Source: Sony / Sony The first trailer for Mr. Rogers’ A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood starring Tom Hanks as the beloved Fred McFeely Rogers has arrived. Yes, it’ll have you in your feelings. While it’s not the biopic most people thought it was detailing Roger’s rise to heartfelt fame, A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood centers around journalist Lloyd Vogel (Matthew Rhys), who’s tasked with writing a profile on the iconic TV star. Ultimately what he ends up getting is some life inspiring lessons and witnessing firsthand just how beloved Mr. Rogers is by all who know him and are familiar with his show. This one definitely looks like a tearjerker. Check out the trailer for A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood below and let us know if you’ll be checking for this come Thanksgiving weekend. Toy Story 4 is phenomenal and I personally think it’s the best one of the bunch. It’s more diverse than ever as Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and her new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion for Woody when he bumps into his long-lost friend Bo Peep. We also get to meet Bunny and Ducky voiced by Keenan Michael Key and Jordan Peele who add so much flavor to this Toy Story we can call it soul food. Throw in Combat Carl and Giggle McDimples and this is easily the most diverse movie in the franchise. On this episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine we go inside Toy Story 4 and I ask Tom Hanks who plays the iconic Woody and Tim Allen to discuss the diversity in Toy Story 4. Tom emphatically states “It’s got to be done! This is the way we live now, so it’s got to be diverse.” Tom is no stranger to diversity and being well informed in the culture with his Black Jeopardy skit on SKL being the second most popular video on their channel. So I decided to test his Black Card by asking him and Tim a couple of questions on Black Culture and Tom aced it. He stated that Jay Z and Nas is the biggest debate in Black America and knows how to handle himself on the spades table revealing he learned to go big watching people play Whist in Oakland, California. “I go deep baby! I go deep. Now when I was in Oakland, California they all played whist.” Tom acts out slamming cards on the table, “Kids were playing Whist man, but That’s like a version of spades.”

If the movies 13 going on 30 , BIG and Freaky Friday were combined together the end result would be LITTLE . Marsai Martin stars in and executive produces Universal Pictures’ LITTLE , a comedy directed by Tina Gordon who also directed Peeples and ATL, that is produced by Will Packer the man who brought you smash hits like Girls Trip, Ride Along, and Think Like a Man franchise. The film tells a story of a woman named Jordan played by Regina Hall, who is a cut throat-stickler of a boss to her tech-savvy assistant, April played by Issa Rae. Jordan terrorizes her employees daily until a magical wish turns grown-up Jordan into a kid again, played by Marsai Martin. Imagine waking up as your 13-year-old self again, what would you do?. We sat down with Issa Rae and said if Little Issa could give big Issa advice she would tell her “I would tell her to have more fun, we wanted this, what are you stressing for? Why are you doing this much work? Where’s the play at and I’d listen to her too”. LITTLE is humorous and heartwarming as we watch the mean CEO learn her life lessons. The character Jordan must face her past of middle school, accepting her true self and making real friends. Regina Hall shared some of her life reflections saying, “Life doesn’t give you what you want, you should never think “I should have”, that just makes you miserable; It’s more than just being gracious, there‘s a lot of existences that go on in the world and I think we just get spoiled, or what we are entitled to. There is always something to be grateful for”. Halls performance was witty and fun to watch, her strong attitude carried the character of Jordan throughout the entire film. Issa Rae and Marsai Martin have an undeniable on-camera connection that made the comedic moments click right on time. Martin not only pitched this film but also drew inspiration from one of her favorite films BIG starring Tom Hanks. If you look deeper into the movie you will see where the uplifting messages arise. We spoke with Regina Hall and Issa Rae about uplifting each other in a work setting, black competition, creating opportunities, staying true to you regardless of outside circumstances, Black girl magic and more. LITTLE will give you feel good laughs from beginning to end. Don’t miss it in theatres this Friday, April 12th .
M arsai Martin —best known for her role on the hit show Black-ish —is going to hit a historic milestone in the entertainment industry. According to Pop Sugar , Martin is on track to become the youngest executive producer in Hollywood history. #Blackish star @MarsaiMartin and mega-producer @WillpowerPacker on the melanated magic of 'Little' https://t.co/AI0cr2y3hs pic.twitter.com/siR0KjSboz — Shadow and Act (@shadowandact) January 9, 2019 Martin, 14, stars alongside actresses Regina Hall and Issa Rae in the film Little , the news outlet writes. Aside from playing a lead role in the film, she led behind the camera as well; serving as executive producer for the project. When the film is released in the spring, she will be named the youngest executive producer in Hollywood history. The film Little is inspired by the 1988 movie Big that starred Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia . In the film, Regina Hall’s character transforms into her 13-year-old self and has to go through childhood all over again. Martin started pitching the film when she was only 11-years-old. She took to Twitter to share the trailer with her fans this week. Little is directed by Tina Gordon and written by Black screenwriter Tracy Oliver . The cast and crew of this film are the epitome of #BlackGirlMagic. Will Packer , James Lopez , Kenya Barris also served as producers for the project. “I was very comfortable [on set] because they were my people,” Martin said in an interview with Essence . “Working on a bunch of sets, you kind of don’t see that often. The more comfortable you are, the more confident you are — in how you say your lines or how you perform in a certain scene because you’re working with great people, who will watch over you and won’t let you down.” Martin also added that she hopes this milestone will inspire other young Black filmmakers and creatives to push their dreams forward. The film is slated to make its debut in theaters on April 12. During a visit to the set last Fall, BOSSIP got a chance to talk to Marsai about Little . She discussed coming up with the concept for the film at just 10 years old, being grateful, and more. “I was talking to Daddy and Mommy about some of their favorite movies when they were growing up and one of mine was BIG with Tom Hanks,” Marsai told BOSSIP at the time. “So that’s really how the idea was brought out, that’s where it all started and we started brainstorming, to see how we could create a black girl magic situation.” She continued, “At the Season 1 of black-ish , I think it was the season finale, dad went to Kenya like ‘Marsai has this dope idea.’ Kenya ended up liking it and right after was calling Will [Packer] like ‘Yo… Diane from black-ish has a dope idea.’ After that we had a meeting with him and James [Lopez] and after that he bought it and after that we went to Universal and they bought it and it wasn’t long before we shot it. I mean like, three years?” “I’m very grateful and very honored that they were just like saying yes to this 10-year-old who just popped out with this blazer and all of these things,” Marsai added. “They could have said no but they actually believed in me and the story we wanted to tell.” Hit the flip for more fabulous photos of Marsai with her black-ish squad and let us know if you’ll be tuning in to Little this spring.
I am a big fan of Dylan Penn…not only because she’s got big tits, or because we’ve seen her nudes when the nudes were leaked, reminding us that she’s got great tits, and is good at masturbating, like most people probably are….I mean if you’re going to do it, you might as well be good at it…and I guess it’s be hard to be bad at it…since even retards, like full fledged retards are good at it…they do it everywhere…especially at the public pool on retard swim day… That said, Dylan Penn, celebrity child…her mom is Jenny from Forrest Gump…her brother Hailey Joel Osment, who is now known as Emily Osment…her dad Tom Hanks…which is weird…but I guess Sean Penn adopted her…. I appreciate some Celebrity kids, not most celebrity kids, but the ones who aren’t annoying cunts, but rather who know their parents are famous and find happiness and comfort in that, and who don’t really try to go out there and become a Kardashian..or the girl in 50 Shades of Grey… There are always a few dialed in and connected rich kids who are just all around awesome, and then there are those who are the fucking opposite of that…so until Dylan Penn gets annoying…she’s great…and I’m not just saying that cuz she’s hot in a bikini…fucking on the beach….practicing her surfing on some boners….or maybe I am.
