Rumor control… Vivica Fox Speaks On Her ‘Black Magic’ Controversy Vivica Fox is speaking on the controversy surrounding her seemingly homophobic “Black Magic” show statements. As previously reported Viv’s business partner said he no longer wanted to work with her after she gave a resounding “HELL NO” to her dancers shaking it for gay men. Viv has since said that ALL people are welcome at her all-male shake shows and she’s telling HipHollywood that she’s been misunderstood. Furthermore, she believes Kim Burrell’s recent (and actual) homophobic rant played a part in the outrage. “I definitely think coming off the heels of that [Kim Burrell] happening that they didn’t even listen to the [interview],” said Viv. “They just said, ‘she’s homophobic!’ And I’ve never been that way. Director/producer Jean-Claude LaMarre caught wind of Vivica’s semi-homophobic tone when explaining to The Breakfast Club that her dancers do NOT pop and shake it for men under any circumstances and there’s no need for gay men’s dollars at her revue shows: As LaMarre told TMZ , she can keep that isht over there: “The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed. Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.” Now that doesn’t mean there will be NO show…LaMarre still plans to Executive Produce the reality show. Angelina And Brad Pitt’s Daughter Shiloh Wants To Be Called John Via Rumor Fix reports: Shiloh Jolie-Pitt wants to be called ‘John’ according to her famous dad dad Brad Pitt. In a recent interview he revealed his nine-year-old daughter interrupts him if he calls her “Shi” to say “John, I’m John.” Four years ago Angelina revealed to Vanity Fair that “She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.” The couple has mentioned in the past that Shiloh has wanted to be called the boy’s name from the early age of three. But it was her red carpet look at Monday’s premiere of Unbroken where Shiloh/John walked the red carpet with her dad and two older brothers Pax and Maddox that turned heads. Shiloh confidently rocked a menswear formal look with a suit and tie, with her short hair slicked back. Whether she’s just always been a tomboy, just wants to emulate her older brothers, or has gender identity issues remains to be seen. Dwayne Johnson came out for the premiere of Hercules last night, posing often for photographers at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. This came as no surprise, of course. Johnson is the star of the movie and all. But the WWE star-turned-actor was accompanied for the event by Lauren Hashian , as Johnson’s long-time girlfriend made a rare public appearance. Johnson met Hashian while filming The Game Plan in 2007. He divorced wife Dany Garcia a year later, with many speculating that an affair with Hashian was to blame. But Johnson and Garcia remain close, with the latter even working alongside her ex-husband on his movie career, so whatever transpired appears to have been long forgotten by both sides. Across the pond in the U.K., the popular sitcom The Inbetweeners earned two BAFTA nominations and the Audience Award and ran for three seasons, depicting the coming-of-age mortifications of four teenage boys (Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley, and Blake Harrison) stumbling their way through life, girls, and the assorted humiliations of young adulthood. Naturally, MTV’s gone and mimicked the formula with an Americanized version, but the original foursome get their own feature-length holiday in The Inbetweeners Movie (out September 7). ‘He’s a wild one, that boy,’ Mark Wahlberg tells MTV News. By Kara Warner Ted as voiced by Seth McFarlane and Mark Wahlberg in “Ted” Photo: Give “Family Guy” mastermind Seth MacFarlane his first R-rated, live-action feature film about a “living” foul-mouthed teddy bear co-starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis and things are going to get rather inappropriate rather quickly. Like teddy bears doing sexual things with vegetables, for example. When MTV News sat down with the cast of “Ted” recently, we asked them to provide detailed explanations for how warm, fuzzy and filthy-minded Ted manages to have sex without the aid of any of the familiar tools, as it were. “Well, he does a lot with the lips and tongue. A lot. Almost to the point that he’s definitely going to get tongue cancer,” Wahlberg deadpanned. “Yeah, he’s a freak. He does freaky things with vegetables. … He’s a wild one, that boy.” Kunis started her explanation off with a more audience-friendly description. “Kids these days like to do what I think is called ‘dry hump,’ so maybe the bear does that. He uses tools,” she offered innocently. As it turned out, MacFarlane provided the most straightforward-yet-slightly censored answer, possibly because he has to take all “Ted”-related subjects more seriously as the writer/director/voice of “Ted.” “We haven’t ever really explained that. There’s a scene where you see him having sex with [girlfriend] Tammy-Lyn in the back of the grocery store. We don’t explain what’s going on in there,” MacFarlane said. “They are in a grocery store, there is a lot of produce and vegetables available, which, depending on what kind of imagination you have, could be a part of the process. The pop star shut down Hollywood Boulevard for the premiere of her much-anticipated 3-D documentary “Part of Me.” She hit the pink carpet at the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre looking old Hollywood glam in a strapless red velvet dress complete with purple hair. After hitting the carpet — alongside Selena Gomez, Carly Rae Jepsen and Victoria Justice — Perry wowed thousands of her KatyCats, giving them a special concert. The 3-D film is a diary of the past year for Perry, who has experienced many highs but also some very personal lows, most notably her split from ex-husband Russell Brand . MTV News caught up with Perry on the pink carpet, where she said that even though this movie reveals many difficult moments, she didn’t necessarily find that it helped her cope with the situation. But she hopes it acts as an inspiration to her fans. “I wouldn’t say it’s so therapeutic, because the movie is so well-rounded with so many different things,” Perry said. “I guess some of it is just hopefully an inspiration for people. When they see it, they are like, ‘Oh, yeah, she goes through some sh– too. I can’t dodge life’s curve balls if Katy Perry can’t dodge life’s curve balls.’ ” Perry hit the stage by busting out of a giant popcorn tub wearing a film-reel bustier, which she paired with a red-and-white skirt. On the occasion of his retirement from the biz, everyone’s favorite canine actor, Uggie the dog , (well, maybe not everyone’s ) was honored today with a history-making pawprint ceremony outside of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Guests celebrated with a fire hydrant-shaped cake as the Artist and Water for Elephants co-star sank his paws into the wet cement of Hollywood legend, making him not only the first dog performer to receive the honor, but the first cast member from the Oscar-winning The Artist (which also happens to be released on DVD and Blu-ray this week).
