Cops say they responded to a domestic dispute call on Thursday and found Larondrick Macklin, 31, with burns on his face. Spencer Pratt has vowed revenge against those whom he felt “wronged him.” But he and Heidi aren’t focused on the negative. Talking about Baby #2 is very much focusing on the positive, but when do they plan for this to go down? To hear Heidi tell it, she fully expects to start trying to get pregnant as soon as possible. The clock is ticking, folks! On Thursday, July 25, Heidi Montag was in attendance at the Booby Tape USA Launch Party. There, she revealed to Us Weekly that she and Spencer are already making plans to expand their family. It’s not just that they want a second child. They apparently have a timeframe in mind for when they would like to start trying to conceive. “Hopefully in a few months,” Heidi reveals. “We’ll start trying” Heidi also gushed about little Gunner Stone, who will be two years old in just a couple of months. “He’s starting to talk a lot more, which is really fun,” Heidi reveals. Different babies develop linguistic skills at different ages and rates. “He loves TV,” Heidi notes. “Which is great for traveling and he’s running the sprints everywhere.” She brags: “[He’s] just a lot of fun.” Contrary to some concerns about screen time and child development, TV in moderation can be wonderfully stimulating for children. It sounds like Gunner really does take after his parents — and especially hi dad. The adorable baby also “loves [playing with] crystals.” Heidi also shares that he enjoys being in the presence of the The Hills: New Beginnings camera crew. “He loves an audience,” she explains. “He’s a great artist, actually,” Heidi brags. “He loves painting, and he’s really great at the piano.” Spencer spoke just last month about what Heidi is like as a mother. “Heidi was a very, very intense-attachment parent,” Spencer shared. “I’m sure some would say extreme,” he admitted. “But to me it was just being a super mom.” “To be honest, if it [wasn’t] for The Hills , I don’t know if she would have ever left Gunner’s side,” Spencer confessed. It turns out that Heidi wonders the same thing. This week, Heidi also acknowledged that the show “was actually a blessing in disguise.” Or just a blessing. They’re getting money and reality stardom again. How many people get a second chance like that? “It was nice because I wouldn’t have left [Gunner],” she admitted. “And I kind of needed a little encouragement and motivation to do that.” “It’s still really hard for me to leave him,” Heidi shared. Obviously, the most fun for me is being home and being with my son and I love being a mom,,” Heidi emphasized. “[But] at the same time, it’s good for both of us to go out sometimes,” she points out very correctly. Honestly, hearing that Gunner likes crystals is almost too funny. It’s not surprising — most humans like them — but for Spencer, they were once a financially devastating addiction. And, since his kid was in the middle of the fight, along with 3 other children, he’s also been charged with child abuse and endangerment. Thompson told USA Today that he is honored to be part of a push to change the way we look at our fatherhood. “There’s a stereotype that’s out there that dads in general, not just a particular race, are not connected to their kids and not affectionate,” Thompson stressed, adding, “This should have been displaced a long time ago.” So why now for this much-needed representation? “We really believe in celebrating all parents and the great job that parents are doing,” Huggies North America brand director Kristine Rhode recently told USA Today. Information was presented in court of the video that was recorded in 2014 by 46-year-old Gregory Stanton after he tampered with the production line at the plant. He was indicted in September on charges of tampering with consumer products with the intent to cause serious injury. An indictment says that Stanton was a contract worker at that same Kellogg’s plant in April of 2014, when he recorded a video of himself urinating into a bucket and then dumping the contents into the Raisin Bran production line. He also recorded himself urinating into a production line once again a month later. Stanton ended up being officially sentenced to prison on May 24 by a U.S. District Court judge and was also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution, according to a media release. For the first time, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss America are all Black women and the three appeared on CBS to describe their journey and groundbreaking wins: “It’s symbolic, I think, and it sends a message across the world really that you can be anything you want to be, and there doesn’t have to be just one of us at a time up here,” Miss America 2019 Nia Franklin said on Tuesday. “It can be all. And I think it showcases diversity as well.” Cheslie Kryst, who won the title of Miss USA last Thursday also added, “It’s also a reminder of how far we have to go.” She continued: “I believe when Ursula Burns was no longer the CEO of Xerox, there were no more Black female CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and that is an unfortunate statistic to know. So I think this celebration or this landmark should we celebrated, but it’s also a reminder we have a lot to do.” Kryst currently serves as an attorney in North Carolina who practices civil litigation, and she also represents prisoners in pro-bono work. Miss Teen USA Kaliegh Garris , who ignored advice and proudly showcased her natural curls during the competition, also explained how representation matters: “I have all these influencers that I look up to on social media. Now I’m getting messages from moms of biracial kids, and kids themselves that are biracial. And girls that are scared to wear their hair naturally, and them saying that I have been a big influence in their lives and that they’re going to start wearing their hair naturally or that they’re more proud to just be themselves. It fills my heart with joy,” Garris said. Garris explained how she used to always straighten her hair for pageants: “It’s just kind of what I did. I looked up to my mom a lot, and she had straight blond hair. I really wanted to embody the same characteristics and I thought I had to do that physically. Kryst describes herself as a “weird kid” with a “unibrow” who’s now part of the first generation of truly empowered women.
