He is still here. According to Vulture , director Clint Eastwood is looking to cast Joaquin Phoenix opposite the rumored Leonardo DiCaprio in Hoover . Phoenix would star as Clyde Tolson, the “reputed paramour and protégé” of Hoover (DiCaprio), in the Dustin Lance Black-scripted biopic. Hopefully this role doesn’t require any onscreen vomiting .
