The Bachelor Recap: "You Don’t Microwave Relationships"

Colton Underwood went up against his greatest obstacle to date on The Bachelor this week. No, not a woman’s bra clasp. We’re talking about the fathers of his potential wives, as Colton traveled to the hometowns of his final four and met their loved ones on this intense installment. “I didn’t have a strong initial opinion of Colton because I don’t like to draw judgment to quickly,” Matt said, adding: “I could tell Colton was being affectionate with Cassie. I don’t know if that’s what he does with all the girls he goes out with. We don’t know him. He seemed like a … guy.” That much is true. We can verify. Things only get more uncomfortable when Cassie sits down with her father and he questioned the romance. “I’m not dumb! You have to know I’m being smart about this whole thing,” she said. “I just want you to trust me.” Later, when Colton asked for permission to propose… he was REJECTED. “I think that a lifelong commitment, that’s big and shouldn’t be taken at all lightly because it is forever in my opinion,” the very well-reasoned father said. “Too often I think it’s done without enough thought. As far as the hand in marriage, that would be a premature blessing.”

Temptation Island Recap: Another Relationship Crumbles!

The couples appear to be dropping like flies on Temptation Island.  That’s sort of what happens when you go on a reality show that makes couples live apart in houses that have various singles.  The show went for a refreshing take to the second dates: The couples got the opportunity to choose which of the eligible singles they wanted to go on a date with. This was done well away from the prying eyes of their significant others.  Did this lead to jealous couples leaving the island with the fear that the dates went a little too well? Not a chance in hell.  Kaci was still not impressed by Evan’s antics. She wanted her boyfriend to realize that their relationship was worth salvaging, but she was not ruling out getting close to her date Justin.  Justin was easy on the eyes and had a no-nonsense approach to cheating. In short, he was the polar opposite of Evan.  “My date with Justin actually taught me a lot, and it just really opened my eyes that if Evan does blindside me at the end of this that I really need to move on and cut that out of my life,” Kaci admitted, adding: “It’s not what I deserve.” She had a point, but why did she need to come on TV to come to that conclusion?  Evan is an ass, and Kaci needs to cut him out of her life before leaving the island.  Then there was Nicole. Her guard was up during the date with Jack, and for most of her relationship with Karl.  “I’m realizing that Karl and I haven’t opened up as deeply as I thought in our relationship, and being able to open up and be vulnerable with somebody I just met — it’s a whole new perspective to me on our relationship and what I really need to be striving for,” she said in a confessional. Maybe she has a point, but does she have cause to drop Karl like a hot potato at this stage?  Probably not.  Elsewhere, Evan was all about trying to bury the hatchet with Morgan, and it seems like there’s actually some chemistry between them.  Spending more time together, they seemed to agree there could be something there if they worked on it.  “I did not think this was gonna happen like this,” Evan said in his confessional. “I’d be lying if I said I’m not going to explore whatever she’s got.” But the drama switched into high gear when Evan was shown the video of Kaci’s date, and her chatting about his status as a cheater.  “I’m not a cheater anymore, man, and that hurts,” Evan said as though he was about to burst out crying.  Maybe this show should be called Karma Island because something tells me Evan is going to be bawling the whole season when Kaci finds her upgrade.  Temptation Island continues Tuesdays on USA Network. The Bachelor Recap: Hannah B. Claims Caelynn is a Lying Snake

If you’ve been keeping up with The Bachelor Spoilers , you know Colton’s final choice. But he made a lot of decisions before the finale. On this week’s episode of The Bachelor , some drama between two of Colton’s contestants left the leading man unsure of whom to believe. And that only how the episode began … and ended. For the week’s first group date, the women are costumed as swashbuckling pirates. Katie, Heather, Hannah B., Courtney, Kirpa, Tracy, Demi, and Caelynn all got into costume. Viewers did get a kick out of hearing them all refer to Colton as “captain” for the evening. While the purpose is not explained, maybe it gave Caelynn — Miss North Carolina 2018 — a home field advantage. NC’s coast was Blackbeard’s favorite haunt, and Caelynn certainly caught Colton’s eye. Hannah Brown, on the other hand, did not love seeing him give her rival all of that attention. Demi Burnett was living her best life as a pirate and really got into the role. “The job of a pirate is to steal and I’m here to steal Colton’s heart,” Demi announced. She joked: “I don’t want to be another one of those yo-ho-hos.” Hannah B, on the other hand, felt her insecurities come out. “It’s a little frustrating to watch Caelynn engage with Colton right in front of me,” Hannah admitted. Hannah Brown is Miss Alabama, and watching Miss North Carolina excel did not sit well with her. “I’m trying my hardest to not get upset but then Caelynn is just everywhere,” Hannah lamented. “I didn’t come here to compete in another pageant,” she said. “Honestly, this sucks.” Whatever that pirate contest was, Caelynn won it, and Colton gave her a congratulatory kiss. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” Hannah bemoaned. “It’s not easy to see Caelynn moving forward with Colton.” “It brings out all of my insecurities and I start to spiral,” she admitted. “If Colton knew the truth about Caelynn,” Hannah B guessed. “I think he would feel differently about her.” Hannah B decided to confront Colton about Caelynn during the cocktail portion of their date. Note to all The Bachelor hopefuls: trying to undercut your competition always, always makes you look like the bad guy. “I was just in a high-stress situation with her and it was like the most hostile environment I’ve ever been in,” she told Colton. She continued: “It’s hard because it’s like, if that’s what you want, you don’t want me.” Perhaps due to how flustered and insecure she felt, Hannah B didn’t really communicate very well with Colton. This left him feeling frustrated and perhaps a little annoyed — she actually had to ask him for a kiss at the end of their chat. Yikes. To make matters worse for Hannah B, Colton then made a beeline for Caelynn to hear her side of the story. Caelynn was blindsided and cried. She confessed to Colton that she hadn’t planned on addressing her past at that time. So Colton presented her with the Group Date Rose. “I want you to know that I like you a lot,” Colton assured Caelynn. “And it’s about our time together and our connection.” Then there was Colton’s one-on-one date with Elyse. Their date isn’t exactly romantic — a lot of viewers were reminded of babysitting, even if it’s for a great cause. Colton does charity work with kids who are hospitalized, and he and Elyse go on some fair rides with ten children. Elyse does praise that seeing Colton be so good with kids is “the sexiest thing ever.” She also opens up about her life, and the two of them get to bond despite their (gasp) 5-year age gap. Elyse gets the rose. For the second group date, Colton once again has his heaving man-bosom on display. Tayshia, Nina, Catherine, Sydney, Onyeka, Cassie, Nicole, and Caitlin join him for a workout class. On the one hand, most people would rather be pirates than sweat in front of the guy they’re dating and the viewers at home. On the other hand, Colton’s tatas are out as a feast for their eyes. That’s fair. “We pull up and Colton is waiting for us topless,” Caitlin said. “Which is a really nice sight.” Terry Crews, who is always a delight, and his wife Rebecca were there to help Colton in his quest to identify his “strong woman.” We joked about Caelynn having an advantage, but with this group date, some women quickly stood out from the rest. Sydney is a dancer, Onyeka is a track star, and Catherine knows karate. Onyeka gets the “strongest woman” trophy. Then it’s time for the cocktail portion and to lounge by the pool. “I feel like I’ve kind of been slipping behind a little bit,” Caitlin admitted. “Because we got sent home on the last group date.” But when she actually gets some one-on-one time with Colton, she falters. He asks her what she’s looking for in a man, and she says someone who’s happy to have a silly evening with her and her friends. Colton just about has an out-of-body experience out of sheer boredom with her answer. Then, Caitlin confesses that her life has been pretty chill so far, so she doesn’t have anything major to spill to him. Colton goes ahead and sends her home because he doesn’t feel much of a spark. The Caelynn drama with Hannah Brown isn’t over, though. Colton speaks to both women, who both paint unflattering (but vague) portraits of their former frenemies. “I feel like I’m going around and round in circles,” Colton said. “I don’t know what to believe.” “I’m frustrated because I still don’t understand this,” he confesses to an unseen producer. “The last thing I wanted to do today was spend all day at the pool party talking about this,” he said. “I’m not getting clarity at all.” Since Caelynn had received the group date rose, Hannah B gets a rose. Bri, Catherine, and Nina get sent home. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Spoilers: Colton’s Choice, Stunning Final Rose Aftermath REVEALED! [Updated]

The Bachelor Recap: Nick Viall Boots Three Wannabes

We were promised plenty of in-fighting  this season, and The Bachelor spoilers have been alarmingly accurate in that regard so far. The predictions of who Nick Viall takes to the final four have also held up to this point, but would there be a surprise in store this week? Watch The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 6 Online Monday night on  The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 6 , tensions rose between some of the women as they jetted off to the Virgin Islands.  We know, it’s almost astonishing to believe. Picking up where last week left off, Taylor tried to take one last parting shot at Corinne Olympios, after losing their two-on-one date. “I want you to open your eyeballs,” Taylor tells Nick, who informs her this had nothing to do with Corinne, a.k.a. “I’m not into you bai.” At the rose ceremony, he boots Josephine, Jaimi and Alexis, while the usual suspects and Whitney (who’s still around?) get to advance. Soon it’s on to St. Thomas, where Kristina, Jasmine and the aforementioned Whitney have STILL yet to go on a one-on-one with Nick. Until the first date goes to … Kristina! As Jasmine melts down, Kristina takes the opportunity to tell Nick her life story, which began in Russia growing up without food as a kid. “I remember eating lipstick,” she said at one point, recalling her days in an orphanage, and leaving behind her mother who is now dead. As she put it, it was move to America when she got a little older, or stay back in her home country, where “it’s so easy to turn to prostitution.” Kristina says someone told her back then, “If you stay in Russia, it will be black and white. If you move to America, it will be in color.” What do you think of THAT, Mr. Putin?! COLORS, baby. An American family who have three other adopted kids and four more biological kids took her in, and Nick was blown away by the story. “When I’m with you, you bring color to my life,” says Nick, who had to cringe at using her story for a bad play on words, but still. Sweet. Danielle L. and Whitney (above, pictured) then got a two-on-one date, while Jasmine further melted down and Corinne wasn’t far off. “I’m going to sleep,” she says, most likely drunk. When Nick gives her attention, Vanessa and Rachel get upset, and Jasmine decides to confront Nick, because “I’m so mad at him.” “I like him so much but I want to choke him.” That word choice feels even more odd when Jasmine brings up the choking threat again shortly thereafter, but acts like it’s hot or something. “No girl’s ever choked you before?” she asks, causing Nick Viall – of all people – to say this is getting awkward and show her the exit. Raven gets the group date rose, while Jasmine goes out in style (or something) and the Danielle and Whitney prepare for their 2-on-1 … The pressure is on. As Danielle puts it: “99 percent of the time only one person comes back,” she says … pretty sure it’s 100, unless that last one percent is when he axes both. Maybe she had visions of her future. “As much as I really want to give it to you, in my heart I feel like I can’t,” Nick says, before eliminating Whitney, to Danielle’s delight. “I really feel like we’re on the same page right now,” Danielle tells Nick before he also sends her home (likely on a different page now). Nick, while we give him a hard time over his sexual exploits, is clearly sad about dumping so many women in the span of like 25 minutes. He ends the episode on a somber note. The Bachelor Recap: Corinne Olympios’ Bounce House Fun

If The Bachelor spoilers have taught us anything over the years, it’s that there’s always a hero, and always a villain or two along the journey. On The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 3 , the ladies’ quest to woo Nick reached new heights … as did their hatred of Corinne Olympios. Watch The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 3 Online First order of business? A moment of clarifiction. Nick Viall admitted to the rest of the ladies that he sent Liz Sandoz home because he hooked up with her at Jade and Tanner’s wedding. She didn’t want to have a relationship with him then, he says, so why give her a second chance at having one now (i.e. she’s an opportunist). Afterward, he assures everyone that he’s there for them, while Corinne decides to “put on the sex charm” in an effort to one-up Liz. Seriously, she is one hyper-sexual creature. Putting on a trench coat with nothing underneath but a rose, she somehow procures some whipped cream and has Nick lick it off her. The girl is something else, to say the least. The Bachelor Preview: What Did Corinne Do Now?!? Not even that could reassure Corinne that Nick is hers for taking. After he said hello to someone else, she basically freaked out and cried. Mind you, there are a dozen-plus women here. Later, Corinne flaked on the rose ceremony (she already had one, so she wasn’t eliminated), which is the first time we can recall that. Nick is clearly in the position where he must choose between lusting after a hot, blonde nymphomaniac and aliening the other 17 girls.  It’s a tough life being The Bachelor , isn’t it? Later, it’s time for a group date featuring the Backstreet Boys and a challenge to be the best backup dancer and earn a special serenade. Cue panic from “bad dancer” Corinne who, once again, bursts into tears over the idea that Nick might pay attention to someone else. Corinne Olympios Topless on The Bachelor: My Dad Would Be Proud!! In the end, Danielle earned some alone time with Nick thanks to her dance moves, and slow danced with him as the Backstreet Boys sang. Corinne says it’s the worst day of her life. At the cocktail party, Ms. Olympios obviously pulls Nick aside asking for reassurance, then tells the women about her personal nanny. Danielle gets the group date rose; Corinne avoids flipping the f–k out (in front of cameras, anyway) for once, so that’s modest progress? Vanessa Grimaldi, the special ed teacher from Montreal and one of the early fan favorites this season, got a one-on-one date next. She made the most of this one, too. Even though she puked after a turn in a zero gravity chamber, that’s the kind of thing that brings you closer together with your S.O. At least it did in this case. It was cute. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 21 Contestants: Meet Nick’s Ladies! Corinne might have reason to worry about Vanessa. Nick not only made out with her after she vomited, but she made him cry as well. The prospects of finding love and listening to her talk about that did it for Nick, possibly even more so than kissing Corinne’s breasts. Watch out, Corinne. You’ve got some competition now. The next group date involved a track and field themed “Nickathalon” with the help of some Olympic legends such as Carl Lewis himself. Group dates are bringing out the star power lately. After competing for Nick’s love in the high jump, long jump, and javelin, Rachel and Astrid advance to the finals and the latter prevails. Her gold medal reward? Hot tub time with Nick! Gotta love a show where this is the norm. When she confronts Nick about not making her feel special, Nick says that Dominique is “amazing,” but … he likes the others more. Sometimes, you gotta make tough calls. Rachel gets the rose, but lest you think that the villain has been overmatched, or eclipsed, Corinne straddles him in a bounce house. While all the others watch, she essentially dry humps Nick in a bikini and squeals with joy. It’s slightly arousing and very, very strange. In the wake of that clothed sex romp, Corinne goes back to bed and Nick realizes that the others probably aren’t fans of this contender. He’s a sharp one, that Nick Viall.
