Allison Calhoun Dennis, the mother of main Southern Charm cast member Kathryn Dennis, died Wednesday after an extended illness. She was 59 years old. An insider close to the veteran reality star confirmed this tragic piece of news to People Magazine this afternoon, telling the publication: “Their family requests privacy while they mourn with the sad loss. They’re very private people and they want their time to cope.” Dennis had just spoken to People in April about her mom, with whom the Bravo personality was very close. “My mom’s my best friend,” Dennis said at that time. “She stuck by me through so much. I don’t know what I would do without her. Allison had been retired after working at Santee Cooper water service. She had previously battled cancer and moved in with Kathryn during that time — and was actually a descendent of seventh U.S. Vice Prresident John C. Calhoun. “She was sick for a year and a half and I was taking care of her,” Kathryn told People this spring, adding: “She’s since been living with me, essentially. It’s great to have her around, especially because she’s so good with the kids. She’s amazing. She’s the best mom I could ever hope for with everything.” Dennis is the ex-girlfriend of former Southern Charm lead Thomas Ravenel, who quit this series last year amid accusations of sexual assault and rape. The two share two kids, a five-year old and a three-year old, with Dennis fighting hard for primary custody of these children. The fight has been ugly and challenging, however. Just last month, we learned that Ravenel hired a private investigator to look into Dennis, attempting to discredit his ex in an attempt to deny her custody claims. He previously alleged that Dennis is a drug addict who shouldn’t be trusted. Like we said above: this custody fight has been ugly and challenging. But back to Kathryn’s late mother: Funeral plans for Allison have not been announced, although the Dial-Murray Funeral Home in South Carolina has posted an obituary. For years now, Jinger Duggar has had a reputation as the most rebellious member of her ultra-conservative family. Conversely, her older sister Jana Duggar has so fully devoted herself to serving her domineering parents that at the age of 29, Jana is still single, still childless, and still living in her childhood bedroom. After that, he closed the book on the ongoing mystery of Mary Duggar’s death by drowning. Now the source is sharing his views on Jana Duggar and her controversial marital status. It seems he’s of the opinion that Jana is indeed being held back by her parents — and that Jinger represents her only chance to break free. “Jana is the one I hope can break the bonds that hold her,” the insider said in an interview with The Hollywood Gossip . The source made it clear that he believes Jana deserves more than the lonely fate she’s been assigned to — and he feels Jinger is the only one who can lead her to independence. “Maybe Jinger is just what she needs,” he said. “She’s such a wonderful woman whether she’s gay or not. Somebody is gonna be lucky to have her. She’s the epitome of pure love.” Why Jinger? Well, the 25-year-old mother of one has inspired rebellion in her sisters on previous occasions — such as when Jinger wore pants in public, becoming the first Duggar woman of her generation to defy the family’s infamous dress code. Since then, she’s broken from her parents’ worldview in a number of subtle but significant ways. In Jeremy Vuolo, she found a husband who’s vastly more liberal than her parents, and when the couple moved to Los Angeles so that Jeremy could study at an area divinity school, Jinger’s parents were so upset that they reportedly disowned her . If there’s anyone who can inspire Jana to wriggle out from under her parents’ control, it’s Jinger. Sadly, it seems the likelihood of Jana seeking freedom dwindles with each passing year. Asked about the fact that Jana appears to have accepted the possibility that she’ll forever remain single, the informant resignedly remarked, “Such is life.” Sadly, he’s correct — women in strict evangelical communities give in to patriarchal pressures every day. Last summer, 90 Day Fiance legend Danielle Mullins finally explained her “genital odor” to fans. That's a deeply personal topic. Her ex-husband, Mohamed Jbali, had publicly accused her of having an unpleasant odor. Now, it seems, turnabout is fair play. In a new video, Danielle is sharing way too much information — about Mohamed's penis . Danielle Mullins Jbali and her ex, Mohamed, were the ones who really put 90 Day Fiance on the map. We're not just saying that — Paola Mayfield and Russ, also long-running stars on the franchise, said it themselves. So it's no surprise that Danielle is a popular choice for fans to request Cameos. Cameos are a video service in which a fan pays a celebrity to record a short video, usually a simple message for a special occasion. In this case, Danielle was asked to give a fan a heartfelt happy birthday message — and she did just that. But Danielle's warm words weren't all. The person who hired her to make the video also asked an extremely personal question — one that Danielle agreed to answer. “And also,” Danielle says in her birthday message. “He wanted me to let you know if Mohamed had a smelly dick.” “The answer is no,” Danielle reveals. “He did not have a smelly dick.” At this point, Danielle is understandably cracking up. She reiterates her birthday message at that point, clearly not wanting to end the video talking about her ex-husband's penis. We have this video thanks to 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates. He initially shared the clip on Instagram, but reports that Danielle allegedly misused some of Instagram's features to get the video taken down. Yates then moved the video over to Twitter, and we want to make it clear that he deserves the credit for this video being public knowledge. (He and Danielle emphatically do not get along, despite his prior vocal support for her during her divorce) The video, which we have included in this post, is worth watching — but keep in mind that the subject matter is at times NSFW. When Danielle, an older American woman, became engaged to Mohamed, a younger Tunisian man, fans thought that they knew this story. Quite simply, they figured that it was a green card scam. But as 90 Day Fiance continued, it became clear that there was more to Mohamed and Danielle's story. Danielle would openly demand that Mohamed perform his husbandly duties by having sex with her. She accused him of cheating on her. He accused her of stealing from him. Mohamed also alleged, on camera, that Danielle needed to go to a doctor to address a supposed “foul odor.” As you can imagine, their divorce was downright ugly. Danielle vowed to do her level best to get Mohamed deported. Towards that end, she tried to get their marriage annulled, claiming that Mohamed had not truly acted as her husband. This was when Danielle revealed that she and Mohamed had had sex — exactly once, to consummate their marriage. That might not be enough to satisfy Danielle, but it was enough to force Danielle to settle for a plain ol' divorce. These days, they've both moved on. Danielle is doing Cameos and Mohamed is in Texas, working and living an ordinary life. We suppose that congratulations are in order for Mohamed on his genital odor, or perhaps lack thereof. We're not sure how he feels about Danielle openly discussing his penis with the world. If he decides to let his feelings be known, we'll keep you posted.
Nicole Nafziger is constantly dodging cruel comments, such as rumors that Azan dumped her or questions about her alleged wedding date . This time, the beautiful 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star is receiving some much more direct criticism. Nicole ran an advertisement for a weight loss product, and fans are absolutely livid . Nicole Nafziger took to Instagram to share an ad — one that we have included for your viewing convenience. “A few days into my @boombod 7 day challenge,” Nicole captions the video. “And I have to say I’m SUPER impressed!” Don't worry — she tagged the post as an #ad in compliance with FTC regulations. “Normally I’m so busy I find being consistent with programs a bit tricky,” she admits. “But these shots are super easy & tasty,” Nicole writes. “And they’re paying off!” “My cravings have been going away,” Nicole says. She is, of course, referring to cravings for food that the human body needs to live. “And I haven’t felt as bloated all week,” she remakrs. “So I’ll definitely stick with this.” Well, nobody likes feeling bloated. “If you’re curious, it’s the perfect time to give them a go,” Nicole suggests. “They have BOGO free!” “It really helps with cravings,” Nicole says aloud during the video advertisement itself. “I know some of us have a problem with snacking… it helps pass the time,” she admits. Generally, disordered eating habits result from more deeply rooted issues than boredom, but people aren't always self-aware. “This helps you feel like you don't have to do that so much,” Nicole announces. “The flavor of it is great,” she raves. “I can't wait to try the other flavors too!” Nicole's fans and followers were not amused in the slightest to see her plugging weight-loss products. “These weight loss ads are sad, Nicole,” warned one follower. “It doesn't work. It's a scam,” pointed out another comment. “I would never advertise this stuff.” Many might say that but sing a different tune if some company were offering thousands of dollars for a simple endorsement. “A healthy diet and exercise works wonders,” another follower suggested. “Not all these quick fix weight loss products.” “Here we go again, don’t waste your hard earned money. I bought it, pure crap !” claimed one commenter. That same follower continued: “Notice none of these ppl have lost any weight.” “Ok hope works Nic,” expressed a fan. “But the solution is bariatric surgery.” “I started doing thrive a few months ago. And it is AMAZING,” raved another follower. That comment continued: “I have so much energy. My stomach is flatter, hips are smaller. It’s fantastic!!” “Get a real job,” demanded another comment. “That'll help you pass the time! Ffs!” “She’s trying to make money here people!!” reminded a follower. “So knock it off!!” “Here’s a tip to lose about 150 pounds,” suggested another fan. “Dump Azscam.” There were actually several comments along that line, making the exact same joke, but the estimations of how much he weighs varied. One day, the sad news will come and TLC will cancel Little People, Big World. But Amy Roloff can now take solace in the knowledge that another job on another network will likely be sitting there, waiting for her. Indeed, the reality star is apparently well-prepared to host a series on HGTV about property-flipping. We say this because Oregon property records reveal that Amy has officially sold a portion of her family’s farm to her ex-husband, Matt. She didn’t merely sell it, however. She raked in an ENORMOUS profit. The aforementioned documents, which were obtained this week by Radar Online, state that the mother of four sold this section of land for a whopping $667,000. To put this in perspective? In 1990, newlyweds Matt and Amy purchased the farm together for just $185,000. The debate over the future of this property and whether or not Amy was going to sell it to Matt was the main storyline on Little People, Big World this past season. It prompted a number of arguments between the exes, who split over three years ago yet who have continued to work together and live in close proximity to one another. At one point on the series this spring, Amy slammed Matt for bullying her about the farm. “I just want to make the best decision,” Amy told the camera at the time of why she was taken so long here to figure out next move, adding: “Moving out of a house that I never really thought I’d move out of years ago. … to think about that now is a little daunting. It is a little scary, it’s a little intimidating because I’ve never really been on my own before.” Here’s the confusing thing, however: Amy did NOT sell Matt the land on which her actual house sits. She sold Matt a segment of the land around where his actual house sits so that he can renovate it and work on however he sees fit. In early June, Matt shared a lengthy message on Instagram in order to explain just what was going on with this sale and the farm debate in general. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm,” he wrote, explaining that pumpkin season was very much a go and elaborating as follows: “For now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave.” Amy has made it clear, though, that she has decided to leave. She is in the process right now of looking for a new home away from the farm. Someday, Matt told his followers, “we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. “This may happen in the future but it’s not happening yet! “The only change (for now) is that I will take title to the DW and can decide to remodel it to be more accessible with a lower kitchen or walk-in shower like my home in Arizona.” In conclusion, Matt — who recently made it clear he wants to move to Arizona full-time — wrote that little is changing about the business or the farm as fans know it. But down the line? “The future may be different …but Now is Now …and this is where we are at this moment in time…. Maybe one of the kids will eventually buy it?? Who knows?” Might this kid be Jeremy? The family’s oldest son has said he wants to maybe run a farm someday . In a stunning twist that truly no one saw coming, 90 Day Fiance star Jay Smith was released from ICE custody this week. His bailout came as a major surprise for several reasons, but a lot of fans want to hear from him. How does Jay feel about his incarceration? What are his plans now? Will he just wait for deportation or is he going to fight for legal residency? Here is what Jay has to say in his first statement since his release: 1. Jay did not have a fun July He spent almost the entire month behind bars. Now, for the first time, he is breaking his silence. 2. Ashley took out a protection order On July 1, she obtained a Protection From Abuse order. Jay had allegedly broken into her home, and Ashley apparently had evidence of alleged abuse during their marriage (awful stuff). The goal of the PFA was to keep Jay away. 3. Jay promptly broke the rules As you can see in his fateful Instagram Story, Jay discussed the PFA … which he’s not allowed to do. This was a violation, and so the police contacted him and told him that he would be arrested. 4. Jay did the smart thing, here He voluntarily turned himself in to authorities, and even implied as much on Instagram — even if most followers didn’t yet know what was going on. 5. Jay followed through and was arrested Because he is not an American citizen (or even, it is believed, a legal resident), Jay was then placed in ICE custody. 6. Even Ashley was devastated This is not how she wanted this to end. Yes, Jay had cheated on her — and allegedly done much worse — but the part of her that still loves him hated the idea of him spending weeks at a time in a cell. View Slideshow
If you’re a longtime Teen Mom viewer then you’ll likely remember Jenelle Evans’ first husband, Courtland Rogers. Yes, Evans was married before she met David Eason, and believe it or not — she may have traded up. In fact, Courtland may be the only one of Jenelle’s exes who can actually hold a candle to her in terms of batsh-t lunacy. Hard drugs, arrests, violence — you name it. These two were made for each other. Jenelle has more mug shots than the entire Mafia combined, so it’s unclear if Courtland has her beat in that department. But it seems he’s doing his best not only to break his former wife’s record but to become the all-time world champion: According to Starcasm, Courtland was arrested again on Wednesday morning. Rogers allegedly violated his probation, and while the exact nature of his infraction remains unclear, we can assume it was fairly serious — his bail has been set at $100,000. The news comes just one week after Courtland’s most recent arrest , which was also due to an unspecified probation violation. But in case you’re tempted to think that this is a case of the system abusing a high-profile felon who’s just trying to get back on his feet, allow us to disabuse you of that notion: Prior to his latest brushes with the law, Rogers was arrested for assaulting his wife . At that time, he was already on probation for possession of a schedule III controlled substance with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver. All of this came after Courtland was released from prison after serving most of a three-year sentence in 2017. The system doesn’t make it easy for ex-cons to rebuild their lives post-incarceration — but we’re not sure there’s anything that can be done to help Mr. Rogers. Every time this happens, we speculate that now , Courtland will be locked up for good. And every time, he’s back on streets within 24 hours. But we’re not gonna sit here and whine about the state of our legal system. We will, however, pine for a different timeline in which Courtland and Jenelle are still married. During the first days of July, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? star Jay Smith was arrested and placed in ICE custody . Ashley explained that he had violated a protection order that she had been granted just a day earlier. It looked like Jay would just sit in custody until his inevitable deportation to Jamaica. Sad for his fans, and tragic for his mistress-turned-girlfriend — especially if you believe the rumor that he knocked her up . Now, in a sudden twist, Jay's luck seems to have changed. Take a look below and find out how Jay became a free man overnight. 1. Things have changed for Jay We can honestly say that we did not expect to see this happen at all, let alone the way that it went down. 2. Jay and Ashley have been over for a while Back in early April, Ashley realized that Jay wasn’t just cheating again — he was part of an entire side relationship, and had been for months. They split and, this time, there would be no reconciliation. 3. Then came the PFA Ashley says that after she went on vacation with her family, Jay broke into her home and took things. She contacted police, who recommended that she obtain a Protection From Abuse order. Ashley said that there was “a lot of abuse” in their marriage. On July 1, the order was granted. 4. Apparently, Jay couldn’t be bothered to comply Jay took to Instagram and made explicit reference to the PFA — something specifically forbidden. He was not to discuss it at all. 5. Actions have consequences Police saw that Jay had allegedly violated the PFA, so they contacted him to inform him that he would be arrested. Jay turned himself in. Because he is not a US citizen (and was in fact awaiting deportation anyway), Jay was placed in ICE custody. 6. But he still has supporters Remember that long-term girlfriend of Jay’s? He is then immediately presented with Larissa's boyfriend, Eric, by whom he clearly feels threatened. Then we get to Jay and Ashley, where the depths of Jay's cheating are explored. Ashley admits to some wrongdoings of her own. Nicole and Azan are planning on opening a shop, allegedly. Speaking of deadbeats living off of the women who love them, Andrei gets grilled about his job.
