Getty Images SMH: Food Shoppers Find Arizona Baby Abandoned In Jonas Brother Backpack A pedestrian leaving a Food City store in Tempe, Arizona stumbled upon something peculiar in a shopping cart in the store’s parking lot. According to AZ Central , the good samaritan heard a baby screaming inside of it. Not only was the child abandoned in the cart, but it was stuffed inside of a Jonas brothers backpack. That’s when they immediately reported what they saw to the Food City manager in duty. The baby was taken to a local hospital and was found in good health according to reports. Spokes people for the food city store says they’re relieved that the baby was found in good health, despite having no idea who the newborn’s mother is. “This is a tragic situation but we’re thankful that the baby was found healthy,” said Ashley Shick, director of communications and public affairs for Bashas’, which owns Food City stores.
Some people have deadbeat ex-boyfriends for whom they provide rent money, while others have become full-blown sugar mamas. Such is the case for Kylie Jenner, who is allegedly out $2 million. “Kylie had been bankrolling Tyga for well over a year and she’s finding herself short on cash as a result,” a source told Radar Online . I know the girl is 18 and has control over her own finances, but PAGING KRIS JENNER BECAUSE IT’S TIME TO FIRE YOUR DAUGHTER’S BUSINESS MANAGER. Jenner is reportedly “begging” the 26-year-old to pay her back. “He was shocked when she asked to be paid, telling her he thought the money was a gift, not a loan,” the source revealed. “He’s a total loser and owes her over $2 million.” Tyga has made headlines mainly because of his money issues; he was evicted from one home after falling behind on rent, and it’s been reported that one or more of his vehicles has been repossessed . Tyga gifted Jenner with a $320,000 Ferrari on her 18th birthday last August, which I’m assuming was paid for with her money. Kylie Jenner: Birthday Present From Tyga Video When Tyga confessed to not having any money to give back to his ex-girlfriend, Jenner knew she was f***ed. “Kylie had no choice but to admit it all to Kris, who absolutely hit the roof,” the source added. “She threatened to go after him if Kylie didn’t ditch him.” Can you blame Kris? Tyga totally took advantage of a teenager. “She was always helping him, paying his legal bills when he was getting out of his record contract and she funding most of his latest album, which flopped.” College may be out of the question for Jenner, but her momager is making sure the youth learns from her mistake. “Kris now wants her on an accountancy course because she’s obviously completely clueless about money.” Time to start hawking more of those lip kits! Thanks to last week’s episode of Teen Mom 2 , Leah Messer is once again at the center of a parenting controversy. Watch Teen Mom 2 Season 7 Episode 10 Online This time, however, she’s not the one who’s getting slammed by critical fans on social media. Viewers took to Twitter in droves to express their displeasure over a scene in which Leah’s daughter Ali, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, complained that her stepmother, Miranda, Patterson refused to help her carry her backpack into school. “Miranda always gets mad at me ’cause my backpack’s too heavy,” Ali said in a heartbreaking video. “I give her my backpack when it’s too heavy outside. When we’re going inside. And she says, ‘Ali, I have to hold a baby.'” Naturally, Leah lost it when she saw the footage, and she proceeded to go off on Simms’ second wife, even going so far as to call Miranda a “lazy bitch.” Miranda texted Leah shortly after the incident, explaining that she treats Messer’s twin daughters with the same loving care that she gives her own children. Judging from the reaction on Twitter, however, many still believe that Miranda is guilty of failing to properly attend to a disabled child’s needs. Perhaps it’s for that reason that Miranda and Corey made made their case in a recent interview with MTV News: View Slideshow: Leah Messer Bad Parenting Excuse Hall of Fame “I always try to carry Ali’s backpack for her,” Simms explained. “I would never try to do any harm to the children or create any kind of task that I know Ali cannot do.” “I’m not saying how she felt was wrong – her feelings are important. I just hope that we can move on, and I hope that the girls feel comfortable no matter where they are at one time.” Corey chimed in to stick up for his wife, saying: “Miranda is aware of what Ali is capable of and what she’s not capable of doing. If Miranda would have felt that the backpack was too heavy, she would not have made her carry the backpack. As for Messer girls’ claims that they’re being neglected in favor of Miranda and Corey’s son, Remi, Miranda says that’s just kids being kids: “After Remi was born, I’ve never seen any type of jealousy that the girls had towards Remi or any kind of feeling that they felt left out,” Miranda explained. “Yes, it would be a big change for two six-year-olds to have a new baby in their lives when they’re used to just being the kids in the house.” Makes sense to us – but we doubt that’s the end of the drama over this particular issue. Somalian Man Angry His 12-Year-Old Was Asked If Her Backpack Had A Bomb SMH. This is so racist it makes our skin crawl. A Somalian eight grader was questioned by a teacher at Shiloh Middle School in Gwinnett County whether she was carrying a bomb in her backpack. According to AJC reports : Abdirazik Aden, who was born in Somalia, said that on Monday, his 12-year-old daughter was going to class when a teacher stopped her and asked what she had in her bookbag. He said his daughter told her books. The unidentified teacher responded by asking, her if she had a bomb in her bag? “My daughter wanted to know why she was asking her that,” he said. He said his daughter was upset when she called to tell him about the incident. He went to the school to see what happened and was told by an assistant principal that it was a mistake. “I was upset,” said Aden, who lives in Snellville and works as a truck driver and grocery store owner. “I was going to take my daughter out (of that school) “We are from Africa, we are Muslims, we live in America,” he said. “I didn’t teach my children to hate people or to think they are better than other people. I don’t want nobody to treat them like that.” We don’t blame him for being pissed. What would you do if it was your kid? Would you demand she be switched into a new class or a new school? Would you sue??? Here’s the school’s side of the story: Sloan Roach, spokeswoman, for Gwinnett County Public Schools, confirmed the incident happened. “The remark was not appropriate, but based on their conversation and investigation,” school officials don’t believe it was made with “ill intent,” Roach said. She said it was a regular teacher, not a substitute, who made the remark. The teacher was trying to get the students to put away their backpacks quickly and made the remark to the student that was basically, what do you have in there, a bomb? The school’s principal, Eli Welch, conducted an investigation and spoke with the teacher and the parent. At least they admit the remark was inappropriate. SMH. Flickr
Cop Keeps Job After Knocking Paraplegic Man From Wheelchair via Gawker In the video above, we see several Lafayette, Ind. police officers surrounding a man in a wheelchair. Nicholas Kincade slowly rolls forward and over the foot of one of the officers, and the cop reacts swiftly, thrusting an arm into Kincade’s neck and sending him toppling. “Whoa, what the fuck?”, Kincade yells as he falls to to the ground. “You do not drive over me,” the cop says. “Now you’re going to jail,” chimes in another. When the man claims he rolled over the foot by accident, an officer sarcastically replies, “Oh my god, right.” Earlier, Kincade entered the grounds of Lafayette’s Excel School and allegedly claimed he had a handgun in his backpack, ABC reports. (He didn’t, but he did have a pocketknife.) An internal investigation into Lt. Tom Davidson, the officer who pushed Kincade, concluded he had violated police department rules about “unbecoming conduct” and “response to resistance,” and recommended that he be fired. But Davidson got to keep his job. The Lafayette Police Civil Service Commission, a five-member civilian board, ruled that he had only violated the unbecoming conduct rule, and stripped him of his rank and gave him 30 days unpaid suspension and a year probation.

This is ridiculous… Teacher Charged With Assault After Hitting Student With 11-Pound Backpack A hot-headed high school teacher who says his “bad temper” was the reason why he hurled a heavy book bag at his students’ head during a confrontation will now face misdemeanor assault charges as a result. via Fox News A Minnesota teacher faces a misdemeanor assault charge for allegedly throwing an 11-pound backpack at a student’s head during class. St. Peter High School science teacher Robert Shoemaker also is charged with malicious punishment of a child, a gross misdemeanor, The Free Press of Mankato reported. According to the complaint, a student in Shoemaker’s class said he wasn’t feeling good and was tired, so he put his head on his desk. The student, who was 17 at the time, said he heard Shoemaker walk toward him before he was hit on the head with the backpack. The student was treated for a bruised neck. High school staff weighed the backpack after the incident and determined it weighed 11 pounds, the complaint said. If your “bad temper” causes you to throw things at students’ heads hard enough to leave a bruise, then you don’t need to be taking anger management classes instead of teaching students. SMH.
