According to TMZ: Chris Brown just got cut a big break …the assault charge has just been reduced from a FELONY to a MISDEMEANOR … and Chris pled not guilty. Chris has just been released without bail. He’s also required to stay 100 yards away from the victim. Chris had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge just vacated that order. It’s standard in such cases to order a drug test, but that has been cancelled. Sources tell TMZ … there’s some question as to who threw a punch to the alleged victim’s face. The original police report said Brown’s bodyguard threw the punch, and we’re told that’s why the charge against Chris has been reduced. The bodyguard’s charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor. TMZ broke the story … Brown was arrested for felony assault early Sunday morning in Washington D.C. after allegedly attacking a man outside a hotel and breaking his nose. Brown allegedly got into an argument with a man, said “I’m not down with that gay s***, I’m into boxing,” and then punched him in the nose. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the fight started when the man and his friend photobombed Chris, who was posing for a picture with two girls. Sources close to Chris insist the fight wasn’t over a photo — they say the alleged victim tried to force his way onto Chris’ tour bus, and Chris was merely trying to stop a trespass. Brown has been in custody since the incident. Trouble sticks to Breezy like white on rice.

Nicki Minaj , Kanye West and Maroon 5 were scheduled to perform at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, but Jay-Z made an unexpected appearance. He hit the stage and performed with Yeezy, and the crowd loved it. Kanye was supposed to perform at the annual event a few years ago, but cancelled after his mother Donda West died. “Stronger” was one of the songs he performed, and he dedicated it to his mother. “I lost my super hero,” Kanye told the audience, “and now she’s my super angel.” Jay-Z joined Yay for “N—-s In Paris,” but altered the lyrics to “Homies In Paris.” Nicki Minaj rocked out to ”Super Bass” in characteristically colorful attire. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS at 10 pm EST on November 29th. Find out more about the show at HuffingtonPost and check out the photos below! There were tons of highlights from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne shows at Philips Arena this weekend, but one that really stood out was when Jigga performed his hit “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” which includes the hook “Not guilty / Y’all got to feel me!” But during the Watch the Throne show, Jay altered the lyrics to “Izzo” and said on the hook: “F*ck it, I’m guilty!” Back in 1999 Jay-Z was charged in New York with stabbing record exec Lance “Un” Rivera at a listening party for Q-Tip’s “Amplified” album. Apparently Jigga blamed Rivera for allegedly bootlegging the “In My Lifetime Volume 3″ album. Despite maintaining his innocence in two songs (see below), Jay eventually plead guilty to third-degree assault and was sentenced to three years of probation. He was facing 15 years in jail if the case had gone to trial, which is why many people speculate he plead guilty rather than face prison time, even though he maintained his innocence.
