On Thursday, the social media giant reveled it didn’t properly mask the passwords of hundreds of millions of its users and stored them in an internal database that could be accessed by its staff. The company told CNN , it discovered its mistake during a security review in January and launched an investigation shortly afterwards. Facebook has not said how long they have been storing passwords in this way. It will be notifying hundreds of millions of Facebook users and tens of thousands of Instagram users if their passwords were involved. Read More: CNN
Source: altrendo travel / Getty Ethiopian Airlines Crash Kills 157 People 157 people are dead after an airplane crashed just minutes after takeoff. CNN reports that Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 left Bole airport in Addis Ababa bound for Nairobi, Kenya, at 8:38 a.m. Sunday before losing contact with the control tower minutes later at 8:44 a.m. An airline spokesperson told CNN the victims were of 35 different nationalities that included 32 Kenyans, 18 Canadians, nine Ethiopians, eight Americans, eight Italians, and seven UK nationals were among the passengers. Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Tewolde GebreMariam, called the pilot’s track record “excellent” and added that he’d flown more than 8,000 hours. The senior pilot also reportedly told air traffic control that he was experiencing technical difficulties and asked permission to return back to the airport. Authorities are not ruling out the idea of a terror attack. This story is still developing…

The popular womenswear manufacturer announced that they’ll be closing 53 stores in the U.S. after a decrease in 2018 sales. CNN reports: The difficult holiday period and planned store closures are the latest turmoil for the brand. In November, Victoria’s Secret’s CEO resigned. In December, its annual fashion show sunk to its worst ratings ever. The company closed 30 stores last year as it tried to escape weak malls. A list of which stores will be impacted by the closings has not been released. Sad day for panty lovers.

According to TMZ, the women have joined forces for a new show for VH1. Apparently the show is called “Girls Crew” and Barbados is just one stop on their itinerary. Michael Cohen, President Trump’s former Attorney testified today and had a TON of things to say that aren’t to flattering in regards to Trump’s legal and business dealings. CNN Live Coverage: Here are some very interesting things that have come to light so far in the testimony: 1. Cohen says Trump inflated his assets to be on the Forbes list of richest people. 2. Cohen says Trump threatened former High school and universities so they would not release his transcripts and grades during the election. 3. Cohen presented a copy of the check that was paid Cohen, to keep his dealings with Trump’s porn star mistress. 4. Cohen admits he practiced “catch and kill” tactic for Trump Michael Cohen said he practiced the tactic of “catch and kill” — where a publication buys the rights to a story and then buries the story as a favor to someone — for President Trump. 5. According to TMZ , the 55-minute VHS video is much more shocking than the first sex tape that Avenatti procured in April 2018 . The 45-minute long VHS recording was uncovered after multiple clients came to him alleging Kelly had sexually assaulted minors. He claims the video clearly shows Kelly engaging in multiple sex acts with a girl. Related: R. After that, he urinates on her. CNN says the girl is seen on tape referring to her body parts as “14 years old.” Now, in regards to this second tape Avenatti is preparing to turn over to prosecutors, sources say R.Kelly is seen on camera having sex with the same 14-year-old girl seen in the aforementioned video. Sources tell TMZ , R. Kelly is seen choking the girl while having anal intercourse. There’s also a part where he takes some sort of lotion and “sprays” it all over her face. The segment filled viewers in on what’s to come in the months ahead — the long-awaited Deadwood movie, the return of Big Little Lies , new seasons of Barry, Veep , and Succession … Oh, and the final episodes of that show with the Wall and the crumbling society intent on ignoring growing threats to its very existence. Game of Thrones Season 8 Preview Teaser No, CNN’s not canceling Anderson Cooper. We’re talking about Game of Thrones , the final episodes of which are set to begin airing on April 14. Now, at this point, pretty much everyone’s got their theories about the ending of Game of Thrones , but that’s not stopping HBO and the show’s producers from playing it close to the vest. The new teaser gives away next to nothing — but that’s not stopping fans from dissecting this latest morsel in search of hidden meaning. We’re given little more than a shot of some soaring dragons, followed by a close-up of Arya smiling at … something. The way the trailer is cut, it appears that she’s smiling up at the dragons, but that could be misleading. Of course, it would make sense that Arya would be pleased by a fire-breathing symbol of the Khaleesi-Jon Snow alliance, and it’s opposition to Cersei and the rest of the baddies from King’s Landing. And it’s worth noting that Arya’s journey has been more abstract than those of the other main characters. In other words, homegirl has seen some sh-t, and she’s closely acquainted with the dark side of Westeros. So maybe her optimistic reaction is a sign that the dragons are being deployed to address the growing White Walker issue. Or maybe we’re just reading way too much into three seconds of footage and a semi-smile. Just after Gucci and Moncler were blasted for racist designs that very blatantly showcased blackface, Burberry is also being accused of racism and insensitivity. After featuring a hoodie with a noose around the neck during their autumn/winter 2019 fashion show on Sunday, Burberry CEO Marc Gobbetti is apologizing. “We are deeply sorry for the distress caused by one of the products that featured in our A/W 2019 runway collection Tempest,” Gobbetti said in the statement provided to CNN . “Though the design was inspired by the marine theme that ran throughout the collection, it was insensitive and we made a mistake.” Liz Kennedy—a model who was a part of the show— came for Burberry hard over the weekend. “Suicide is not fashion. It is not glamorous nor edgy and since this show is dedicated to the youth expressing their voice, here I go. Riccardo Tisci and everyone at Burberry it is beyond me how you could let a look resembling a noose hanging from a neck out on the runway” she wrote, adding “How could anyone overlook this and think it would be okay to do this especially in a line dedicated to young girls and youth. I left my fitting extremely triggered after seeing this look (even though I did not wear it myself). Feeling as though I was right back where I was when I was going through an experience with suicide in my family. Also to add in they briefly hung one from the ceiling (trying to figure out the knot) and were laughing about it in the dressing room. I had asked to speak to someone about it but the only thing I was told to do was to write a letter. I had a brief conversation with someone but all that it entailed was “it’s fashion. Nobody cares about what’s going on in your personal life so just keep it to yourself” well I’m sorry but this is an issue bigger than myself. The issue is not about me being upset, there is a bigger picture here of what fashion turns a blind eye to or does to gain publicity. A look so ignorantly put together and a situation so poorly handled. I am ashamed to have been apart of the show. #burberry.
