Michele Bachmann Compares President Obama To A Crack Dealer In response to the much-anticipated government shut down that officially took effect in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, resident Republican bird Michele Bachmann has given her two cents on why an agreement can’t be reached. And yep, you guessed…according to Michelle, it’s alllll Presidet Obama’s fault. via MSNBC Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann likened President Obama to a drug dealer. “President Obama can’t wait to get Americans addicted to the crack cocaine of dependency on more government health care,” she said in an interview with the far-right WorldNetDaily site where she regularly gives explosive interviews. Once they enroll millions of more individual Americans, it will be virtually impossible for us to pull these benefits back from people,” Bachmann continued. “All they want to do is buy love from people by giving them massive government subsidies.” Bachmann echoed the Republican talking point on Obamacare, saying the program wasn’t ready to go live. So…..in so many words….Michele is blaming big bad President Obama for creating a massive plan that will, among other things, provide…..wait for it…healthcare for everyone. Donald Trump in 2016 ? Maybe. Michele Bachmann in 2014? Definitely not. The Minnesota Congresswoman and former President candidate made it official in a video announcement this morning: she will not be seeking a fifth term in office. Michele Bachmann Retirement Speech “The law limits anyone from serving as president of the United States for more than eight years, and in my opinion, well, eight years is also long enough for an individual to serve as a representative for a specific Congressional district,” Bachmann said. The controversial conservative did not give an exact reason for her retirement – but did state that an ongoing ethics investigation into her conduct while running for The White House was NOT the basis for her decision. “It was clearly understood that compliance with all rules and regulations was an absolute necessity for my presidential campaign,” Bachmann said. “And I have no reason to believe that that was not the case.” Bachmann was elected in 2007 as the first Republican woman to represent Minnesota in Congress. She strongly opposes Obamacare .

Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson found himself in the hot seat on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live . When Andy Cohen asked Questlove if he had ever not been credited for his contribution to an album, he said Prince hadn’t credited him on Prince’s One Night Only album. Apparently, Thompson sat in on drums for a song and didn’t receive any recognition. ?uestlove isn’t tripping though. He later said, “There’s no need to get lawyers involved.” On the other hand, he wasn’t so nice to Tina Fey . Questo commented that Tina Fey and The Roots haven’t bonded like most Philadelphians do when they meet each other. Check out the clip below. GOP Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann will not be her party’s nominee. Sorry, hardcore believers out there. It’s not personal, it’s just not happening. But why let that stop her from speculating on who she’d pick as her Vice President in 2012? “I have just the highest respect for Rick Santorum. He’s a very sharp guy, and I could easily see making him attorney general,” Bachmann tells the Des Moines Register . Another name on the Minnesota Congresswoman’s short list: The Donald! Who are three Republicans who will not be the next President? “We’ve got a lot of wonderful candidates who would fit that bill. Easily comes to mind I think would be Jim DeMint of South Carolina. Marco Rubio of Florida,” she told CNN . “There’s a lot of great people out there. And Donald Trump is someone that I think a lot of people would be intrigued with, too,” added Bachmann, hilariously. Trump, of course, toyed with the idea of running for U.S. President himself this year, then backed down, implying he could’ve won if he tried, but wasn’t up for it. He’s the best.
