Teen Mom has turned a bunch of ordinary knocked up girls into quasi-stars, but how much do Farrah Abraham and her ilk make to air their troubles on TV? According to reports, the Teen Moms bring in $60,000-65,000 per season. Not even close to the amount Snooki and The Situation command, but not bad. As for whether the babies themselves are covered, that’s trickier. Farrah’s salary is a nice boost to her modeling income. There’s a chance that the parents have opened trust accounts for the kiddos, but not necessarily. That would entail them being intelligent, not required to by law. The Coogan Law, named for former child star Jackie Coogan, protects child actors in several states, requiring employers to set aside 15 percent in a trust. But laws covering actors aren’t generally seen as covering reality stars’ offspring. So Amber Portwood is free to use her checks on legal fees or trashy tattoos .

Matthew Fox Denies Cheating on Wife

Rumors surfaced in February that Matthew Fox pulled a Josh Duhamel and cheated on his wife with some random stripper. Pretty wrong if it’s true. But Fox has finally broken his silence to say that it’s not, and there was no such railage of Stefani Talbott at Stars Cabaret club in Bend, Oregon. Fox has been married to wife Margherita for over 18 years, and in an interview with Playboy , he denied any sort of cheating on his better half. Mysteries of the island remain, however (see Lost review from last night). Matthew Fox and wife Margherita Fox . “The story is not true, and I’m not going to comment [further] on it,” he said . “Margherita and I have been best friends and best lovers.” “She’s the love of my life.” “We have managed to both be intensely independent and maintain strength in our relationship. I am a man, and I am an appreciator of women. At the same time, Margherita is the s—. I can honestly say we’re good together.” “We’ve been together for 23 years, so let’s leave it at that.” Well, that settles that. Hopefully Fox is telling the truth and we can leave it at that, and he isn’t hopping aboard the Jesse James Express to marriage exile.

Tracy Young: Dating Kim Zolciak!

Big Papa who?!? After having been romantically linked to that a dude with that nickname for most of her life on The Real Housewives of Atlanta , it’s now been revealed that Kim Zolciak is dating a woman. Her name is Tracy Young. “Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim,” an insider told Us Weekly . “Since they’ve been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other.” Zolciak appeared publicly for the first time with her script-mandated lover with Young at the Blacks’ Annual Gala in Miami Beach on Saturday. The latter, a DJ, spun a remix of Zolciak’s single, “Tardy for the Party,” while Kim was overheard saying: “We’re really happy!” Simon van Kempen, a star on The Real Housewives of New York City , must have gotten an early look at the script for his Bravo counterpart recently. He’s on record as saying Zolciak’s sexuality will be a major storyline in 2010. “The rumor is that Kim Zolciak will come out this season,” Simon said.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Engaged!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, who have been together for several years and are already the parents of two adorable children, are getting married. Richie made the announcement Monday night on The Late Show . Madden followed it up with a confirmation Tweet: “Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy.” Sums it all up right there. He adds: “Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the hooplah all the same.” A source tells Us Weekly of the pair: “Nicole and Joel are in the process of planning the wedding . She’s very involved in every detail. She’s thrilled.” The couple is expected to marry ( for real this time ) in the summer. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden last year. These two have been a nice, relatively normal couple and cute family for so long, but it’s great to see they are making it official. Congrats Nicole and Joel!

Stephanie Birkitt, the woman at the center of the David Letterman sex and blackmail scandal, has been banned from New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theater. The 34-year-old former aide, who appeared on the Late Show numerous times in comedy bits, was later offered a job by Dave as his personal attorney.
