. You could say I was very emotional that night, but it was the best night of my life. Even though Justin didn’t say anything to me, he was still so beautiful and gentle in person and I will never forget the moment he looked down and winked at me, because for a few seconds I held him in my arms. Justin gets me through so much, and he has been there for me since ‘09. Even though I’m just another crying girl in the crowd to him, he is like a best friend to me. According to Billboard: Beyoncé earns the No. 1 Hot Tours ranking with $44.9 million in box office grosses from her fall tour through cities in Latin America and Australia, taking the Mrs. Carter Show world tour pass the $100 million mark in box office sales since launching in April. The overall gross from the ongoing tour is $104.3 million from more than 883,000 sold tickets at 59 performances, based on box office stats reported to Billboard. The revenue reported this week comes from 19 concerts during the fall trek of the pop star’s world tour. Kicking off a five-city swing through Brazil on Sept. 8, Beyoncé performed in stadiums to begin her South American jaunt. The top-grosser was a run of four shows at Sydney’s Allphones Arena with $9.4 million (US$) in box office revenue. The four-night stand (Oct. 31-Nov. 3) was the arena’s highest-grossing concert engagement this year, topping box office revenue from multiple performances by P!nk, Bruce Springsteen and One Direction, among others.
