Elevator Footage Just Released: Downtown L.A. Murder Or Suicide… Can You Bossip Readers Solve This Mystery Death Of Elisa Lam [Video]

People are saying that Elisa was killed by someone working at the hotel and some people are saying the chick was crazy or on that molly. An autopsy on Canadian tourist Elisa Lam’s body failed to determine whether she was killed or died accidentally in a giant water cistern on top of a downtown Los Angeles hotel roof. The results were inconclusive, so coroner’s officials said Thursday they will have to wait for toxicological tests to determine a cause of death for 21-year-old Lam, of Vancouver, British Columbia. Police have called her death suspicious. Lam’s body was found Tuesday in one of several water cisterns on top of the 600-room hotel near Skid Row. The hotel has retained a consultant who submitted a plan to sanitize the water lines that will be retested before they are put back into operation, said Angelo Bellomo, the county’s director of environmental health. Only water for toilets is flowing for hotel guests who chose to stay at the hotel. Most have made other arrangements. Guest complaints about low water pressure prompted a maintenance worker to make the gruesome discovery. Before she died, hotel surveillance footage showed her inside an elevator pushing buttons and sticking her head out the doors, looking in both directions. Water tested from the hotel didn’t contain any live bacteria that would cause illness. County health officials issued a do-not-drink order, but results that came back Thursday indicated the water was safe from a “microbiological standpoint,” Bellomo said. “We can’t say what the quality of the water was prior to the samples” taken Tuesday, Bellomo said. “We can only say that the water met the standard at the time it was sampled.” Chlorine in the water probably killed any bacteria in the tank where Lam’s body was found, Bellomo said. Two standard water tests were performed and samples were taken from throughout the hotel. Lam, of Vancouver, British Columbia, traveled alone to Los Angeles on Jan. 26 and was last seen five days later by hotel workers. She intended to travel to Santa Cruz, about 350 miles north of Los Angeles. High school classmate Alex Ristea, of Vancouver, called Lam’s death shocking and said she was one of the friendliest people he knew. “This is the last person I expect out of all my friends to have something like this happen to her,” Ristea said. University of British Columbia spokesman Randy Schmidt confirmed that Lam had attended summer school at the university, but she was not registered for the current session. Ristea said he believes Lam had just gone to California for a holiday, saying she had posted pictures on Facebook from tourist locations such as the San Diego Zoo. What do you all think? cbsnews.com

Will Hollie Cavanagh Get All the Votes That She Needs?

American Idol’s Hollie Cavanagh struggled a bit in her mentoring session, but she came through with flying colors on Dusty Springfield’s “All The Man That I Need.” Hollie definitely exudes a kind of Dusty Springfield vibe, both with her looks and with the arrangements she’s given, so it certainly works for her and then some. Mentor Mary J. Blige must have gotten through to her, as she gave Jessica Sanchez a run for her money for the night’s most complete female performance. “That’s the Hollie that I know from last year and this year,” said a wowed Jennifer Lopez, who’s predicting her for the finale after the following effort … Hollie Cavanagh – “All The Man That I Need” (American Idol Top 13)

Bobby Brown Leaves Funeral After 20 Minutes Over Seating Dispute

Here is the original post:

Earlier reports stated that former husband Bobby Brown was unwanted at Whitney’s funeral. However Bobby said that was false and did arrive to the funeral as planned. However Bobby misunderstood or flat out did not care about how many invites he had. Just 20 minutes after Bobby arrived you can see him depart with his nine person entourage after getting into an argument with family members at the funeral.  Bobby walked up and touched the casket then walked to the back of the church. Allegedly he had a seat up near his daughter but the rest of his entourage would have to make other arrangements. Along Bobby’s side was also his son Landon and other friends and family members.  Reports are saying the family did not want Brown to even attend the funeral siting he was one of the main reasons Whitney had her untimely passing.  However after Rev. Al Sharpton stepped in and tried to calm the situation down Bobby was frustrated and departed the church (as seen in video below caught by TMZ).  And before stepping back in the church Rev. Al tweeted “spoke with Bobby Brown, trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is a day about Whitney!” 1.1024958#ixzz1mlX3Pj2y

Deadmau5, Rihanna Perform at Post-Grammys Charity Concert

Deadmau5 and Rihanna were among the featured acts last night at the House of Blues in L.A., where a major fundraiser was held for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The Canadian electro star headlined the wee-hours gig with tickets ranging from $250-1,000. Rihanna took the stage for only seven minutes, but made them count. Rocking a mini-dress and blonde Farrah Fawcett ‘do , she jumped, fist-pumped and maybe even sang her way through “Where Have You Been” and “We Found Love.” Calvin Harris, who produced and co-wrote “We Found Love,” and two backup vocalists accompanied Rih. Harris later took the stage for nearly an our at the shindig. Confetti fell from the ceiling during the climax of the latter tune, and like that, Rihanna was gone, good deed done and no doubt some after-after-party to get to. At the actual Grammys, Rihanna joined Coldplay on “Princess of China,” while Deadmau5 and fellow electro-star David Guetta followed Chris Brown’s performance . [Photos: WENN.com]
