Blanca shows the surveillance photo of Riq picking up Kanan’s ashes, adding more intrigue to the growing case against the St.Patricks. Blanca agrees to work with Saxe again cause she wants to see the “bad guys” in jail. As a token of their new partnership, he gives her the serial number for Dre’s tracking device so she can find him. Blanca wastes no time either and immediately locates Dre and questions him. She discovers from Dre that Kanan was DC in the night Ray Ray was killed, debunking Tasha’s alibi that Kanan was at the penthouse that night. Dre also drops the bombshell that he gave Riq the information where he can find Raina’s killer. Of course, this information doesn’t come cheap, Dre wants Blanca to help him get back at Saxe for what he did to his daughter and get the ankle monitor removed. She agrees to both conditions before leaving. Next on Blanca’s list is Keisha. Accompanied by a Child Protection Service’s agent, Blanca pulls over Keisha and Cash after she picked her son up from school. Threatening to throw her son into the system, Keisha is forced into signing a cooperation deal with Blanca to prevent that from happening. With Keisha now flipped, she promises to put her and Cash in witness protection. Blanca then stops by Truth to put some pressure on Ghost but doesn’t really get anything out of him, but he’s a pro and doesn’t buckle under the influence. James does learn some interesting tidbits, which he will speak to Tasha about later. Blanca notices the glass he left on the bar, and she takes it to get it tested and discovers a 50% DNA match linking Riq to Ray Ray’s murder. Tasha grabs her car keys and tells her she cannot allow her to leave the house and that they will wait for Tommy to come back. A struggle ensues, and while this is all going on, Tommy and Cash are at the mall ring shopping. Looks like Tommy is dead set on making Keisha his boo forever and has the approval of her son. Back at the house, the struggle for gun continues, which ends with Keisha getting shot during the fight. While on the floor, Keisha begs for her life, but Tasha is looking out for herself, Riq, Ghost, and Tommy and shoots Keisha in the head. Tasha grabs the papers Keisha signed and runs out of the house, we are confused as to why she did all of this not wearing any gloves. Comedian Sherri Shepherd is pretty frustrated with her baby daddy. The 52-year-old found a humorous way to show her level of “fed up” although we aren’t quite sure which baby daddy the vitriol is aimed at. Shepherd was married to Jeff Tarpley for nine years and they share a child together. They split in 2010. “The View” alum was quickly remarried in 2011 to Lamar Sally. The two had planned to have a child via surrogate, but when they decided to divorce in 2015, a court ruled that Shepherd was the legal parent of the child. In 2017, only 7% of children’s books were published by Black, LatinX or indigenous authors. As we move towards a more diverse population, the lack of representation across the diaspora in books is appalling. Non-profit organization NABU saw this inconsistency and decided to help close the diversity gap with NABU Publishing. Together these women are making sure that reading is not only accessible but also representative of marginalized communities. Benedict who is the Director of Global Operations and Programs shared, “The significance of seeing one’s reality in a storybook, should not be taken lightly. When you grow up reading in your mother-tongue, and actively seeing yourself represented in illustrations, you develop self-confidence that is unbound and powerful. You begin to believe that you are the creator of your own destiny, and this intrinsic belief ultimately leads to self-actualization.” Currently, only 13% of children’s books published in the US in the last 25 years contain any kind of multicultural content. NABU publishing is actively changing this. The publishing company was birthed when the co-creators of NABU realized how much talent was in Haiti and Rwanda. They created a network of authors and illustrators who are creating engaging children’s stories for their respective local markets (and in their local languages) to help increase and encourage literacy amongst children. NABU Publishing is helping to take this a step further by translating the stories into bilingual English editions for the US children’s book market. This is incredible for second generation children and parents who want to make sure their children have diverse books or books with characters represented from their home country. To launch their program, today, on International Day Of The Girl, NABU Publishing chose two stories from their Haitian collection: Princess Maniya and Lila Plays Soccer. The books feature the original Haitian Creole and English translation side by side and strong girl protagonists. What a way to promote and encourage bilingual behavior amongst children! Given that NABU is a non-profit, the proceed from the books will fund NABU’s early childhood literacy work in Haiti as well as enable them to commission more creatives to create books in their language. For each book that is sold, NABU will give a free digital copy to children in Haiti who are reading on tablets and smartphones. If you look on the back of each book, you’ll find a QR code and readers can see a live tracking of how many pages children in the NABU programs have read! So cool. There are over 7,000 languages spoken in the world today and almost half of them are in danger of extinction. For Black communities, story telling has often been a way of passing down traditions, history and more. This is the direct way that culture survives. By creating NABU Publishing, the organization is encouraging the preservation of languages, traditions, and overall culture so that the next generation can benefit and thrive. While your children may have access to books, there are many that do not. Purchase a copy for your child here and a digital copy will be sent to a child in Haiti. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out what exactly is going on in Jenelle Evans' life, as the woman lies as naturally as most people draw breath. But that doesn't mean she's good at lying. It was only after breaking up that Bear Brown and Raiven Adams realized that they were expecting a child together . Bear and Raiven got back together after realizing that they still had feelings for each other. Now, Raiven is showing off her baby bump — and telling fans her plans for her baby’s reality career. Raiven and Bear’s relationship went public and immediately got a little rocky thanks to the “opinions” of so-called fans. But for now, they’re focused on the positive. Late on Tuesday night, Raiven took to Instagram to share a photo of her barely-there baby bump. Here is her bare tummy at 11 weeks pregnant. It may be a subtle bump, but you can see it. Awww! Raiven also opened up this week in an Instagram Q&A. A follower had asked if she planned on letting her little bun in the oven appearing on Alaskan Bush People like his father. “I would be very sad for my little to not be filmed,” Raiven’s response begins. She added: “[They will be] in the biggest parts of our life.” “So yes,” Raiven answered. Raiven also spoke about what makes her so sure that reality television would be a good place for her child to grow up. She writes: “and [the] film crew is so wonderful!” That is certainly heartwarming to hear. “I know they will treat our baby as their own,” Raiven predicts. This is so sweet! It’s wonderful that she’s having such a positive experience with all of Bear’s family and with their reality star lifestyle. Fans asked about more than just reality stardom, however. One followers asked Raiven if she is “excited to watch [her] little one grow up with Noah’s little one.” Noah Brown and his wife, Rhain Alisha, already welcomed their first child. Raiven indicated in the affirmative, writing: “Noah and Gabe’s.” That’s right — Gabe Brown and Raquell Rose are expecting their first child , as we learned this summer. That will mean three cousins close in age, all growing up close to each other! If you didn’t catch Raiven’s not-so-subtle hints, it seems very clear that she’s appeared on Alaskan Bush People . Talking about the camera crew with such familiarity sounds like the words of someone who has been filmed — a lot. It’s not really a surprise that the show is expanding to film Bear’s partner. One, there’s only so many times that they can film him running in the woods and howling. They need some fresh material for him. Two, Bear and Raiven are part of a new element of the show: grandbabies! As Raiven was sure to mention, Gabe and Raquell are expecting their first child. And Noah and Rhain have already welcomed their precious baby. As Rain Brown approaches adulthood (faster than anyone would believe), she’s already becoming an aunt – soon, an aunt of three. Thta also means three grandbabies for Billy and Ami. Of course fans are interested and invested in the latest additions to the Brown family. This means she can’t afford to pay court fees. The court reviewed her financial records and found Seraphin “Indigent”. They proceeded to waive the majority of fees she would have to pay in her legal battle against flagrantly absent father Future. Previously, we told you that Eliza had claimed publically to have exhausted all of her savings since becoming pregnant with Future’s daughter. She wrote: I lost over 100K having my lil angel. Lost wages and spent a great chunk of my savings. Haven’t been able to work since I was 5 months pregnant.
