You can’t make this stuff up. Santa Monica police detectives have been trying to get in touch with Lindsay to ask her about ramming an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Justin Bieber has been accused of battery against a celebrity gossip photographer. But questions have already risen over the legitimacy of this allegation. Here is what the paparazzi member claims in a police report : he tried to take Justin’s picture around noon yesterday outside a mall in Calabasas called The Commons. Bieber, who was accompanied by Selena Gomez , reacted in anger, some kind of physical confrontation took place and the photographer was taken to the hospital after complaining of upper torso pain. Here is what actually went down according to witnesses who spoke to TMZ : The photographer was blocking Bieber’s car ; the singer asked him to move; and a scuffle did ensue when the “journalist” refused to do so. But an attorney then approached the photographer and explained how he could get a lot of money if he called and ambulance and pressed charges. No word yet from anyone in Justin’s camp, while authorities are hoping to speak to Bieber and Gomez some time this week.
Courtney Love fired off a Twitter missive in which she accuses former Nirvana member Dave Grohl of hitting on her daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. Grohl angrily denied the allegation. “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant,” he said via his publicist. “These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.” What the Foo Fighters frontman is referring to is a series of tweets the 47-year-old Love, the late Kurt Cobain’s widow, lobbed last night online. SIDE NOTE: Hilariously, her allegations against @davegrohl actually went to a German IT student by that name … it’s not the rocker’s account. Anyway, Love Tweeted the following: “I hear from frannies roommate that @davegrohl hit on frances, and that she was curious, I’m not mad at her, him I am about to shoot, dead.” Courtney admitted the whole thing may have been gossip she heard from a driver, but still laid into the musician because she totally believes it: “The driver from the cm who drove @davegrohl my daughter was telling me what st. on laurel canyon and that he had his hands all over her.” “it could be a riumnour [sic] the actual sex, and it’s not beans fault she’s not slutty in any way, at all, HES OBSESSED.” she added. Courtney went on to suggest that Grohl was “sexually obsessed with” Kurt as well and that he “had that Romney rape thing about him.” Don’t ask us what the hell that even means. The L.A. County Probation Department has written a report for Lindsay Lohan’s last court appearance Thursday, making it likely this will indeed be the last. Her probation officer has recommend that Lindsay’s probation NOT be violated based on the allegation that she committed hit-and-run earlier this month. The report makes mention of the allegation by Thaer Kamal, the manager of the Hookah Lounge who claims Lindsay struck him and his car , and then fled. LL’s officer discounts the claim and gives the allegations zero credence, despite the fact that police are looking into it, saying no charges have been filed. Hopefully, Lindsay’s last trip to jail was in this SNL skit . The probation report for the troubled actress reads in part, “The probationer (Lindsay) is in compliance with the terms and conditions of probation.” If she is in compliance Thursday, her probation in her DUI case will end, and she’ll be downgraded to informal probation in the jewelry heist case. In other words, she won’t have to appear in court anymore. Well, unless she gets arrested for something wholly unrelated, that is. Not impossible. Anyway, it appears that despite Kamal’s claim that a surveillance video shows the hit-and-run, his bid to shake down Lohan will likely fall short. Good. We’re all for ridiculing Lohan for having no respect for the law and being a Grade A screw-up, but only if she deserves it. Extortion is bogus, man.

No, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are not getting back together, but insiders tell TMZ both sides of the couple are willing to go the annulment path … as long as the other side admits he/she acted like a fraud during their 72-day union. Kim believes that Kris lied when he promised to move to Hollywood, only to then insist the couple settle down in Minnesota. Kris believes Kim never intended to commit to the marriage and is asking for $7 million in order to keep quiet about details that would reportedly support this allegation. Sherri Shepherd took to The View today to address rumors that she’s been rehearsing for the show since January and thus has an unfair advantage. The Season 14 hopeful denied ever working with Val Chmerkovskiy (her pro partner on the program) and/or Maksim Chmerkovskiy at their dance studio. “We have never, I say never, we’ve never danced together,” Sherri said of the rumor. “I’ve never danced with Maks, I’ve never danced with Val.” However, she did attend a dance class at their venue. She did clarify that she loves dancing and had taken classes, however, “This started long before I started negotiations with Dancing With the Stars.” Sherri said she took lessons before her wedding to Lamar Sally in August. Radar Online had said Sherri was spotted this past December at the Soho Studio owned by the Chmerkovskiy brothers and Maks was there at the time. Also, PureDWTS reported in December that they saw a photo of Sherri and Val go up at Dance With Me’s website but it was promptly taken down. Since Sherri is still tweeting about Monday’s DWTS season premiere it doesn’t sound like the allegation that she “cheated” is being taken seriously. She and Val should be taken seriously as contenders though, apparently! She’s been practicing, and the Dancing With the Stars cast is on notice.
