Remember when news broke that Disney would purchase and acquire all the rights to FOX ? Ironically, the Simpsons (which airs on FOX) predicted the unprecedented purchase nearly 20 years ago. Simpson’s former manager is claiming that something actually did go down between the disgraced football star and Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner . According to reports from Page Six , Simpson’s former manager Norman Pardo alleges that Simpson once bragged about having sex with his best friend’s wife, Kris Kardashian, during a 1990s hot-tub tryst that ended up ruining both their marriages. Simpson and his then-wife Nicole, along with Robert and Kris Kardashian, were in a Jacuzzi one night while vacationing together, according to Pardo in his new documentary, Who Killed Nicole? Once Nicole and Robert turned in, O.J. and Kris were left alone in the jacuzzi. “‘O.J. said he stood up, pulled his shorts down and, I’ll give you exactly what he said: ‘Her eyes bugged out of her head and I f–ked that B until I broke her,’” his former manager reportedly claims on camera . The Kardashians divorced shortly afterward in 1991 and the Simpsons ended up splitting up by early 1992. O.J. reportedly bragged about the one night stand to Pardo during a 2003 limo ride to an appearance at an Atlanta nightclub, the ex-manager recalled to The Post . While Robert Kardashian joined the team that represented Simpson during his murder trial in 1994–four years after the alleged hot tub hook-up–it was more out of practicality than friendship, according to Pardo. Norman Pardo says he is currently shopping his 90-minute documentary to distributors, which will get an online release on June 12 to mark the 25th anniversary of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Robert Goldman. Neither Kris Jenner nor O.J. Simpson have commented on these most recent allegations–but as we mentioned before, Simpson previously denied ever sleeping with the reality TV star back in 2015.
Folks, its ’90s Day on THG and we’re celebrating by remembering the heyday of the Simpsons. No, not Homer and Marge — OJ and Jessica! Hear us out: Earlier today we reported that Jessica Simpson is feuding with Natalie Portman . As if! Now, it’s time to dig out your Doc Martens and tie a flannel shirt around your waist, because yet another Clinton era beef is making headlines. Boo ya! This one concerns two figures who loomed large in the 90s — one largely forgotten, and one still very much a part of the public consciousness. We’re talking, of course, O.J. Simpson and Lyle Menendez. Along with his brother Erik, Menendez was imprisoned for the shotgun murder of his parents in 1994. The brothers were locked up throughout their lengthy trial, so by the time O.J. arrived on the cellblock in June of 1994, the Menendezes were already veterans of the California penal system. According to a new book by Robert Rand entitled The Menendez Murders , Lyle took O.J. under his wing, and the two of them quickly developed a close friendship. In fact, according to an excerpt from the book published today by Radar Online, O.J. confessed to killing his wife in one of his first conversations with Lyle. Rand claims that while Lyle and O.J. were both waiting for their lawyers in the prison’s “attorney room,” a tearful Simpson admitted to killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman after he “snapped in the heat of passion.” “Lyle advised O.J. he should consider taking a plea deal,” Rand tells Radar. “O.J. briefly considered that option – according to Lyle – but later told Menendez he couldn’t do that because it would ruin his reputation and he would never work again.” In his book, Rand writes of Lyle’s recollection of O.J.’s early days behind bars: “The first night was rough. I didn’t see him cry but I believe he was,” Erik recalled, according to Rand. “I could hear him moaning.” Sounds like O.J. wasn’t cut out for life behind bars, so it’s a good thing (for him and absolutely no one else) that Simpson was acquitted , despite having very obviously committed double murder. Of course, a few years later, he was tossed in the clink for unrelated crimes and spent nearly a decade in prison. Lyle, now 50, has been in jail since the late George H.W. Bush was in office. So justice was served in one case … and, like, sort of served in another. We wouldn’t call it a happy ending, but it’s an ending. Now let us never speak of ’90s Day again. View Slideshow: O.J. Despite nearly 26 years (!) on the air, The Simpsons has made more pop culture headlines in the past few months than all the other animated sitcoms combined. Earlier this summer, we learned that Lena Dunham will play Homer’s girlfriend when he and Marge breakup in the show’s upcoming 27th season. That was followed by zeitgeist-y moments such as Caitlyn Jenner getting The Simpsons treatment and the revelation that the show predicted a Donald Trump presidency . But while the beloved series has been maintaining its cultural relevance and inspiring tributes for years, nothing could prepare fans for Okilly Dokilly – the Phoenix-based metal band inspired by the life and legend of Springfield’s friendliest neighbor-ino, Ned Flanders. The band’s members – Head Ned, Red Ned, Thread Ned, Stead Ned, and Bled Ned – all rock Flanders’ signature green sweater, wire-rimmed glasses and push-broom mustache, but the Ned-cenrtic vibe doesn’t end there. ”Most of our songs are direct Ned quotes,” vocalist Head Ned claims. “[It’s] not as fast as Bartcore, and a little cleaner than Krusty Punk. Not as heavy as ‘Homer J.ent’—Nedal is a happy medium in the Simpscene.” Yes, there’s a “Simpscene” and the band describes it’s sound as “Nedal.” It’s more awesome than Ned’s man cave or lamer than a sermon from Reverend Lovejoy, depending on your perspective.
