They DJs are facing a probe into their actions by police in Britain. Some say the nurse’s family has been given less support than the Australian DJs, who have apologized and are said to be in fragile mental states themselves. At the same time, their employer says they did nothing legally wrong. Political officials have demanded a full inquiry into Saldanha’s death after meeting her husband and two teenage children at the British House of Commons. Prime Minister David Cameron said in a statement that all the information possible about her death should be gathered and shared with the appropriate parties. “When you read of how hard she had worked across her life and all the things she had done and how much she cared about health and looking after people,” he said. “This is just a terrible, terrible case and, as I said, I am sure there are lessons to learn.” “When any of these things happen, having the full facts of the case doesn’t bring anybody back, but it does, I think, help people come to terms with what has happened.” “So, in so far as that is possible, I would support that.” The radio hosts of 2Day FM, who boasted of their call while the duchess was hospitalized for morning sickness, have had their show canceled and suspended themselves.

Lindsay Lohan Facing Eight MONTHS in Jail

Lindsay Lohan could be headed to the can for a long time, according to reports. The fallout from her recent run-ins with the law could mean 245 days behind bars. When Hot Mess Anonymous is arraigned Wednesday for allegedly lying to police following her car accident last June, the judge will likely revoke her probation. Linds is on probation for her jewelry heist conviction. Judge Stephanie Sautner will then set a date for a hearing to formally decide if Lindsay Lohan violated the terms of her probation by breaking the law again. The hearing will take place at the same time LiLo stands trial on criminal charges – this is unrelated to her punching Tiffany Mitchell , for which she was also arrested. Even if Lindsay is found not guilty in the criminal case, the judge can still rule she violated probation; proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt is not required. The stakes for Lindsay are high, to say the least. She’s looking at eight months in jail for just the probation violation, and that doesn’t include the potential jail time if she’s convicted in the car accident case. Another bad sign? The L.A. City Attorney is “out for blood” and will file papers Wednesday asking that Lindsay’s probation be revoked, according to TMZ. The judge makes that determination on her own – prosecutors don’t even have to ask for it – but their voice will certainly be heard, and their voice won’t be kind. Of course, this is Lindsay Lohan. She’s pulled legal rabbits out of her hat more times than we can even count. Hell, she makes beating the rap look easy. The 26-year-old star always claims police are out to get her … maybe the judge will agree and give her one more chance for the 74th consecutive time. You tell us: Do you think she should do hard time?   Yes, that train wreck brat will never learn otherwise! No, quit trying to make an example out of her, haters! View Poll »

Amanda Bynes Warned By Judge: NO DRIVING!

Amanda Bynes has been warned: Any more driving while her license is suspended will result in serious ramifications. Ones prosecutors already want to impose. Her lawyer was in court today to fight the D.A.’s request to impose $50,000 bail for her April DUI arrest. The actress is currently free on her own recognizance. The D.A. argued Amanda has proven time and again that she’s a danger on the road (not a big stretch) and wants to protect the public (seriously) from her. The judge in Bynes’ DUI case said her two hit-and-run violations took place before her license was suspended, so she did not jail Amanda or impose bail. Yet. It was made quite clear: Enough driving follies. Any more infractions from this day forward will mean real consequences; she isn’t legally allowed drive at all at the moment because her license is suspended. Bynes’ downward spiral has been well documented in recent months, with some going so far as to say she should be placed under conservatorship a la Britney. In sort of related news, today saw Lindsay Lohan arrested in NYC for a hit-and-run on a pedestrian … just days after she griped about Bynes beating the rap. Who’s the bigger mess? Vote below :

John Edwards Mug Shot: Always a Politician …

Once a politician, always a politician. Look at that handsome, smiling face. Going by these images, you’d never expect that former U.S. Senator John Edwards knocked up mistress Rielle Hunter while his wife was terminally ill, lied about it repeatedly, then allegedly covered it up with campaign funds. But, here we are. Nice to see John Edwards is still having fun . Edwards pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and campaign law violations. These mug shots were obtained by CNN . Goooo Freedom of Information Act! The plea came after a grand jury indicted him on six counts, including conspiracy, issuing false statements and violating campaign finance laws. The grand jury had been investigating whether money given to support Rielle Hunter by benefactors of Edwards’ 2008 run for the presidency. Their conclusion was that there was enough evidence to charge Edwards, who insists that despite his personal failings, he did not break the law . A plea deal between Edwards and the U.S. Justice Department fell apart over the the DOJ’s requirement that Edwards go to jail. He declined. Guess he’ll roll the dice at trial, where his chances of beating the rap are iffy. In the court of opinion, however, he’s long since been convicted.
