Black FDNY Worker Receives Racist Letter For Helping EMT Involved In Noose Hanging Incident

A union FDNY worker who was targeted is asking for an investigation into an anonymous letter she received. According to The New York Daily News, back in August a noose was discovered hanging in an ambulance at Keisha Brockington’s station. The person behind the noose was discovered to be EMT John Thornton who told upper management that it was just a practical joke for a coworker who’d just broken up with their girlfriend. The NYDN reports that Thornton then asked Brockington for advice and she told him to contact the EMS union’s vice president, but the plan backfired. Thornton was suspended and his probationary period as a new hire was extended for 6 months. Fast-forward to present day and Brockington’s telling the outlet that a racist letter popped up in her locker from an anonymous source. ““You stupid n—– better watch your back, talking all this crap,” reads the leter. “You better watch your back when you start your car up. Nothing better than a dead n—–. Trying to get innocent people fired for a funny prank,” according to the Daily News. She’s since filed a police report and alerted management. Gee, we wonder who could’ve possibly sent this woman a letter. Shouldn’t be hard for the police to piece this one together, right?

Ever wonder what Billy Bob Thornton thinks of Cupcake Wars? No? Well, listen up anyway! The actor makes some profound points in the following video. Taken from his appearance on Oprah’s Master Class Sunday, the Fargo Season 1 star uses reality television to explain his problem with humanity in general these days. “We’re living in a time that’s just become judgmental and everybody wants to see failure,” says the ex-husband of Angeline Jolie . “They want to see people knocked off the hill. “You can’t have a television show without a competition because they want to see who cries this week and who goes downhill, who gets kicked out.” Billy Bob Thornton SLAMS Cupcake Wars Does Thornton think we need a series about cupcake recipes ? No. But, okay, fine, great. You wanna air one? No problem. HOWEVER… “Does it have to be a f-cking competition? Do you have to have cupcake wars? And I’m sure people who have been in war kind of take offense to that because seriously, it’s not that goddamn dangerous to make a cupcake.” The 58-year old makes some salient points, don’t you think? I guess I’m just really ready for people to kind of settle down and know each other again and root for each other as opposed to look for the faults in each other,” he concludes, adding: “There’s a lot of great stuff in life from the top to the bottom and from the left to the right. Life is magical and I guess my thing is I wish that people wanted that magic.” We wonder what Thornton thinks of the following reality television shows: 13 Reality Shows That Have Actually Existed 1. Sex Box Sex Box is actually a show. It will air on WEtv and it will feature couples having sex. In a box.

Tiffany Thornton asked a question and made an exciting announcement via WhoSay yesterday. The former Disney Channel actress ( So Random! , Sonny with a Chance ) posted a photo on that social media site of herself and some friends and wrote as a caption: “Guess what?! Hint: why am I holding my stomach?” Yes… Thornton is pregnant! The 27-year old gave birth to her first child – a son named Kenneth James – in August 2012, just nine months after exchanging vows with husband Chris Carney. (FUN NOTE: Demi Lovato served as one of Thornton’s bridesmaids and also caught the bouquet during the wedding reception.) It didn’t take long, of course, for fans to figure out Thornton’s news online, prompting her to Tweet her gratitude in response: “Thanks so much for all the congrats,” she wrote. “Chris and I are so excited to announce that KJ is going to be a big brother!!! What a blessing.”

A few years ago former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton got mad at me and told me off on Twitter. Or at least I think she did, but I couldn’t make out what she wrote and right now I’m too lazy to look for it. I must have called her a useless backup dancer or something along those lines. I was young and immature back then, and really haven’t changed much. I still think she was a useless backup dancer and wish these bikini pictures were of Nicole Scherzinger. But they are not, so we’ll just have to settle for her. Good thing Melody has a pretty solid body for a former backup dancer. Enjoy.
