After protesting that she didn’t even want to hear that name, Christina opened up on how she really felt about the famous fellator still clinging onto her new love ( around the 5:45 mark ): “The thing with that situation is, I feel like that name shouldn’t even be in the category or in the same sentence as my name. I feel like we’re two different levels. They’re looking for attention. I have a lot of very positive attention by the fans, but not only the fans, but also the media. Gucci said phuck yo show. Gucci Mane Sued By Concert Promoter 15 minutes? That’s worse than waitng three hours for Rihanna to perform. According to TMZ Gucci Mane tried to pull a fast one and perform two gigs in one night — in two different states — so says the pissed off concert promoter, who’s suing the alleged two-timing rapper. Empire Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Gucci — real name Radric Davis — claiming it paid him $22,500 to perform in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 22nd … but didn’t get their money’s worth. Here’s why: Empire says prior to the gig, a nightclub in Tennessee began advertising a Gucci show for the same night — and says Gucci himself promoted it on Twitter. Empire says it called Gucci’s people — who assured them, no TN gig was happening. But the night of the concert, Empire says it became clear Gucci’s people lied … claiming the rapper only performed 3 songs (15 min of stage time) and then hightailed it 138 miles to perform at the other club. Then drove back to stay in the hotel Empire provided. Empire says Gucci’s 2nd gig torpedoed their ticket sales. The company is suing for breach of contract and fraud. It wants all the cash it spent on his fee, hotel, travel and promotions. Gucci tried to be slick and now he has to cough up those coins….we know Gucci isn’t ballin’ like that. Breaking up is hard to do, but sometimes, things change and you have to move on. So says D.L. Hughley in calling it quits with Chick-fil-A. The comedian penned a letter to The Huffington Post confirming the split , saying he and the chain are “growing in two different directions.” Mainly on account of Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy’s stance against gay marriage , of course. Here’s what Hughley had to say about it… Hughley said he felt forced to “choose between my heart and my stomach,” but had no choice, since “baby, lately you’ve been doing me dirty.” “You’ve been speaking with a forked tongue, spewing hate instead of frying love,” the comedian deadpanned … Ed Helms would surely agree. “Who would have thought a chicken sandwich would become a symbol for both free speech and intolerance at the same time?” While supporting Chick-fil-A’s boss’ right to believe and vote how he pleases, Hughley lamented Cathy’s use of Bible verses to make his point. “You say that gay marriage is a sin, like in Leviticus 19:22. But a preceding verse, Leviticus 17:14, says, ‘You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.” “You don’t cook your chicken in a kosher way. On what grounds are you picking and choosing which edicts to follow?” “But like the Good Book says, we need sanctuaries in this world, places where a man can go to escape his thoughts. That used to be you.” “Now I have to wonder if I’m doing the right thing when I step inside your doors, if I am subsidizing perspectives that I am vehemently opposed to.” “Ignorance is bliss, girl, especially in your industry.” Hughley adds that Chick-fil-A changed, not him. “So Chick-fil-A, baby, I guess what I’m struggling to say, as I fight back the tears and wipe the grease from my fingers, is this … It’s not that I don’t love you.” “we both know that’s not true.
