NeNe Leakes: I Had a REAL Breakdown, People!

NeNe Leakes has not had a great week. A few days ago, the reality star stepped into some scalding hot water after she responded to a heckler at a stand-up show by telling her she hopes she gets raped by her Uber drive . Yeah: YIKES ! After receiving some well-deserved backlash for this remark, Leakes was fired from The Great Xscape Tour and sources have said she may also be let go from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe proceeded to issue a heartfelt apology, saying on Instagram: “I truly regret and apologize for what I said from the stage in Oakland over the weekend… “As a woman and someone who has survived abuse, I regret the words that I used.” Pretty straightforward and, really, all NeNe could say given the circumstances, right? But with the criticism increasing and her career in jeopardy, Leakes then recoded a video in which she bawled her eyes out and REALLY apologized. “I never want to cause harm to anybody else, not in that kind of way,” she said this time around, adding: “Everybody who know me knows that I never would want that to happen.” So… days later, how is Leakes feeling about everything right now? Pretty good, but it got ugly there for a bit. “A lot of people know me as NeNe who’s laughing and talking, a lot of don’t know me as NeNe who would break down,” Leakes said on Instagram last night, expounding as follows: “I actually had a real breakdown.” Don’t panic, however, fans. NeNe says she’s in a much better place now. “Trust and believe, I’m so okay, I’m in a great place today,” she said. “I can’t say I haven’t been in a great place these last few days. I’m so okay with everything, I just haven’t talked a lot or spoken out a lot.” The Bravo star was scheduled to host a November concert featuring girl group Xscape (including her Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kandi Burruss). However, the group announced yesterday that they were “dismayed” by the remark Leakes made. “Yesterday I got a little bit emotional. I have never said anything that the heckler said to me. All the girls on the tour with me know what happened,” Leakes continued on Instagram. She concluded optimistically, stating: “I plan on not letting anyone take my joy. I created my own show because I wanted to get out and express some of the things that I have inside of me. “I don’t consider myself a comedian, I always say that. I’ve said that since the day I first started. I just consider myself a s–t talker, a funny lady. I never imagined ever, ever, ever stepping on stage and somebody screaming out ‘Go kill yourself’ to me. “It literally took me somewhere else, I apologize. I’ve let that go.” So… NeNe is mostly sorry, yet also wants everyone to know that the heckler told her to commit suicide. We can understand how that could be traumatizing. If you’re having trouble keeping up with what’s going on in Kailyn Lowry’s love life these days, you’re certainly not alone. Shortly after Lowry’s breakup with Chris Lopez , it was widely reported that she entered a new relationship with her next door neighbor. Rumors of Kailyn dating Dionisio Cephas were bolstered by recent flirty Twitter exchanges between the two. Some even went so far as to claim that the jokey back-and-forth messages were Kail and Dionisio’s way of confirming that they’re a couple. Both parties shot those rumors down, however, confirming that they’re more than friends, but insisting that they’re not officially dating yet. So when Kail attended a recent red carpet event with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, fans were on the lookout for possible signs of a reconciliation. And the parents of young Lincoln certainly didn’t disappoint: Kailyn and Javi filmed Marriage Boot Camp together recently (despite the fact that they’re no longer married) and as you can see, they got very friendly at the premiere party. Javi planted one on Kailyn for all the world to see, but to hear him tell it, it was merely a gesture of platonic love for one of his best friends: “I have love for her, but we’re not getting back together,” Javi told Radar Online. “If things were different and things didn’t play out the way they did, maybe we could give it another shot. But too many things have happened to do that.” Javi said that despite rumors to the contrary, he and Kailyn are getting along well these days and amicably co-parenting son Lincoln: “We’re pretty good right now,” Marroquin told the site. “We hang out a lot. I have Lincoln 50 percent of the time. I go to all their soccer stuff. I see her almost every day.” So it sounds like that kiss really was just a platonic, friendly thing … or was it? “Kailyn, she’ll always have a soft spot in my heart,” Javi added. “When she tells me stories of what she’s dealing with and what she’s going through in her life, it hits home with me. ‘Scandal’ Recap: Fitz Makes An Awkward Return to Washington DC

Source: Richard Cartwright / Getty Tonight’s episode of Scandal b egins with, you guessed it, a scandal. It’s not major, at least for now, but it could be something if the secret gets out. Basically, Olivia Pope has been getting it in with Curtis, the conservative journalist/commentator who gave her a hard time on his show about Mellie’s education bill. He is cute, so it’s hard to blame Olivia, but he’s starting to catch feelings. He has been complaining about how she’s so secretive about their affair. This translates to Liv as wining, and you know Olivia ain’t about that life. via GIPHY Olivia is trying to convince Cyrus to woo a billionaire tech mogul (a potential donor). Mellie is trying to woo President Rashad, the dictator for Bushran (if you saw last week’s episode), into a nuclear arms treaty (and apologize for spying on him). All of this is lead up State Dinner. Olivia is trying to make Mellie look good so landing the treaty and major donors are big wins. Mellie’s meeting with President Rashad doesn’t go well at all. Mellie turns up her charm, but the dictator sees through it, calls her a hypocrite, and says that he’ll remove nuclear weapons from his country when the countries that have the most do so first. *coughs* America. Yup, that was shade to the US. via GIPHY Now we’re at the State Dinner. Olivia is working hard to make sure no one embarrasses Mellie. All the usual suspects are present, even President Rashad, who makes a grand entrance with Mellie. They keeping up appearances and make it look like they’re getting along, but President Rashad is still not agreeing to the treaty. He feels like it would make him look weak and even put him at risk of assassination. He comes from a conservative Muslim country, and Mellie, well, you know, Murica. But that’s cool because Olivia is working on plans B-Z (with Jake’s help). via GIPHY Meanwhile, Cyrus is working on the tech billionaire. It doesn’t go too well, because the tech dude is a jerk, but it pans out in the end. This part of the storyline isn’t super major (at least not for now). Back to Olivia. She gets President Rashad alone and mentions that she’s aware that his niece is majoring in gender studies in the US. That sort of thing–you know, women getting an education–don’t go over well in President Rashad’s country, so he changed her name. Olivia confronts with this information thinking that if he did this for his niece, then there’s some sort of humanity in him. She begs him to sign the treaty. This pisses him off even more. He’s upset that Olivia spied on him and that he didn’t listen to the people warned him about her. He denies the treaty request, once again. The tables turn later on, though. Basically, another dignitary requests a private talk with President Rashad, claiming that Mellie Grant sent him. It turns out that the man is an assassin. President Rashad thinks it’s the US coming for him, but the man is actually Rashad’s fellow countryman. The assassin gets ready to shoot, but Olivia and Jake got the drop (thanks to a tip from Curtis) so they sent their people to dead that. Luckily for President Rashad and Olivia, the assassination attempt is thwarted just in time. via GIPHY President Rashad says he knows who may be behind this. Mellie and Liv offer conditional help and finally convince him to sign the treaty, but only if they help him with his country’s biggest enemy (and the people who probably also sent an assassin to try to kill him. Mellie asks Olivia to give her time alone with President Rashad and she agrees. Not long after, Rashad tells Mellie that his niece actually has Mellie’s picture hanging up on her wall. He calls Mellie extraordinary and then says it’s an honor sitting next to her. Mega progress. He leaves and says he looks forward to working with her. The episode ends with Olivia and Curtis making out and preparing to enter Olivia’s apartment for some hot steamy loving, but their steamy session is interrupted by Fitz, who’s standing there waiting for Olivia to come home. He just wasn’t prepared for company. He eeks out an awkward, “Hello,” and tries to keep his voice even, but you know he’s raging inside. Liv and her boo thang just stand there looking like: via GIPHY We knew Fitz would be back. He always come back. Let’s face it, he is Olivia’s one true love. We’ll see where this goes next week. Ben Affleck: Multiple Sexual Harassment Videos Resurface Amidst Growing Scandal

It’s hard to think of a celebrity who’s been who’s been at once so unfathomably successful and so transparently troubled as Ben Affleck. With two Oscars, several successful turns behind the camera as director, and a lucrative multi-feature gig as one of the most iconic characters in cinema, Affleck has the kind of career most leading men can only dream of. And yet, it’s impossible to talk about the 45-year-old without mentioning the persistent dark side that seems to have plagued him at least since young adulthood. We’ve seen Affleck struggle with alcoholism and endure a difficult divorce that considerable damage to his public image. He’s been accused of cheating on his wife, gambling compulsively, and indulging in fits of rage indiscriminately. And now, Affleck may be on the verge of most sordid scandal of his career thanks to a pair of newly resurfaced videos that show the actor engaged in some truly unsettling behavior. On Tuesday night, fans were stunned by allegations that Affleck groped actress Hilarie Burton during an appearance on MTV’s TRL. Now, video of the incident has emerged, and it’s every bit as unnerving as it sounds: Ben Affleck Gropes Hilarie Burton on TRL Yes, at 30 years old, Ben–who was already an established star in Hollywood–took it upon himself to “tweak” the breast of a 20-year-old up-and-coming media personality in front of a crowd and a camera crew. Burton laughed off the encounter in the clip above, but she tweeted last night that she “laughed to keep from crying.” Sadly, that’s not the only example of Ben engaging in egregious misconduct with a young female journalist. The clip below, shot in 2004, shows Ben pulling a Canadian TV host into his lap and embracing her while encouraging her to do the remainder of the show topless and asking to see more cleavage. Needless to say, the footage is upsetting, to say the least: Ben Affleck Harasses Young Reporter At the 4:00 mark, Ben also mocks people suffering from cerebral palsy. The footage was shot over a decade ago, but it’s worth noting that Affleck was 33 years old at the time. Earlier today, Ben issued an apology for the Burton incident, tweeting: “I acted inappropriately toward Ms. Burton and I sincerely apologize.” He has yet to respond to the uproar over the second clip. Dionisio Cephas: I’m Dating Kailyn Lowry!

In the past three months, Kailyn Lowry welcomed her third child , graduated from college, developed a TV pilot, and signed a new book deal. If that’s making you feel lazy or unambitious, you may want to stop reading, because somehow, the girl didn’t stop there. Following a difficult breakup with Chris Lopez , many fans assumed Kailyn would just stay single for a while. But the girl didn’t name her memoir Hustle & Heart for nothing. Ms. Lowry never slows down, and her heart seems to regenerate at twice the speed of mere mortals’. Which is why it’s not all that surprising that Kailyn has already put the past behind her and moved on with a new dude–one who apparently lives very nearby. Rumors that Kailyn is dating Dionisio Cephas began circulating last week following a flirty tweet exchange between the neighbors. (At one point, Dionisio tweeted that he lives next door to Kailyn, but he may have been joking.) Obviously, we want this relationship to happen, if for no other reason than Dionisio Cephas might be the single greatest name we’ve ever encountered. Fortunately, it looks like these two are 100 percent hooking up. Un fortunately, they’re still in that stage where neither of them wants to admit they’re officially dating. Both parties addressed their non-relationship relationship in a recent interview with Radar Online. “I wouldn’t say we’re dating. I’m not dating anyone. But if I was going to date anyone, it would be him,” Kailyn said, sounding very much like someone who’s in a new relationship and trying not to jinx it. Much rejoicing took place on social media, as Kailyn has been through a fair amount of BS over the years, and TM2 viewers have been quite vocal about their desire to see her find love and happiness. So there was some consternation and confusion amongst Lowry lovers when Kail tweeted the following over the weekend: “Just when you think you like someone they’ll give you a cool 5 reasons you’re wasting your time.” Thankfully, Dionisio (we will never get tired of typing that name) put fans’ fears to rest today, telling Radar: “Everything is fine as far as I know.” Of course, since he’s playing the same denial game as Kailyn, Cephas added: “No, we are not dating yet. Time will tell.” Dammit, we’re just gonna go ahead and make it official for them: Kailyn Lowry and Dionisio Cephas are dating, everyone! Get on social media and spread the word! Yachty joined the course for the day, where he reportedly delivered some words of advice and answered questions from students in the class. His father Shannon planned out the visit, and wrote about making it happen as a huge surprise for the school on Instagram: “The professor at #gsu had been hitting my inbox and whenever he saw me out he would say it would be so awesome if you and @lilyachty could speak with my students. The time finally presented itself. Miles was off tour and to be honest he needed to relax but he was open to speaking. It meant a lot to the students cuz no one knew. My only request is that he not tell the students. I wanted to sneak in and out. Well we snuck in but by the time we left it was a mob outside the school. Lol they asked him a lot of questions on do’s & Dont’s when it comes to interviewing celebrities. He preached do you!!
