Source: Al Messerschmidt / Getty Charles Rogers, a former player for the Detroit Lions , has died at the age of 38 according to a number of still-developing reports. Circumstances surrounding the passing of the former Michigan State University standout are still yet unknown. TMZ Sports reports : One of the people conforming his death is former Michigan State teammate Chris Baker. “Devastated to learn of the passing of my spartan brother Charles Rodgers,” Baker said. “Spoke with his mom this morning. Please pray for her and his children. Please also be respectful of their privacy at this difficult time. Rip Chuck.” Rogers was selected by the Detroit Lions and flashed huge potential — catching 22 passes for 243 yards and 2 touchdowns during his first 5 games of the ’03 season. But, he suffered a broken clavicle, which ended his rookie campaign. The outlet adds that Rogers reportedly struggled with an addiction to pain medication after he suffered another broken clavicle in the 2004 season and was cut by the Lions for good in 2006. Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty Kodak Black will soon learn exactly how much time he will be receiving. The Florida rapper pleaded guilty to firearm charges and he will be sentenced this week. Per XXL , Black will learn his fate Wednesday, Nov. 13. Back in May, Kodak got pinched when he was on the way to the 2019 Rolling Loud Miami Festival. The Feds accused Kodak of falsifying info on the federal forms he had to fill out to purchase four guns in a Miami-area gun shop on a pair of occasions. Per the Associated Press , Black was able to cop three weapons—a 9 mm handgun, a .380-caliber handgun and a semi-automatic Mini Draco weapon—but one was found at the scene of a March shooting in Pompano Beach. Initially, he pleaded not guilty, but he changed it to guilty when he surely realized the Feds had him dead to rights . Kodak Black is reportedly facing 4 – 20 years per the sentencing guidelines but part of his deal includes prosecutors recommending he get the lower end of the spectrum. This is where we mention that this case has nothing to do with the sexual assault case the rapper is facing in South Carolina .

Source: ERIC BARADAT / Getty A white woman at a Tennessee Popeyes was bodyslammed by an employee after getting into an argument with staff and allegedly using the n-word. The bodyslam was caught on video and a 29-year-old man was arrested. KABC reports that the incident took place inside a Popeyes in the town of Columbia last week. According to witnesses, the 55-year-old woman was angry over a charge on her bill and got into with staff when she let the slur go. While one of the employees reportedly warned her that her language could have consequences, Deriance Hughes apparently followed the woman out of the store and proceeded to body slam her to the concrete. The woman’s attorney says that the woman suffered broken ribs and a broken knee. Hughes was slapped with aggravated assault charges. This comes after a white man caught the universal beatdow n inside a Popeyes for vigorously yelling the n-word five times in the restaurant that was full of Black people not having it. It is official. It is exciting. And it is potentially the end of the line for Kody Brown and company. Indeed, TLC has not only confirmed the return date for Sister Wives… it has also released an official synopsis for an upcoming season that does not look like it will lack for drama. This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to those who have been following the constant rumors and tidbits surrounding this polarizing family. For example, Meri Brown continues to share cryptic messages on her Instagram account, prompting many to wonder whether she’s finally ready to leave the show . Then there are relatives of certain cast members who are urging them to walk away from Kody and his cult as soon and as quickly as possible. Will this topics be addressed on Season 14? Perhaps. But the description released late last week by TLC focuses far more on the Brown’s move from Las Vegas to Arizona and all the fallout that has come along with it. “The Sister Wives have just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they find that the ups and downs of their family’s polygamist lifestyle are as dramatic as they’ve ever been,” opens this synopsis. It then delves into the reception of those around the Browns in their new home state. Continued this synopsis: “Angry neighbors drive one wife out of her rental house and the cost of the many properties the family needs for Kody’s four wives and many kids are threatening a financial disaster. “In hopes of reducing this burden, Kody makes plans for the whole family to build one giant house, but the wives are not so sure.” It’s worth stopping here to examine such a preview, isn’t it? Kody moved his four wives — Christine, Meri, Robyn and Janelle — to Flagstaff at the conclusion of Season 13. We know that Christine purchased a home because she was unable to find a rental that would accommodate pets. We also know that Kody and Robyn have reportedly bought a giant home together . This means that either Janelle or Meri is the wife who was driven out of her rental home, although neither has made a reference to this awkward situation on social media or anything. Shall we continue with the spoiler-filled teaser? Okay. Here goes: An argument erupts when the Browns try to divide up their new property. Tensions with first wife, Meri, are still unresolved and she goes back into therapy with Kody to try to fix their relationship. Following last season, Kody did float the idea of having all of his four wives living together… before they ultimately found their separate places. Christine was probably as vocal as any of the women upon saying via Twitter that living under the same roof together was “not happening.” But it’s clear this will continue to be a sticking point on upcoming episodes of the long-running series. In conclusion, this is how producers preview what’s on tap: Of course, there’s much to celebrate as well.
