Chrissy Teigen Denies Making Tyra Banks Leave Talk Show We reported earlier this week that Tyra Banks had quit her own daytime talk show to pursue other endeavors. According to The Hollywood Reporter the model wanted to work on her makeup collection instead. In a statement released to The Hollywood Reporter, Banks said that she wanted to scale back on her daytime duties in order to focus on her cosmetics line. “This is a very difficult decision, but necessary,” she said in the statement. FABLife is produced by Disney/ABC. Banks will remain as executive producer through December. With a bench of co-hosts and contributors – including Chrissy Teigen, fashion editor Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk and YouTube star Leah Ashley – there are no plans to replace Banks. “I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company’s other entertainment ventures. I will however continue to support the growth and success of FABLife and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show,” Banks added in her statement. No one expected Jessica Simpson to get pregnant again just seven months after the birth of her first child, daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson … well, except maybe her. Jessica Simpson on Ellen The 32-year-old singer turned fashion designer explained on Ellen today that “Apparently protection was just thrown out the window!” Apparently. Despite eschewing birth control, Simpson explained that it still caught her off guard: “We’re happy … But we were definitely extremely shocked.” It’s also been hard on their little girl. “Maxwell was our focus and then I was puking and lying on the couch,” she said, adding that the second time around as been tougher physically. “This pregnancy is the complete opposite. Like with Maxwell, I felt amazing. Like I could do everything, eat everything. Do whatever I wanted.” “I had a lot of energy. This time around I’m like exhausted.” “Eating Tums. That’s my snack of choice.” The Weight Watchers spokeswoman says she makes healthy recipes a priority when it comes to eating, but sometimes Tums is all she can handle. At least her fiance, Eric Johnson , has her back. Her man approves of Simpson no matter what her size, she added. “I can gain as much weight and I will have a husband to be that loves me,” she said.

Bieber fans, if you’re counting, that means Justin owes you 118 minutes. Maybe he can spend it staring deeply into your eyes, on a sailboat, in a Greek harbor, at dusk. Just an idea. The 02, the gigs organizers, tweeted “We are happy to report that Justin Bieber made it on stage two minutes early this evening,” after the previous night meant many young fans had to leave the show before it was finished in order to get to bed on a school night. Bieber has been having some issues lately, after his 19th birthday was ruined by a fight between his entourage and nightclub security. That’s what happens when you rate higher than the Republication National Convention . According to The Hollywood Reporter , however, the family at the center of this ridiculous smash hit won’t come cheap: the Thompsons are negotiating with the network for a sizable raise. With Honey Boo Boo’s 17-year old sister having recently given birth, expanding the show’s cast for next year, sources say the Thompsons are seeking $10,000 per episode. Here Comes Honey Boo – which is a spinoff of Toddlers & Tiaras – will air its Season 1 finale on Wednesday, September 26.
Lindsay Lohan’s hit-and-run accuser says she reeked of booze when she love tapped him with her car and was popped for a hit-and-run earlier this morning. The star is telling friends she had no idea she hit anybody and wasn’t drunk in the least, and had no idea anything was going on until the cops arrested her. Pretty much par for the course when you’re dealing with her. The short story: A minor traffic incident in NYC ended with Lindsay Lohan arrested and charged with a hit-and-run on a pedestrian shortly after midnight. Alleged victim Jose Rodriguez, a chef in NYC, spoke with the NY Daily News following the crash, saying LiLo was slurring words and “smelled like alcohol real bad.” Police say they don’t believe LiLo was drunk at the time of the arrest outside the Dream Hotel, however they acknowledge that LL did not take a breathalyzer test. Rodriguez said he’d just left work at Bottega restaurant when all of the sudden “[I] saw this car come real quick and hit me. … I was in so much pain, I fell to the side.” He claims he was taken to Bellevue Hospital and treated for torn tendons, with doctors giving him morphine to deal with the pain. Anyone out there buying this? Lindsay’s not, and hotel surveillance video may back her up. The footage shows the entire incident, starting with Linds driving into the hotel, down a ramp, and alleged victim walking in the pedestrian path she had to cross. Her car was traveling at a very slow speed and it’s unclear if she even made contact with him, though one police detective felt Lindsay’s car “grazed” his leg. Once Lindsay cleared the area and proceeded down a ramp, the video shows the alleged victim sprinting after her … supporting his claim that Lohan tagged him. At the same time, this doesn’t bolster his own account that he hit the deck and suffered torn tendons. It does not appear he confronted the star at the hotel. When Lindsay got out of the car, she didn’t seem flustered at all. In addition, sources say she was at a Slash concert prior to this, and was not drinking there. Lohan was backstage watching Slash and there was no booze served, since the rocker doesn’t drink. She left there at 11:30 and (allegedly) hit the guy at 12:12. That gives Lindsay 42 minutes to leave the show and go a mile and a half in NYC traffic … not exactly time for her to go out, get sloshed, then get in the car. Basically, it’s unclear if Lindsay hit the guy or what consequences she might face if she did, but it looks like he’s lying or at least exaggerating what went down. Why she can’t just get a driver is an open question, though. Some people should just not be behind the wheel of a car. How many times can this happen?!?

Dame Judi Dench has been diagnosed with Macular Degeneration, a condition associated with old age that is characterized by damage to one’s retina and, more often than not, leads to blindness. “I can’t read scripts any more because of the trouble with my eyes,” the veteran actress tells the U.K.’s Mirror . “And so somebody comes in and reads them to me, like telling me a story.” Dench has undergone treatment for the disease, but there’s no definitive cure. She’ll next appear in the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall , and says she has no plans of ending her career. “As long as there is a possibility of working, I’m not going to retire,” Dench says. “If I retire, nothing will work any more, and it’s hard enough as it is.” [Photo: WENN.com]
