Adrienne Bailon slammed Rob Kardashian in a recent interview, and you know his whole family was offended because Kim even went so far as to display an emotion. Kim went off on her ex-friend Adrienne on Twitter, pointing out the hypocrisy of Bailon claiming the Kardashians ruined her career in an interview that would never have taken place were it not for her association with the Kardashians. Well, if they think this behavior is new, then Kim and kompany haven’t been paying very close attention. Adrienne has been ripping on Rob in public for some time now. In fact, with the amount of trash she talks, we can’t believe Bailon just got her Rob tattoo removed a few weeks ago: “People would think that since I was cheated on, I would be like, ‘He cheated on me!’ but honestly, I was embarrassed,” said Bailon last summer on her talk show The Real (which is apparently a thing). Adrienne then joked that Rob called her constantly to try and get her back, prompting her to write him an e-mail from a made-up new boyfriend: “It was not written by my boyfriend. It was written by me and my girls sitting on the sofa one night. White Man Slaps Elderly Black Female Judge For Smoking Near Him A scumbag business owner has a local Chicago community in an uproar after he reportedly slapped an iconic 79-year-old African-American judge across the face before spitting on her and calling her “Rosa Parks”…..all because she was smoking a cigarette in his presence. via Chicago Tribune A North Side business owner slapped a 79-year-old Cook County judge in the face, spit on her and called her “Rosa Parks” after becoming angry that she was smoking near him outside the Daley Center, authorities said. Monday’s attack outside the courthouse came as a shock to friends of Judge Arnette Hubbard, a silver-haired African-American jurist who was the first female president of the National Bar Association and Cook County Bar Association, both black lawyers’ groups. “She’s an icon in our community,” said Delores Robinson, past president of the Cook County Bar Association, who noted that Hubbard, a former commissioner on the Cook County Board of Elections, had been an international election observer in Haiti and South Africa and had long been a voice on civil rights and women’s issues. Cook County prosecutors said Tuesday that Hubbard was outside the Daley Center smoking a cigarette when she walked past David C. Nicosia, 55, who became angry that she was smoking near him. The two argued and Nicosia, who is white, stepped near her face and said, “Rosa Parks, move,” and spit in her face, prosecutors said. As he walked away, the Law Division judge followed him and called out for assistance. Nicosia then turned and allegedly slapped the judge on the left side of her face with an open hand, prosecutors said. He was then arrested by sheriff’s deputies and charged with four counts of aggravated battery and a hate crime. Judge James Brown ordered him held on $90,000 bail Tuesday. Somebody’s buying “Yeezus.” Yeezus Goes Platinum Kanye is beating up people and beating up the charts as “Yeezus” continues to push units. According to Vibe: Kanye West’s Yeezus album has officially hit platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). ‘Ye’s latest studio effort, which dropped June 18, has sold over a million copies and also marks his seventh platinum album. Yeezus was met with some tight competition as J. Cole’s sophomore LP Born Sinner and Mac Miller’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off dropped the same day. The Chicago rep will be resuming his Yeezus tour in February and has slipped the hint that another album with eight songs is on the way. Maybe the good news will stop Kanye from going batisht crazy on people–not.
Isht is real out here. Former KKK Leader And Mother Indicted In Cross-Burning When will the hatred stop? According to Raw Story: An Alabama grand jury indicted a former Grand Cyclops in the racist vigilante group the Ku Klux Klan in the town of Ozark on Wednesday. The man was charged with burning a cross at the entrance to an African-American neighborhood. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 28-year-old Steven Joshua Dinkle was indicted on five counts by the grand jury, including obstruction of justice. His mother, Pamela Morris, a former secretary for the local KKK was also indicted on perjury charges for lying to the grand jury about the incident. On May 8, 2009, Dinkle and another man reportedly erected a cross and set it ablaze in a predominantly African-American neighborhood in Ozark with the intention of frightening and intimidating the residents. The counts against Dinkle further state that he obstructed justice by lying to local investigators about his role in the cross-burning and to federal investigators in 2012. Dinkle told investigators he had ended his association with the Klan six months before the incident and denied knowing others involved with the crime. Morris, said the grand jury, lied on at least two separate occasions in her testimony. She lied about her son’s involvement with the cross burning incident and about her own involvement with the hate group. She faces a maximum statutory sentence of five years in prison and a possible fine of up to $250,000 on each count of perjury. Dinkle, if convicted, faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines for charges of conspiracy and criminal interference. He faces another maximum 10-year sentence for charges of the use of fire to commit a federal felony and a 20-year maximum sentence and possible $250,000 for making false statements to local investigators. He also faces a maximum 5-year sentence and $250,000 fine for making false statements to the FBI. The case is still the subject of a joint investigation by the FBI, the Dale County Sheriff’s Office and the Ozark Police Department. Further charges and indictments could be pending. Damn shame. Gay Therapy Ministry Designed To Cure Same-Sex Attraction Shuts Down A Christian ministry program that was put in place for the purpose of curing gay people of their sexual orientation has finally decided to close its’ door after 37 years in practice. via NBC News Former participants in a controversial program aimed at ridding people of their h*m*se*uality congratulated its leader for deciding to shut down its ministry, but other groups said there was a role for the “reparative therapy” used in the “ex-gay movement.” The Christian ministry, Exodus International, was founded in 1976 and claims more than 200 branches, churches and counselors in the United States and Canada. It insisted that people could overcome same-sex attraction through prayer and therapy. But mainstream psychiatric and medical groups have said that program, also known as “reparative therapy,” is not founded in science and can be harmful. The American Psychiatric Association said 15 years ago that it could cause depression, anxiety and self-depressive behavior in patients. In a statement, Exodus International, which describes itself as the oldest and largest group of its kind, said that its board of directors had decided to close down after a year of talking and praying about its place in a changing culture. The Harlem shake has gone aloft, breaking out on commercial airline flights, and appearing in dozens of YouTube videos. Some of the videos were taped aboard planes on the ground. But the Federal Aviation Administration says it is looking into one instance of high-altitude dancing. And airline pilots, flight attendants and others say the fad presents serious safety and security problems. “It’s ridiculous,” said Jim Tilmon, a retired 29-year airline pilot. “A commercial airplane in flight … is not a dance hall, it’s not an entertainment stage, it’s not any of those things.” “It’s cute, novel, all that sort of stuff,” he said, adding, “Wrong place, wrong time.” Experts say they are not trying to be party poopers. “I hate to be a bureaucratic kill-joy,” agreed Steve Wallace, former director of the FAA’s Office of Accident Investigation. “I think there is a safety issue here. Turbulence injuries are the most common type of injuries, and they are virtually eliminated when people are in their seat belts.” Dancing is a bad idea even on the ground, said Veda Shook, president of the Association of Flight Attendants. She fretted about being labeled a “buzz kill.” But dancing impedes other passengers and makes it impossible for flight attendants to communicate with passengers, she said.
