Here name is LAUREN WASSER ….her instagram is @theimpossiblemuse….and she’s fascinating… I saw her pictures a week ago because I follow Paris Hilton’s actual BFF, not that twat from her reality show FOTOFETISH …. I was obviously compelled by the fact she was misssing a leg, figuring that this was just another progressive move by the fashion industry to be different, or obscure, like what they are doing with all the plus sized models….or trans models…or really anyone who isn’t a conventional model…while still having the look of a conventional model, because when looking at her, you can tell she’s a legit model… I just assumed she had a motorcycle accident with some drunk billionaire she was dating…but it turns out the story is much more evil corporation than that…. She lost her leg because of Toxic Shock Syndrome…something you may remember learning about in Health Class, or from some hipplie chick in the late 90s showing off her “Keepa Menstrual Cup”….but that you probably haven’t heard of since, since you don’t get your period… The idea is that shoving a tampon in you, seeing as it is a foreign object, normally not sterile, and made with chemicals, fucks up your system, directly to your blood source, causing a bacterial infection that can lead to death or I guess amputation… The story of her realizing she was sick, to being hospitalized is terrifying, but she’s still here even after heart attack to tell the story and remind girls that this exists and is an issue, She’s also in the process of suing Kotex / Kimberly Clark and getting things more regulated in goverment…because this should not happen to anyone…. I am sure she will win, but hope it makes a lot of fucking noise, because clearly corporate negligence when you know they know better and have the resources to prevent this is a bigger issue than being able to breast feed in a park..when you already can… #freethetampon. because your period shouldn’t kill you, but rather be a celebration that I didn’t knock you up…. Former Cosby Cast Mate Steps Forward As Alleged Victim One of Bill Cosby’s former co-stars has stepped forward and claimed that she too suffered sexual assault and repeated abuse at the comedian’s hands as a young girl. Via MailOnline : A former Picture Page cast member has become the latest woman to make sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby, claiming he drugged her and sexually assaulted her when she was a 15-year-old aspiring actress. Mother-of-three Renita Chaney Hill, who appeared alongside the comedian in the educational program, said the pair had relationship for four years during the 1980s while he paid her college tuition. The 47-year-old from Pittsburgh said she would be flown to different cities around the country and when they stayed in hotels, he would insist she had a drink, even though she was still in high school. She told KDKA she believed that is when he drugged her as she did not remember anything until she woke up the next morning. ‘He would fly me to a number of cities. He would be busy during the day, then I’d come to his hotel room at night,’ she added. ‘One time, I remember just before I passed out, I remember him kissing and touching me and I remember the taste of his cigar on his breath, and I didn’t like it. I remember another time when I woke up in my bed the next day and he was leaving, he mentioned you should probably lose a little weight. I thought that odd, how would he know that.’ When she turned 19, she cut off all ties with Cosby, even though he was paying her way through school. Her parents seemed happy with her continuing what seemed like a mentoring relationship, but Hill had enough, and even gave up her dream of becoming an actress. Hill claims her husband and three daughters are aware of what happened. She told the station she has no apologies for waiting 30 years to tell the story and said she decided to come forward when Cosby’s lawyers criticized other alleged victims. Hill added: ‘No one wants to be associated with something like this. But the bottom line for me is that no one has the right to violate someone else, no matter who they are. I don’t care how big they are or how the community sees them, it’s not right.’ Well she’s the first co-star we’ve heard step forward…can we expect any stories from any castmates on his most famous show??? A few weeks after Zendaya dropped out of the upcoming Lifetime biopic based on the life and tragic death of singer Aaliyah, producer Wendy Williams has Tweeted that Ship will take her place. “I’m excited to exec produce the Aaliyah @lifetimetv movie w/ @DebraMChase. Prod starts later this month and @AlexShipppp will play Aaliyah,” Williams wrote online this morning. Zendaya came under fire as soon as she was announced Aaliyah, mostly due to her her light skin tone. The actress tried to remain above the fray, Tweeting that all she wants to do is “honor” the late artist. But the critics would not shut up. Aaliyah: Princess of R&B, will be based on the biography, Aaliyah: More Than a Woman and tell the story of a star who was killed at the age of 22 in a plane crash. Shipp, meanwhile, is best known for her role on Nickelodeon’s House of Anubis.
Rapper Locksmith Releases New Video Bay Area Rapper Locksmith releases thought-provoking new video. According to MTV: In the song and video for “Hardest Song Ever,” released this week, Locksmith recounts the sexual abuse he suffered as a child. Though he’s able to tell the story with clarity and candor now, that wasn’t the case until recently. “You almost erase it from your mind, but it doesn’t totally go away, of course,” the Richmond, California, native told MTV News. “I didn’t even know that it shaped my consciousness, because I had put it in my subconscious, and it was so early on in my life.” After years of burying the painful memories, Lock began confronting this part of his past two years ago, and wrote the song shortly after that.
