Nicki Minaj , Kanye West and Maroon 5 were scheduled to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, but Jay-Z made an unexpected appearance. He hit the stage and performed with Yeezy, and the crowd loved it. Kanye was supposed to perform at the annual event a few years ago, but cancelled after his mother Donda West died. “Stronger” was one of the songs he performed, and he dedicated it to his mother. “I lost my super hero,” Kanye told the audience, “and now she’s my super angel.” Jay-Z joined Yay for “N—-s In Paris,” but altered the lyrics to “Homies In Paris.” Nicki Minaj rocked out to ”Super Bass” in characteristically colorful attire. Every stop of Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne Tour has been consistent for the most part, but the late Heavy D was acknowledged at last night’s show in New York City. Instead of deviating from the set list by playing some of the hip hop legend’s music, Jay and Yay honored Hev with a simple shout out. Heavy D died unexpectedly in Los Angeles on November 8th. The official cause has not been determined, but he reportedly succumbed to complications from pneumonia. After kicking off their Watch the Throne tour in Atlanta last weekend, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s tour stopped in Philadelphia last night. As y’all may know Kanye’s ex and Wiz Khalifa’s current girl, Amber Rose , hails from Philly and Kanye shouted her out when he performed “Runaway.” “To the city of Philly, I wanna thank y’all for making the incredible person that this song was made for,” said Kanye before singing, “The one place I f*cked up most is I thought, I thought you’d always me mine.” Kanye actually shed a tear while performing the song same at the Atlanta show.
