Florida Woman Plotted To Kill Daughter’s Boyfriend Over Lice Florida is really America’s basement … Via AJC : A woman in Florida was arrested after plotting to kill her daughter’s homeless boyfriend for allegedly giving her grandchildren lice, the Daytona News-Journal reports. According to New Smyrna Beach police, Pamela Vanorsdale, 50, called her former son-in-law, Daniel Dionne, 33, on Thursday asking him to kill 22-year-old Dylan Loveless. Police found out about the planned murder when Dionne went to a Daytona Beach police detective, News-Journal reports. Vanorsdale said she also wanted Loveless killed because “he messed with Dionne’s children, choked one of the kids and chased another child with dogs while making sexual comments to the child,” police told the News-Journal. Vanorsdale told Dionne she would lure Loveless away from his homeless camp by telling him about potential work, then give Dionne a .25-caliber handgun with two bullets, which “would do the job if Dionne were to pop him in the head and chest,” investigators said. She also suggested Dionne leave Loveless’ body in South Carolina and then give her the gun back “because she could clean it and make it look like it was never fired,” police told the News-Journal. When questioned by police Vanorsdale said she was only joking when she asked Dionne to kill Loveless. Her husband then gave police the handgun, according to the police report. Vanorsdale was charged with criminal solicitation to commit murder and was released from jail on a $25,000 bail. SMH!!!!!

Florida Man Cuts Off Dreadlocks So He Can Find Employment Dominick Davis, 41, of Jacksonville, Fla., had not had a haircut in 10 years, preferring to wear his hair in dreadlocks . Davis recently cut them off because he believes that his hair might have preventing him from finding employment. Via The Root reports: “It’s time for a change, because enough is enough,” Davis, an ex-offender who served six years in prison, told Action News Jax. “People feel like everyone that has dreads are bad people or they’re criminals,” he added, noting that he’s hoping that the change in his appearance since his recent release may help him secure employment. Davis told the news station that the uptick in Jacksonville crime by those described as having “dreads” also hasn’t helped him. “You turn on the TV, and if they have a suspect, the description is a person with dreads,” said Davis, who told the news station that conforming to a professional look is part of seeking a job, and if dreads are attached to negativity, then he doesn’t want any part. “You absolutely have to dress. You can’t go on an interview with jeans, T-shirt. You’re basically selling yourself,” he said. Looks like Giuliana Rancic and other stereotyping haters win this round….

Love And Hip Hop Star Nikki Says She Knew Mally Mal Cheated Nikki Mudarris admits she was embarrassed watching Mally Mal cozy up to Masika Kalysha on “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.” Via S2S Magazine reports: Although they were broken up during the time that Mally and Masika dated, Nikki said it wasn’t easy watching her man with another woman. “It’s tough to watch. Congrats !!! Black Woman Behind Lay’s Wasabi-Ginger Chips Wins Grand Prize America has rejected the idea of cappuccino-flavored Lay’s potato chips. Via The Grio reports: Meneko Spigner McBeth’s bank account is about to have quite a few additional zeros. On Monday night, Frito-Lay announced that McBeth, a registered nurse, was the winner of its “Do Us a Flavor” contest to create a new potato chip flavor, reports NBC4 New York. McBeth’s winning idea for wasabi-ginger chips beat out entries for cappuccino, mango salsa, and cheddar-bacon mac and cheese flavors. Her wasabi-ginger fascination grew the first time she tasted the combination while eating sushi. “That was the way I had to have my sushi from now on,” she told the news station. For her idea McBeth, from Deptford, N.J., will receive $1 million or a portion of the year in sales—whichever figure is larger. What was your favorite chip flavor??

How the hell did this guy think he was going to be able to get away with anything with a grill like this?!?!?!?!?! Via NYDailyNews: A 425-pound gang member in Southern California has been arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap a 10-year-old boy on his way to soccer practice. Victor Joseph Espinoza, 55, lured the boy close enough to grab him Thursday afternoon at a park in Santa Ana, Calif., police said. The victim was able to break free and ran to tell his coach and an adult cousin what happened. The coach went looking for Espinoza and tried to detain him, but because of the suspect’s size, he was unsuccessful, KTLA reported. “I was just mad at the time because the kid was crying,” the coach, who was not identified, told the news station. Police found Espinoza in a nearby yard and arrested him. A known gang member, he was booked on false imprisonment and child annoying, KTLA reported. SMH. That chin though!!!!

Norway didn’t exactly roll out the red carpet for Snoop Dogg, stopping the rapper for pot possession. Fortunately, it didn’t throw the book at him either. Upon arriving at Oslo airport today in the country’s capital, Snoop was held by customs after a canine unit sniffed out a small amount of marijuana. Knock us over with a feather. This hasn’t happened since … January . Lucky for Snoop, Norway marijuana laws are lax; up to 15 grams is generally considered personal use and punishable by a fine of 5000 kroner ($827). So no criminal charges for the Doggfather, though he was also found to possess a large amount of cash exceeding legal limits and fined for that too. Total penalties: 52,000 kroner, or $8,600, which he paid – he was carrying massive amounts of cash after all – and then was sent on his way. Not a bad day for Norwegian customs officials or Snoop really. Customs officers who stopped him told the news outlet that he was polite throughout and they were not aware of who he was until he showed ID. Snoop Dogg, who was in Norway to perform as one of the headliners of the Hove Festival, was asked by VGTV why he was five hours late to the event. “Man, shut the f–k up,” he snapped, in big white shades emblazoned with his moniker. “I’m here… be happy I’m here and ask some real questions.” Point taken.

Nice to see some equal opportunity pant-saggin’ prejudice. Billie Joe Armstrong’s Labor Day weekend is off to a rocky start after the Green Day frontman was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight Thursday for having pants that hung too low. Armstrong was traveling from Oakland, Calif., to Burbank, Calif., when the incident occurred. Cindy Qiu, an associate producer at ABC 7 in Oakland who was on the flight, told the news agency that when a flight attendant asked Armstrong to pull his pants up, he asked: “Don’t you have better things to do then worry about that?” When the attendant asked again, also threatening to have Armstrong removed from the flight, he retorted “I’m just trying to get to my f**king seat.” This isn’t the first time an incident like this has occurred. In June, a US Airways passenger was arrested after he refused to pull up his saggy pants. Prosecutors later said they would not file charges against him. Billie took to his Twitter (as celebs always do) to voice his displeasure with his Southwest experience. Southwest Airlines responded (via Twitter) Its messed up that Billie Joe got kicked off the plane, but we can’t help but feel a little better knowing that airlines aren’t just targeting “urban” youth with their “no sagging” policy.
