The Conjuring Trailer: The Real Family Talks

The Perron family has been silent about the horrifying things they apparently witnessed in their house decades ago. But now that there’s a movie being made about their story, they’ve decided to speak up. Hear from the real Perron family in the new trailer for The Conjuring , which is based on their lives. The Conjuring Movie Trailer Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as the Warrens, a pair of paranormal investigators who are called upon to study the Perron family’s supposedly haunted home. What they find is one of the most terrifying demonic presences they’ve ever faced. Lili Taylor, Ron Livingston, Mackenzie Foy, Shannon Kook, Joey King, Hayley McFarland, Stanley Caswell, John Brotherton, and Steve Coulter also star. The Conjuring is directed by James Wan, and premieres July 19.

Three months after a condo fire tragically killed her dog, Ashley Greene is putting her life back together. With the help of two adorable new puppies. The Twilight Saga beauty showed off her positively adorable young canines in an Instagram photo this week, writing along with it: “Today felt like a great day to rescue a puppy… Or two! I couldn’t take a brother without his sister! #spotrescue #love #life #theosnewfam.” All readers together now: AWWW!!!!!

Grab the Kleenex. 35-year-old Australian Kristian Anderson was diagnosed with bowel cancer that spread to his liver in October of last year, and as a birthday gift to thank his native New Zealander wife Rachel for supporting him through chemotherapy, Kristian produced a video that includes Hugh Jackman, New Zealand Prime Minister John Key, lots of “Subterranean Homesick Blues”-like poster boards, a Train song called ” Marry Me ,” and their two adorable children. So You Think You Can Dance ‘s audition caravan rolled into Chicago and Los Angeles last night, the proud homes of the Sears Tower and eye-searing towers of pollution. Overall, the ladies earned more direct tickets to Las Vegas, but the two most memorable auditions of the night swung towards the XY half of the audition pool. Prepare thy proudest “That’s my baby! ” shrieks for two adorable gents — one who exemplifies small-town values, and another who won’t let deafness stop him from dancing.
