Ever since her split from Liam Hemsworth , Miley Cyrus’ career has been on the rise. But there are some close to the singer who believe that her health and personal life has become cause for concern – and Liam is among them. “He was extremely worried when he heard she was in the hospital,” said a source close to Hemsworth. “They didn’t work out as a couple, but he still wants to know she’s okay.” The insider claims Hemsworth contacted Cyrus in the hospital and they spoke briefly. Liam reportedly told friends that he “still cares” about his ex-fiancee. Miley was hospitalized following a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics last week. The singer is expected to make a full recovery but has been forced to postpone several tour dates and there has been no official word on when she expects to be released. Liam, of course, isn’t the only one who’s concerned. Fans who are worried about the singer expressed their anxiety on Twitter after a tabloid report indicated that Miley has a heart defect that could prove life-threatening. That much is unclear, but TV Fanatic has confirmed that the First Lady will guest star on the May 7 episode of this ABC drama, coming on board as herself for an installment that features a charity concert at Army base Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Kellie Pickler will also appear on this episode. Obama will also be seen on this Thursday’s season finale of Parks and Recreation and has recently stopped by iCarly, Sesame Street and The Biggest Loser. She remains intent on promoting nutrition and physical well-being for her Let’s Move! initiative.

Despite earlier reports that the show would kick off another tour this year, a rep tells The Hollywood Reporter , “We currently have no plans of touring the cast this summer.” However, there are plans to hold a charity concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles later this year. Proceeds from the show would benefit the “Glee” Give a Note campaign, which supports music education programs in schools. Sources told Billboard.com that dates have already been discussed, but the show or shows are only in the planning stages. September seems to be the target date for the charity concert. Although a concert tour had been discussed, the focus now seems to be on the charity gig. “We have been talking about continuing our work on a next phase of ‘Glee’ Give a Note,” said Jane Balek, Give a Note’s COO and assistant executive director of the National Association for Music Education. “But no definite projects were discussed.” She added that “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy and Fox are “truly supportive of the mission of NAfME and its Give a Note Foundation.” Last year’s tour was later made into a 3-D film , “Glee: The 3D Concert Movie.” The film opened last August, and despite the show’s TV success, it failed to ignite the box office, profiting only $5.7 million in its opening weekend and landing at #11 that week. As episode 33 of American Idol Season 9 ended, the quest of Tim Urban in the show also ended. He is the latest contestant who bid farewell to the show. He even wasn’t able to sing his final performance since the show was running so late. Nevertheless, he went out smiling. The shows episode was entitled “Idol Gives Back”. It became a charity concert which highlights raising money and doing good. One of the guests was Annie Lennox , who taped a segment about an HIV-positive girl in Africa. She also sang from London.
