After spending over a week in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following his arrest on February 3, the rapper was released on bond on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from TMZ . 21’s lawyers gave a statement to the publication quickly following his release. “21 Savage asked us to send a special message to his fans and supporters — he says that while he wasn’t present at the Grammy Awards, he was there in spirit and is grateful for the support from around the world and is more than ever, ready to be with his loved ones and continue making music that brings people together,” Alex Spiro, Charles H. Kuck and Dina LaPolt said in the joint statement. “He will not forget this ordeal or any of the other fathers, sons, family members, and faceless people, he was locked up with or that remain unjustly incarcerated across the country. And he asks for your hearts and minds to be with them.” If you’re not caught up on why Savage was detained in the first place, he was arrested following a traffic stop in Atlanta in early February and was taken into custody when officials found that the rapper is actually a citizen of the United Kingdom. ICE spokesman Bryan Cox said at the time, “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ‘21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta. Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.” Though authorities initially claimed that Savage’s visa expired in July 2006, his legal team later debunked that story. But now, celebrations are in order that 21 has finally been released from the detention center he was held in for over a week–although, he didn’t get off completely scot-free; The rapper was released on bond pending a deportation hearing and luckily, his attorneys say that 21 was granted an expedited hearing. With that being said, 21 FINALLY getting out as he should of when he was first arrested is something to be happy about, and fans are definitely celebrating this occasion. Watch out, there's a new Florida Woman on the loose. A woman in Pompano Beach was arrested for animal abuse after she showed up to a bar with puppies stuffed into her bag. Not only were the puppies not getting enough air, but things got worse when the woman began swinging the bag around. Oh no! Broward Sheriffs arrested Teresa Gardner for animal abuse back in December. 2018 was a year of nonstop stress and unrelenting news cycles, which is perhaps why this outlandish story is now making the rounds. Gardner was charged with multiple counts, including tormenting animals and resisting arrest. Witnesses report having seen Gardner swinging the backpack around. She reportedly struck the bag on tables and benches. That would be unacceptable behavior under any circumstances, but the bag's contents made her conduct infinitely worse. Before coming to the Briny Irish Pub located off East Atlantic Boulevard, Gardner had stuffed four chihuahua puppies into her backpack. (We should note that some sources say that the mother of the puppies was also in the bag, but not all reports mention her presence) It is not clear where the chihuahuas originated before they were placed in the bag. Though Gardner initially pulled back and said “no” when police attempted to take the bag, they were able to rescue the puppies. Sadly, the dogs appeared to be crying and the police report says that they had been tormented by the ordeal. Furthermore, they were apparently so cramped within the bag that the four-week-old puppies were not getting enough oxygen. (Note: these are not the puppies in question, but much happier chihuahua puppies for a visual reference) The one piece of good news is that all of the puppies survived. Authorities took the small family of dogs to an animal rescue clinic. Veterinarians say that the puppies do not have any broken bones and do not have any severe bruises. However, handlers did note that the dogs were traumatized by the ordeal, and may have been traumatized even before they were stuffed into the bag. Notably, the chihuahua mother was deeply protective of the puppies and does not appear to trust any humans, even the caring veterinary staff, around her puppies. Given their experiences, that is very understandable. Gardner was held on $500 bond, which unfortunately shows you how seriously our court system takes animal abuse. Authorities themselves were horrified, and expressed their dismay at how anyone could do such a thing. For that matter, a spokesperson for the police expressed confusion over why anyone would bring a bag full of puppies into a bar to begin with. We hesitate to call this a “new low” for Florida Woman, because she's hit rock bottom before. But this is the kind of evil, despicable deed that you read about, only for it to keep you up, nights later, as you wonder what those puppies experienced. What a nightmare.

After the fashion brand’s blackface snafu, Money Mayweather gleefully stunted on the boycott by going on a Gucci shopping spree. TMZ Sports reports : The boxer — along with his entire TMT crew — rolled into Gucci in Bev Hills … and when we told him about all of the stars calling for a Gucci ban over a sweatshirt that resembled blackface, Floyd scoffed. “I’m not no follower, I do what the f*ck I wanna do,” Floyd told us. When we told Floyd that stars like T.I. and Spike Lee would be upset with him, Floyd laughed. “You said they’re gonna be upset with me? I love it, I love it, I love it. It took a while, but Mexican cartel leader Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera was convicted today (Feb. 12) in a Brooklyn federal district court of multiple crimes including operating a continuing criminal enterprise and multiple charges of conspiracy to import and distribute cocaine, heroin and marijuana. He was found guilty of all the charges he was facing. El Chapo is also infamous for escaping not one but two supermax prisons in Mexico. But don’t expect such finesse stateside. Reports the New York Times : The guilty verdict against the kingpin, whose real name is Joaquín Guzmán Loera, ended the career of a legendary outlaw who also served as a dark folk hero in Mexico, notorious for his innovative smuggling tactics, his violence against competitors, his storied prison breaks and his nearly unstoppable ability to evade the Mexican authorities. The jury’s decision came more than a week after the panel started deliberations at the trial in Federal District Court in Brooklyn where prosecutors presented a mountain of evidence against the cartel leader, including testimony from 56 witnesses, 14 of whom once worked with Mr. Guzmán. He faces life in prison at his sentencing. Needless to say, the trial was bananas. Case in point: At times, the trial was so bizarre it felt like a drug-world telenovela unfolding live in the courtroom. Last month, one of Mr. Guzmán’s mistresses tearfully proclaimed her love for him even as she testified against him from the stand. The following day, in what seemed like a coordinated show of solidarity, the kingpin and his wife, Emma Coronel Aispuro, appeared in court in matching red velvet smoking jackets. Toward the end of the proceeding, Alejandro Edda, an actor who plays El Chapo on the Netflix series “Narcos: Mexico,” showed up at the trial to study Mr. Guzmán. The crime lord flashed an ecstatic smile when told Mr. Edda had come to see him. El Chapo is accused of making a whopping $14 billion during his run. Today (Feb. 12), the Roc Nation singer shared video footage and texts that cast the “Mo Bamba” rapper in the worst of lights. Yesterday (Feb. 11), Skye finally named Wes as her abuser (it was all Internet speculation beforehand) while claiming his goons attacked her and her boyfriend, rapper GoldLink. Afterward, Sheck Wes took Twitter to deny putting hands on any woman. Skye saw his denial, and doubled down on her accusations. Responding to his denial on Twitter, she wrote, “I literally have footage of you jumping over the fence of my crib to attack me Sheck… your lies are even more disrespectful.” I literally have footage of you jumping over the fence of my crib to attack me Sheck… your lies are even more disrespectful https://t.co/1idhM1p6Ue — Justine Skye (@JustineSkye) February 12, 2019 And yes, she shared said footage, but not before sharing a screen cap of a text revealing she feared for her safety. For several months now, we've suspected that confrontations between Jenelle Evans and David Eason frequently turn violent. Jenelle's 911 call from back in October provided a harrowing insight into the couple's tumultuous and likely abusive relationship. Evans later dismissed the situation as a “drunk and dramatic misunderstanding,” but domestic violence victims are often quick to defend their abusers — a fact that Jenelle's mother, Barbara Evans, pointed out during Monday night's episode of Teen Mom 2 . In a heartbreaking scene, a tearful Babs fretted over her daughter's safety and worried that David might eventually “cost her everything.” For those in denial it served as a wakeup call — and for David's many critics, it confirmed what they've long suspected. Take a look: 1. Better Days Jenelle and David’s relationship has always been an emotional rollercoaster, but over the past year, the marriage has had far more valleys than peaks. 2.
