‘Heavy Is The Head’ Here’s What Kevin Hart Thinks About Katt Williams’ $5 Million Standup Challenge…

“#FuelHateByAchievingMoreSuccess”— Kevin Hart Kevin Hart Responds To Katt Williams Remember when we told you that Katt Williams issued a $5 million standup challenge to “puppet” Kevin Hart ??? “I got a show at your hometown, in Philly, I’ma tape my special there,” said Katt. “On that stage, we can put whatever you want: a full-court basketball court, a boxing ring, two microphones for a rap cypher, or you can get your a** dusted in comedy on that stage. But it’s one million dollars up for each one. That $5 million, Mr. $28 million in Forbes. I’ll be bringin’ mine in cash, Mitch. Bring yours however you want. And since you not a puppet, don’t bring no white people with you then.” Well Kevin is now responding in a subtle way. Kev virtually ignored Katt’s challenge on Instagram this week… before posting a picture with a caption about “fueling hate” titled “heavy is the head that wears the crown.” WELP! Sounds like you’re not getting that battle Katt. What do YOU think about the Kevin Hart/Katt Williams beef???

Love & Hip Hop Season 6 Episode 1 Recap: Who Wears the Crown?

Last night,  Love & Hip Hop Season 6 Episode 1  made a triumphant return to VH1, as Remy Ma made his long-awaited comeback to boot. After six years behind bars. Meanwhile, Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris are facing the possibility of him doing some hard time. If you  watch Love & Hip Hop online , you knew coming in that there would be no shortage of drama with these lunatics. You were correct. We begin with new cast member Remy Ma, who was released last year from a New York prison after serving six years in the pen. Her husband, the rapper Papoose, is tasked with trying to keep Ma out of trouble because she’s on parole. Not an easy task right there. He wants to make sure she never misses curfew, unable to bear the thought of his wife going back to the can and leaving him again. Papoose asks Remy about them having a child together (both have kids from previous relationships), but she wants a wedding first. A real wedding, not the one they had over the phone in jail. No one can say Papoose didn’t take those words to heart. He whisked Remy Ma away to a castle where he proposed all over again. Yandy and Mendeecees could use some of that magic. Even after he singed a plea deal, Mendeecees and Yandy learned that he is very possibly headed back to prison for eight years. That would be a pretty big relationship buzzkill there. It wouldn’t be Love & Hip Hop without the man, the myth, the legend Peter Gunz, and his drama with Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly. It’s just as messy as it was last year, which is impressive really. Peter is cheating on Amina with Tara, and that’s not even all: Both ladies are now living in the same damn building!  Amina accuses him of banging Tara, which he denies, and hopefully sets the stage for another whole season of this charade. Meanwhile, Yandy is managing Young B, who had a hit once but needs a career boost, and lands a role on a cypher DJ Self is having. Of course, Young B’s nemesis Moe is also in the cypher with Sexxy Lexxy and Mariah Lynn, and an epic freestyle battle ensues. Then an actual battle. Which security has to break up.

Kate Gosselin Whines: What Will My Family Do?!

“I’m freaking out. Big time.” – Kate Gosselin In the newest People magazine , America’s most notorious reality mom is whining about the demise of Kate Plus 8 and worrying about the future of her family. We feel bad for the kids, yet are somehow unsympathetic toward her. The pizza tirade didn’t exactly help our image of Kate. After Kate Plus 8 got canceled , Kate was the first to admit that the transition from reality star to regular mom wasn’t going to be an easy one. Her kids, twins Cara and Mady, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel “weren’t ready,” to leave the show, she claims. “Nobody was. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up,” says the grating banshee. “I don’t know what’s next.” “I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school. There are no guarantees in life for anyone.” Funny that the cancellation of the show, which will undoubtedly cause the children a lifetime of problems, is now being cited as a problem. The final episode of Kate Plus 8 , truly the end of an error, airs Monday. [Photo: Fame Pictures]

Robert Pattinson to Star as King Arthur?

Kristen Stewart will star in next year’s Snow White and the Huntsman as an iconic fictional character from years past. Now, a new rumor says boyfriend Robert Pattinson may do the same. Heavy, and HOT, is the head that wears the crown. Rob is reportedly in negotiations to star in Pendragon as King Arthur, a role that has been played numerous times over the years by such stars as Sean Connery and Clive Owen. This reimagining of the Camelot story will be directed by Sylvain White and produced by Michael Connolly. There must be some mistake, however: in the tale, Arthur’s wife cheats on him with Sir Lancelot and, come on, get serious filmmakers. Who would ever cheat on Robert Pattinson?!?

‘Last Exorcism’ Tops Friday Box Office

‘Takers’ with T.I. and Chris Brown nabs second place. By Mawuse Ziegbe Ashley Bell in “The Last Exorcism” Photo: Lionsgate The Box-Office Top Five #1 “The Last Exorcism” ($9.4 million) #2 “Takers” ($7.5 million) #3 “The Expendables” ($2.7 million) #4 “Eat Pray Love” ($ 2.2 million) #5 “The Other Guys” ($1.9 million) “The Last Exorcism” scared up major ticket sales on its opening day. The supernatural horror flick raked in an estimated $9.4 million on Friday. “Exorcism,” which is directed by Daniel Stamm and boasts gore-master Eli Roth of the “Hostel” series fame as a producer, drew enough moviegoers to grab the top spot. The film, which follows a documentary crew in rural Louisiana hired to capture the creepy antics of a supposedly possessed young girl, goes light on digital wizardry in favor of scoring scares with practical effects. In the second place slot is the star-studded heist flick “Takers.” T.I., Chris Brown, Idris Elba, Hayden Christensen and Matt Dillon work the screen in a story about a crew of suave thieves set to carry out a major job. The thriller snatched $7.5 million in Friday ticket sales. Sliding to third place is the heavily-armed action fest “The Expendables.” The fiery, butt-kicking flick raised $2.7 million on Friday, after ruling the box office for the past two weeks and sitting comfortably at the top spot. Friday’s haul edges the total domestic tally of the Sylvester Stallone-helmed enterprise near the $75 million mark. “Eat Pray Love,” featuring marquee vet Julia Roberts, settled into fourth place. The soul-searching movie adapted from the runaway hit memoir of the same name, nabbed $2.2 million in box office receipts on Friday. The loopy cop comedy “The Other Guys” continues to power along, taking in $1.9 million and rounding out Friday’s top movies in the fifth-place slot. Although “Avatar” wears the crown for the highest-grossing film ever, the re-release of the James Cameron adventure, revamped with previously unreleased footage, failed to crack the top ten with only $1.2 million in Friday ticket sales. Lady Gaga’s ‘Alejandro’ Video Might Not Top ‘Telephone,’ But Why Should It?

Gaga may have reached a point in her career where not even she can top herself, in Bigger Than the Sound. By James Montgomery Lady Gaga in “Alejandro” Photo: Interscope Records Sometimes, being Lady Gaga must be a bummer. Take the Tuesday premiere of her much-anticipated “Alejandro” video : Though it features more odes to Brecht than a six penny opera and singlehandedly broke Twitter when it debuted, it’s being called a Madonna knockoff by some (check the comments on this Entertainment Weekly story ), “pretentious” by others (see the comments on this CNN.com piece ) and even a “disappointment” by some fans. While I don’t think those reactions are particularly warranted (or particularly fair), they prove what Gaga is up against these days. After a meteoric, improbable rise to the top of the pop universe, she may have finally reached the point in her career where not even she can top herself. It happens to all the greats — it’s just never happened this quickly. Case in point, people’s biggest qualm with “Alejandro” seems to be that it’s not “Telephone.” They complain that it’s long, redundant and self-indulgent — and all these things are funny to me, because they’re the same problems people had with “Telephone” when it was first released. Only now (in the span of just three short months), it’s viewed as her classic, the one against which all other Gaga clips shall be judged. Shoot, “Alejandro” doesn’t even have the product placement “Telephone” did (remember how much people raged about that ?), and yet folks are already rushing to bury it. Of course, the “Telephone” comparisons aren’t fair. After all, the videos have nothing in common aside from the fact that they were released consecutively. But they do carry some weight, because it’s entirely possible that that video represented Gaga at the absolute peak of her powers and abilities. After months of hype, it premiered live on E!. It stretched past the nine-minute mark. It was violent. Gratuitous. Insane. Not to mention awesome. Certainly the most memorable video in recent memory. People talked about it for weeks. Analyzed every frame. Debated its content. It was sensational. And a sensation. “Alejandro,” although a fine, arty and expensive-looking thing, drew the unenviable task of having to follow all that. Which is not to say that it’s not a great video, because it certainly is. And to that end, if any other artist released it, they would have been lauded as brilliant for breathing life back into music videos. But since it’s Gaga’s name at the top, “Alejandro” was greeted with muted applause, perhaps even a stifled yawn or two. This is what happens when you’re (arguably) the biggest pop star on the planet, and you’ve made a career out of titillating, tweaking and breaking boundaries. People are always going to be wondering what’s next. And eventually, well, you reach a point where nothing you do can top your last stunt. And, yes, I realize that the majority of Gaga’s “little monsters” positively loved “Alejandro.” But then again, they love everything she does. They don’t really count in the grand scheme of things. Take a look at the bigger picture. It really seems that, for the first time I can certainly remember, a fair amount of critics and fans — be they casual or die-hard — are willing to step forward and say that they were less-than-impressed. This is a key moment in Lady Gaga’s career. Short of setting herself on fire in her next video — probably something she’s considered — I don’t know what she can do for an encore. And even then, people will probably say she’s just doing the same thing she did in the “Bad Romance” video. It’s not really fair, nor is it justified, but one day after its premiere, for all its gloss and glamour, “Alejandro” is already looking like it could be Lady Gaga’s first shark-jumping, fridge-nuking moment. Perhaps even her first misfire. This is the downside to continually churning out jaw-dropping work. Eventually, the jaws just don’t drop as far as they used to. Gaga has spent the past two years becoming an international icon, the first truly massive star of the 21st century. Now, she might have to deal with the reality that she just can’t impress forever. Then again, let’s just wait three months for the premiere of her next music video — I can’t wait to hear what people will be saying about “Alejandro” then. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Or steampunk-inspired harness. Whatever. Questions? Concerns? Hit me up at BTTS@MTVStaff.com . Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga

Drake And Trey Songz Get Somber In ‘Successful’ Video

Clip might not be what you expect from two hot, young talents. By James Montgomery Drake in “Successful” Photo: Atlantic Records If this is a celebration, someone forgot to tell Drake and Trey Songz. When two hot, young talents collaborate on a song and it’s called “Successful,” well, you pretty much know what to expect: big, coated beats, slinky, treated vocals, and plenty of ephemera (cars, clothes, cash, clubs, chicks, etc.).
